Buy Melissa & Doug Skyline Suspension Bridge Now
This is a very well made, LARGE suspension bridge which is compatible with most other wooden train sets (our train stuff is mostly Thomas and it works perfectly fine with that). For the money, this is a VERY cool train accessory/destination piece. Compared to the other brand mentioned above, this is a steal! The piece is quite large, so make sure you have room on your play surface to fit it in! Overall, the quality is top-notch, and just as good as Thomas. The painting is great and nicely detailed, and the piece is very sturdy. Will definately be buying more M & D train pieces to add to our son's collection.

This bridge is incredibly well priced given how big it is and how attractive it is.My daughter has generic wooden tracks but everything else is Thomas stuff..which we all know can get very pricey. This bridge is better than any of the Thomas ones at almost half the cost, not to mention had the best reviews as well.Santa is also bringing her the Thomas spiral expansion pack, and combined with this bridge and her existing train stuff, will make for awesome track building. For the price this is a spectacular deal.Keep in mind when purchasing that this takes two 9" pieces on each side to get the trains on/off/up the bridge...and the bridge itself is 14" long. So this piece alone is 50" so you will need at least approx. 54" (to allow room for the end curves you'll want to put on each end to give the train a place to go) on your train table. I gave it 3 stars because is is good quality, but really a pain in my tush. I takes up the entire table (at a diagonal because our table isn't quite long enough) and it really inhibits any creative patterns because you can't do a whole lot with this huge thing in the way. My daughter has not run her trains on it once since Christmas (today is Jan 9th). She's 3 1/2 and doesn't seem to care for this bridge. I'm not sure if it's overwhelming or if it's because it's in the middle and she has to reach across. But I think I'll be packaging it up and either reselling it or just saving it to put out when we maybe someday have a bigger house and more floor space. I hope this review helps some of you.
