Transportation Train Set with Train, Plane, Helicopter, Truck and Car

My little boy received this for his 2nd birthday.With much help from us it was put together on the carpet, stepped on by him and broken all within about 10 minutes of opening it.With a little wood glue the track piece was put back together but has broken a few times since.My son REALLY LOVES the airplane and helicopter that comes with it, but those too have broken several times and needed fixed.Maybe my son was just too young for this toy to treat it properly, but overall, even with it breaking, my son has been a big fan and I am adding some accesories for this to his Christmas list.Not sure what the suggested age is on this set, but I am hoping the older he gets the more gentle he will be with it.Does require a lot of parental help to put it together so do not think you can just give this to your toddler and walk away.Also, a concern is the little pieces that come with it (signs, people, etc)which have to be put away if we are playing with it with our 16 month old around.

We bought this from a different store and returned in within two days.The tracks are not the same quality as Thomas sets (which I realize are far more expensive) and also it is impossible to keep the train on the tracks. The last thing that made us return it was the fact that the bridge is not tall enough to clear the train on the lower level tracks.This made our 4 and 2 year olds mad.
