Great product that makes the chore of picking up ping pong balls easy and quick. Our club uses barriers to enclose each table during play and normally a lot of time is wasted picking up stray balls, but with the Pong Pal, it's so much quicker and easier to gather all the balls. It's catching on quickly; so far 3 of us have this neat device. It fits easily into most gym bags for transport; it comes apart in the middle. Once each person finishes picking up, we just turn it upside down and empty into our pocket, then we're ready to play again. More play time because it saves your back and quads from the constant bending over. Worth its weight in gold!

If it weren't for the Pong-Pal I wouldn't be able to play table tennis back problems prevent me from bending down far enough to pick up balls. With the Pong-Pal I play until we run out of balls (kicking any stray ones to the side of the room) then go around collecting balls with the Pong-Pal. It picks them up without fail, and the length is just right to reach them without bending forward (I'm 5'5", for someone considerably taller it might be necessary to bend forward a little, depending on the length of your arms, but it's still considerably less strain than trying to pick balls up off the floor). With daily use over a year or so the elastic at the end, which cleverly grabs the ball, stretches slightly and doesn't grab the balls so well it's a very simple job to tie an extra knot in it to tighten it up. Problem solved. I take the Pong-Pal apart with one quick twist, and carry the two halves in my sports bag when I play at the Table Tennis Club. If you have difficulty picking up table tennis balls, or just want to speed up the picking-up process, for example when using a ball machine, then this ingenious gadget is worth every cent.

And so, very short and only slightly better than leaning over for someone with a bad back or just wanting to be quicker about picking up balls. I wish it was longer. I am 6 ft tall.
