We bought this for an 18 month old and she loves it. The colors are nice but not cheap and silly looking. The chairs are so solid that I sit on them and I weigh 240. Perfect for her love of coloring.

The only thing that keeps it from being five stars is the assembly of the chairs. No matter what I did they wobble just slightly. Nothing noticeable when you sit on it, but for the price I thought it could have been perfect.

100 Black Dice - 16mm

I bought Qwirkle (don't worry, this fits into my review of these dice) and I like the game.But, the decals on the cubes in Qwirkle started peeling off after the first game.I thought that I could make my own version of the game that would be more durable if I had enough dice and then colored the pips with some colored permanent markers.So, that's what I used these for.The pips are recessed (which makes them easier to color, which is what I wanted).I had enough left over to use as Farkle dice (another fun game).The dice themselves are uniform and look nice (I don't collect dice, so I'm not that picky though).They suit their purpose perfectly.I think these would be great with any game that uses six sided dice.

Really, how do you write a review on dice?they are great, we used them as part of our wedding centerpieces.

Plastic Table Skirts - 16 Colors

I tried everything but was not able to get the wrinkles out of these.Not to mention the black plastic just looks like a garbage bag.Next time, I will just find a nice fabric table skirt.

These might be fine for a child's party, but I needed something that was a bit higher quality.

I wasn't sure what these were going to be like, as I had never used these before.They ended up being the perfect solution for our daughter's wedding.Really spruced up the buffet, bridal party table and the dessert table.They were easy to use, and we just tossed them afterwards.I guess if we wouldn't have had so much going on, I might have tried to save them for another occasion.We even used them with cloth tablecloths!

It bought this to line my table for a party. The adhesive tape allowed it to stick to my table nicely however when I removed it, the tape also took some of the varnish off my table.

We used these for travelling roadshows to add some color to tables. My biggest fear was that the skirts would be very wrinkled, but they weren't at all. We also re-used them quite a bit, as we did 5 different locations in 5 days. Learning: we didn't use the attached tape provided, but used masking tape so that we could reuse. Be sure to add the masking tape to the tape strip; else removing the masking tape will tear holes in the plastic.

Guidecraft Tabletop Building Blocks Starter Set

The blocks come in appealing shapes and sizes, and are well constructed.The provide hours of fun for young children, as they allow their imaginations and creativity run wild.The negative falls in the container the blocks come in.The side clasps fall off easily and do not appear to be sturdy.On the plus side, Guidecraft is very repsonsive to customer concerns and needs.

These blocks are nice and playable, but they are really really small.I know others said the same thing and I read the product description, but I must admit, I was still very surprised by how small they were.My children have hardly played with them at all since they are so small and it is difficult to make anything that will be durable and stand up to extensive playing.I have tried selling them at yard sales and on craigslist for circa $10 seeing that they are pretty much brand new and no one else will buy them.They are just too small.I would not buy them again if I could do it over again.Nice, but not quite what I was expecting for the price.

Folks: this one is a great hit with infants to toddlers. Our baby first played once with it when he was 6-7 months and loved it. Now his grandparents got him one in time for his 11 months and he can't stop playing with it. A member of the Peek-A-Block family of toys, this one comes with a bundle of blocks and a train that glides across the room (except if its carpeted) with fun sounds and lively colors. Ultimately this toy combines durability, fun and a certain educational value with a much welcome $20 price tag.

Fisher Price has done it again with their peek-a-boo block circus train...at least in my home.I purchased this for my son when he first figured out how to crawl.At 12 months, he still chases this around the living room.

It is very easy for baby to put this train into action...a simple baby press of the smoke stack.Great cause and effect learning! It is amazing how fast they learn!

There is a little spinning dial on the top of the train.If you place a block on this it will cause movement inside the block itself.So far my son isn't interested in that yet.It sure fascinates my older boys though and they are constantly placing the other blocks to see the change in activity.This leads me to believe that the toy will last through a variety of stages.

The music and colors are bright, inviting, and engaging.If he is creeping out of the room and I don't feel like moving yet....I just push the smoke stack and start up the train.It grabs his attention immediately and Luca will always creep back to "catch the train."

My son received this toy for his 1st B-day. He loves the toy, but keep on taking it apart, the block are all over the house and the last piece of the train is constantly missing. We took this toy to a yoga class where there were a lot of children different ages, and every one wanted to play with it. And I noticed that every one of the kids was doing the same thing first they took it apart, then they played with it.

The music is great, not too loud, and fun to listen to.

I put it away once in a while, to let my son forget about it and every time I take it out again, he enjoys playing with it.

My son (now 18 months) recieved this train as a gift last year for Christmas.He was about 7 months when he got it.He LOVES this toy!From the day that he got it, he was completely fascinated with it.We keep it at my mom's house, since he goes there each day for half of the day.For months, it was the first toy that he would play with immediately after we walked through the door.

He doesn't care much for the blocks being in the right place, and he will toss the blocks if I put them on the train.At 18 months, he still plays with this train on a consistent basis.He isn't as infactuated with it anymore, but it is definitely still a favorite.

With near-constant play, I have replaced the batteries three times in almost a year.It is worth it though, because it has been the best thing in the world, according to my son.

I have read some reviews that the train won't move over carpet.We haven't had this problem.It moves over our carpet without any problems, although I can imagine if we had thick carpet it would be more difficult.

I HIGHLY recommend this train, especially if your child loves toys that light-up, sing, and have moving parts.It has been an overall fantastic addition to our toy collection!!

That being said, I wish Bachmann would have included a picture of the track SOMEWHERE on their website. I purchased straight tracks to extend the layout a bit and looking at the limited pics available, I gambled it was the track with a grey surface. It is not, it has a BLACK surface. So if you need extenders, now you know.

That aside, it was a good purchase and I am satisfied with it.

This was purchased to entertain my 3 year old granddaughter under a small artificial Christmas Tree. Mission accomplished!I intended to configure it in a circle but the electrical contacts to the track are located on one of the two straight track pieces so the only way to put it together without modification is, as advertised, in the 38X47 inch oval. For the price, there is nothing "cheap" about the construction, it's just not heavy duty. I'm very happy with this purchase.

My son just got this train for Christmas. He is 5. While it may be difficult for him to set up alone it is a great way for some father/grandfather bonding. The detail is impressive on the trains. The track snaps together easily and functions well on uneven surfaces (no problem navigating my wrinkled tree skirt) the engines movement is well controlled. I was a little disappointed that I couldn't find the smoke solution in my packaging but that doesn't take away from the product. I have to play with it some more but believe it may be 5 star material. Definitely a good buy.

Small Tabletop Palm Tree

It is cheaply made. The palms were falling off when I received the item. I was able to hot glue the palms back on. It is just sitting on my desk in my work office, so nothing too important. I probably would say order another item.

I purchased two of these little Palm Trees for above my kitchen cabinets. It's a good thing they are way up there so no-one can tell how "plastic" they are. They look....just ok.

For the money, I did not expect much so I got what I paid for.

It is true that the Nabi does not come with the Android Market installed. The reason for this is Google will not allow them to put the market on because they modified the interface to the kid friendly/safe interface. It is not because they do not want it on there. It is very easy to add, just watch this video: . Also to respond to the update being difficult, they will soon have a much easier update process but they wanted to get the update out quickly to help with some of the issues. I have 3 Nabis (one for each of my 4,6,and 8 yr olds) and have had them since Christmas and I love them. We have had no major issues with freezing or crashes and all of our three original chargers work fine. With any electronic device there will be a few with issues that need replacing or fixing (Go into an apple store and check out the line at their service desk). Our 3 and 1/2 year old loves playing our smart phones and our tablet computer, so we thought it would be great if we could get him his own kid centric tablet.We were excited that this seemed to be a "full featured" android table.So I got in line at Toys R Us at 5:00AM to get one of the few that were being sold and when I arrived home and opened it up, I was EXTREMELY disappointed to learn it isn't nearly what it advertised.

First, this is not a full featured android tablet.You DO NOT have full access to the android marketplace and many of the apps that our child loves playing on our smartphones (Zoodles for one) are not available and cannot be installed on this device.

Second (and even worse), on the front page of the kid's home page is the "App Store".This is the place where Nabi tries to sell additional apps to you and your kids.Although your kids cannot make purchases without knowing your password, you also CANNOT remove this link from the page, meaning your child will be constantly encouraged to browse for more items they want you to purchase for them.

I wish I could come up with some pros, beyond the fact that I like the "idea" of creating a kid centric tablet.However, the construction didn't seem any better than any other 7" tablet and the lack of versatility was far too much of a drawback.Ultimately we purchased a basic 7" android tablet and created our own kid centric tablet by downloading the apps we wanted and then removing the items we didn't want.It was easy to temporarily remove the "marketplace" link so our child wasn't able to go shopping and wasn't tempted by constantly being asked to shop for more games, yet we can add things whenever we want.

It is a good idea, but it is not worth the money and the designers seemed far more interested in encouraging you to buy more items from their store than truly providing a kid friendly tablet.

I purchased mine from Toys R Us for 199.99 initally and when it went on sale for 149.99, I was able to get a priced adjustment for the difference.As another reviewer mentioned, it is true you cannot access the Google Android Market as available on android phones and some android tablets. But you can download 1Mobile Market from cnet.com or the Amazon app store. Between the two you have access to the same apps available on the Google version. Some of the paid apps are even cheaper. I have download Zoodles as wells a other educational games and books. Nabi customer service has mentioned they will update their App store and software in future updates. The Nabi facebook page has been a great resource for customers to share ideas and discuss concerns. Nabi customer service has been quick to respond to any questions there, resolve issues, and is very open to customer feedback. I can't complain. I think it was a great value and can't wait to see how future updates will improve the device. I would not pay these marked up prices. They will be back in stock at Toys R Us soon, after Christmas I believe.Overall, I love this tablet and I know my daughter will be thrilled with it on Christmas. I can have my phone back now.

Hit Toys - Thomas at Tidmouth Sheds

Too bad I bought this for lots more money at the Day Out with Thomas show in November, under a little pressure from my 5.5 year old son... anyway, the thing is absolute torture to set up. Spend your days and evenings with your face on the floor trying to fit and keep all the little pins together, with the frustrated kid next to you. The slightest touch makes the whole thing collapse. Gluing it is a good idea except who has room to store a fragile plastic curved building that measures 24 x 9 inches. The turntable is nice, the bridge is great, but the sheds are so badly designed that it is a crime. At least it comes with two little track pieces that adapt to the old blue tracks, which we have thousands of.

I just purchased this toy for my younger sons 4th birthday because he always wanted me to build Tidmouth Sheds out of Legos. Well, I read the reviews, bought some Super Glue and ordered it anyway. My kids were so excited when it arrived. I took a deep breath and started the assembly. I PUT IT TOGETHER IN 7 MIN with NO problems and NO glue (the directions said it would take 30 min). Yes, I'm mechanically inclined. I followed the directions, it snapped together perfectly and hasn't fallen apart once. I have two boys (8 and 4) and even with their rough play all has been well.

The tracks are sturdy, chunky plastic and connect easily. The roundtable moves smoothly with little hands. The shed doors never fell off, they are connected well. The bridge is simple to assemble. The remote control is chunky as well and is easy to hold. The buttons are in just the right place so it's not awkward to handle. The only music that plays is the Thomas melody when your child presses the button on the remote. The other button is the trains whistle. The face changing is easy to turn on or off with a switch of a button under certain tracks. Occasionally the face will not change completely after rolling over the special tracks (looks creepy) but easy to fix. Be well stocked in AAA batteries (takes 6 total). All of our motorized trains work fine on this track. The directions say ONLY PICK UP BY TURNTABLE not by the roof. I plan to never take the shed down, but just store the turntable and shed in tact.

You may wish to order the Expansion Pack for more fun. If you already own the old blue tracks be sure to guard the two Special Connector peices that are included.

I feel GREAT about this purchase.

My son is a huge Thomas fan so he was thrilled when his grandmother gave him this toy for his birthday.Unfortunately, it was difficult to assemble and the shed simply falls apart when he plays with it.The engine is fun in that it runs in reverse as well as forward, but the bridge and shed seem ridiculously flimsy to me.My son gets frustrated when it falls apart again and again.He can't fix it himself, so I don't see how it has any real educational value. The most disappointing thing is that this would be a really fun toy if it were not so poorly made.

Beware if you want Tidmouth Sheds to stay built longer than thirty seconds get out the superglue that is if you can get it together in the first place.This set can be a lot of fun for the little ones and comes with lots of pieces (Remote control Thomas, Harold the Helicopter, three way tunnel, roundhouse turntable).We recently ran out the batteries on the Thomas remote controlled engine and after fifteen minutes still cannot get into the battery compartment (the screws were tightened down hard and pretty well stripped already!).We won't be buying any more trackmaster products (though my son loves the battery operated Fearless Freddie!) and will be purchasing a wooden railway he'd rather push the cars around the track anyhow.If like the idea of the trackmaster try a different set from this one unless you want to get out the superglue.

While the shed is certainly not easy to assemble, I did not find it quite as challenging as others posting reviews. But I will say your child will not be able to assemble the sheds alone. Glue is probably not a bad idea to keep the sheds stable after assembly.

I did find the Thomas engine a bit underpowered and it had difficulty navigating the initial track grade where it started elevating. The changing face switches on the bottom of the train coupled with the track switches can be difficult to get set correctly.

I really like the TrackMaster and Tomy train series because the sets are more affordable than the wooden Brio-type trains and way more affordable than the HO scale from Bachmann. They are perfectly suited to pre-teens.

Little Tikes Easy Store Jr. Play Table with Umbrella

We bought this table for my son to use to color on but occasionally we would serve his lunch to him on it. The warmth from his food actually warped the top of the table. It's not like we were serving him HOT food just warm food. The top became soo warped toys and crayons would roll off and we could no longer even set a juice cup on it without it falling over. We upgraded to the next size table and we are much more careful what types of food we serve on it. I am usually always satisfied with the quality of Little Tikes but a table which is usually where you eat should be more durable to hold up to a warm plate being placed on it.

We just purchased the jr. easy store table with umbrella this weekend and my 20 month old loves it!I had previously let him "try" it out at toys'r'us and discovered that it is the perfect size for him.He isvery tiny for his age and so we needed a very small table for him.This is just perfect!It is great because we don't have to worry about him falling off.He sits so nicely at his table and can play with toys, eat, and color at it!The table is recommended for ages 1 1/2-5 years.It has a very sturdy design that locks into place and folds up flat for storage.We use our table in the living room for play activities and in the kitchen/dining area for meals.My son eats better in this than the highchair.;)We haven't yet used the umbrella, but we plan to take the table outside on our patio on nice days and use the umbrella with it.This will be a perfect way to keep my little boy out of the sun!This is a great little table that I know we will get many years out of.There is also a larger table with umbrella available at walmart that seats six children from ages 2-8 years.So if you need a larger table, you might want the large easy store table instead.

Overall, this is a nice set for someone who wants to put a train around the tree.If you want to have a set that you can expand, I recommend that you consider a more-expensive set.The main negative that I have on this set is that Lionel includes a low-power PowerMax transformer.This has enough power to run this set, but if you add track or accessories then you'll need a bigger transformer like the CW80 which costs around one hundred dollars.Here's what I see as the pros and cons:

Pros looks good; has headlight, smoke, whistle and lighted caboose; fastrack is a nice track system; can add lots of Lionel accessories; Amazon price of two hundred ten dollars is a respectable price.

Cons weak transformer; Christmas music boxcar needs a 9v battery and the on switch is on the bottom of the boxcar;

We just opened the track cleaner that goes with this set. Can't wait for the kids to have a new tradition with the Christmas train. My son carries his trains around with him and pushes them on the track and they do get beat up but they still run. The local train shop has tightened screws, fixed motors and couplings, etc. Only one engine from 10 years ago was not worth fixing since it was cheaper to buy a new engine. Hoping this set will last a long time.

Fun train set, One minor problem, switch for music on boxcar is on the bottom of the car, poor design, should be on one of the ends.

Harvard G01888W Mid Fielder Soccer Table

I realize that it costs alot to make quality items,so I, like many others settle for not-so-quality items at a reduced price. This does not mean that the items we purchase for $400-$500 should fall into a "poor quality" category. That is what I would call this foosball table. Unfortunatly I didn't realize it until I had almost finshed putting it together. The entire table is particle board. The leg adjusting cups on the bottom of the legs look like metal but are in reality chrome plated plastic. Three of the eight clamping screws for the front and rear panels were stripped. The support struts for the playing field board, being particle board, flex more than the cardboard supports for the shipping box! Needless to say I would not recommend purchasing this table unless the price was reduced to $159-$200.

Like one of the other reviewers we have this at work.It gets a lot of use.We have had it for about six months and it's falling apart.I'm sure this would be fine if it was in someone's home but getting used tournament style will kill it quick.

Wanted a solid table for my game room and got exactly that. Table weighs in at 180 pounds so it stands up to heavy play and won't dance around the floor. Not the same as a heavy bar quality table but more than holds its own. Directions were pretty straight forward and easy to follow and construction didn't take too long (about 2 1/2 hours). All in all, am very pleased with the table and the price.

This table is falling apart at work LOL. We have two foosball tables at work and this one is the "bad foosball table" LOL. Is seriously a health hazard, it's going to fall on someone's toe for sure and it's going to be a lawsuit.
