I bought this for my Grandson, he's been hitting me up for a workbench for sometime now. First impressions are how heavy it was when grabbing it off the shelf. When I got it home I saw why. It's almost entirely made from steel, very little plastic on this little gem.

The assembly manual is detailed and if you can follow instructions and pay attention to the details, shouldn't have a problem putting it together.

A couple points to note: Some of the fasteners (6mm screws I believe) used during assembly are incredibly close to the same length and need to be sorted to avoid confusion later. The table separates to form a vise with a lead-screw/crank on each side and a removable leaf in the center. It works, but is awkward to use, requiring both hands turning at the same time to keep the table from binding.

All things considered It's a well engineered, well built real world tool bench that should last for years to come.

I choose to rate this item because it was worth the money for our five and a half year old. He loves his tool stand and is ready to order the bird house and other build your own creations for it. The instructions are step for step and it is sturdy and easy to fold and place away. If you have a little builder at home this would be the one to buy.
