I purchased two sets of these for a baby shower and they made great additions to the cake table and food table they stand pretty well and are good enough quality to pass on to a first birthday party for the sister in law.
I ordered these for my nephews birthday party, they were adorable very sturdy and helped add to the atmosphere of the theme.Not sure what the kids thought of them, but the adults thought they were great and couldn't believe I found them on amazon at such a great price.They certainly served there purpose, they were so sturdy that I was able to store them for future parties.I would highly recommend this product, hopefully it will suit your needs as they did mine.
