This stand is sleek and beautiful, but where the panels come together at the corners the pale color of the particle board (yes, obviously it's not solid cherry or anything) is visible. We purchased a furniture marker at Home Depot (approximately $5.00) and applied a few layers at the seams; the particle board is no longer visible, and the furniture looks great. It's moderately durable, short, but quite wide. Also, the drawer slides open with ease and, surprisingly, appears high in quality. Each stand takes around 45 minutes to assemble.
