I bought this for my mom as a gift for Mothers Day. I know the traditional statue is all white but this was so beautiful. Needless to say when she recieved it she was in tears and agreed with me on the realism in the colors. Very well made and looks like it costs much more than what I paid. I highly recommend this beautiful piece of art.
although the original figure was designed by Michelangelo made of white marble, I think he does not disappoint with this color version. The piece is simply beautiful! despite the large size it is not heavy. It was a gift for my mother and she just loved. The piece came well packaged which avoided damage during delivery.Saw the Pieta at a Gift Shop for $55.00.When I went back to purchase it, it was gone.Found this online for same price.This one was exactly the same including coloring but twice the size.Very pleased with it and love the size as you can appreciate the detail of Michaelangelos work.
