My daughter also received it for her 4th b-day and LOVES playing with it. It does fall apart easily and the back wall of it (the part that is vertical when it is open for play) falls backwards with just the slightest bump which she finds frustrating becasue it messes up "her decorations" how she set up the ball. The other thing she finds very frustrating is that only one of the three dance platforms spins all three turn around the floor, but only one also spins. If you have a child who spends much of her imaginative play time setting up and arranging all the pieces perfectly, do not get this toy it will frustrate her.

She does not play with it nearly as much as she plays with the castle. Although I am happy enough with it, it is not a must-have toy, in my opinion.

My daughter has the celebration castle,dance studio and amusement park.Of all of them the dance studio is the most compact.It folds into a carrying case that sort of resembles a hat box.This is the best one for travel,althogh the ponies will not fit in it folded up.Also it requires no assembly.You just take it out of the box,put in the batteries and go.If you are looking for a compact house I reccomend this one.

My step-daughter loves this toy! I pre-ordered this item and recieved yesterday and she's been playing with it since, non-stop. It plays music, and seems pretty durable. We accidently pushed the window out but it popped right back in place. It's very cute and the she loves wacthing the MLP's dance around the turn tables on it. There's nothing educational about though, just fun for the girls. And it comes with 16 pony points, if your interested in that. I deffinetly recommend this for all MLP fans.

I decided on this for my daughters 4th bday after reading not so good things about the castle, which is what she really wanted. She fell in love the dance studio as soon as we opened it. It was very easy to assemble. She loves putting ponies on the turn tables and watching them "dance". Some pieces do pop off occasionally, but they just as easy to pop right back on. When she's done playing, all pieces, plus a few additional ponies fit right inside the dance studio which folds into a neat little case. A must have for any pony lover.
