They have made this as simple as possible, yet still actually be a build-it toy.It could use a couple of wrenches to tighten the bolts.The ball is a little big for the standard space created by the spinning wheels.Just tilt the wheels outwards and it works OK.No real speed or force, but quite safe for anyone over the age of 9.

I attempted to make this kit with a young man age 13, who I mentor.the box was misleading in that it stated all you needed was batteries.In truth, you needed some kind of wire stripper and needle nose pliers would have been very helpful.We did manage to strip the wires as instructed, using a pair of scissors but we broke one of the connections trying to attach the wire.The manual dexterity to make this is more that the two of us had together.

My daughter is 6 mon old, and she loves this specific Elmo (but isn't as wild about other Elmos I have bought for her).The wonderful softness and size of this Elmo makes him her favorite toy, by far. It must have something to do with the material because she also adores her Classic Pooh blanket that has a similar texture. Right out of the box, my daughter was covered in Elmo's red "fur"...for any child who puts everything in their mouths (which is every child!) this is NOT a good plush.Within seconds, my daughter put it in her mouth...and ended up with a mouthful of red fur.We took our Dyson vacuum to him, and still, he was leaving fuzz everywhere...especially in her mouth.I see that Amazon has posted a warning "Not for children under 3", however, this item comes with a tag that states Ages 0 and up.And I linked to the Amazon site from the Gund site, so they are advertising it for children under three.In any case, while the plush is cute, its really for children who are past he putting everything in their mouth phase.And someone needs to decide the age appropriateness on this one....Gund is saying all ages, Amazon is not. Thomas & Friends: TrackMaster Risky Rails Bridge Drop

I bought this for my 5 year old nephew, who simply adores Thomas. It is based on the movie that will be released sometime this year. Even though it was fun seeing Thomas load the rocks at the quarry and then dropping off the bridge, it was hard to set it up. As an adult, I had difficulty setting it up and it is time-consuming. With that said, I don't mind it being time-consuming as long as it remains put together, but I noticed that the tracks didn't remain fitted together and every few minutes kept on popping off which in turn affected the assembly of the other tracks and subtracted the toy's overall enjoyability. The tracks from the other Trackmaster Sets are better than this one. Plus, for its price, it would have been nicer if Fisher-Price designed the crane to be brought back and forth along the zip line automatically instead of manually. My nephew no longer plays with this toy and uses some of the better-fitted tracks to create his own layout in conjunction with his other trackmaster set. I honestly don't recommend this Trackmaster. I hope you find this review helpful.

My 4 year old and I saw Thomas & Friends: Blue Mountain Mystery the Movie DVD at the theater and he loved it.He has always been fascinated by bridges and is forever acting out faling bridge scenes with his Thomas sets.Blue Mountain Mystery starts out with scenes from the Blue Mountain quarry, which is a narrow gauge quarry. Thomas And Friends Wooden Railway Rheneas, Thomas the Train: TrackMaster Skarloey, Thomas & Friends: Rusty to the Rescue, and other old-time narrow gauge engines are at the quarry, and start out the movie with a bridge collapse accident.

There are a couple of new characters introduced in the movie, including Merrick the quarry crane and Owen the quarry lift.Merrick is featured in this TrackMaster set and Owen is featured in the Take and Play set Thomas the Train: Take-n-Play the Great Quarry Climb.The box mentions that it is the tallest TrackMaster set and it is indeed tall.

We are more of a wooden railway family, but we have a couple of TrackMaster sets like Thomas the Train: TrackMaster Cranky and Flynn Save the Day Playset and the Misty Island TrackMaster set Thomas the Train: Zip, Zoom, and Logging Adventure).My son is more of a push-the-train railway maven, so he doesn't enjoy the motorized TrackMaster sets as much. To put that into perspective, he's played with his wooden sets for a year and a half, and the TrackMaster sets we've given him get about 3 weeks of play.I saw the Blue Mountain Mystery wooden set in stores but I don't yet see it on Amazon.

I have an "assembly required" scale of 1 to 10:

1 = my husband and I get divorced at the end of it.

10 = we sit back with a warm afterglow of teamwork and accomplishment as our son plays with it.

This is about a 6 on that scale.We didn't get on each other's nerves but it did take some time.Most of the tracks and pieces have letters and numbers on the bottom, and there is one page of the manual that has the b&w stick track layout on it with the numbers on each track and piece.I had the pile of pieces, and my husband would ask for each letter (a couple of pieces annoyed us by not having them!).It took about 20 minutes to get everything set up.Just as with Zip, Zoom, and Logging Adventure, you need a railway engineer to take care of the track once it is built.

We put an AA battery in Thomas and my husband ran our son through the interactive elements.First, we put the `boulder' in Thomas' car, then sent Thomas up the hill to the highest point.He is stopped there and my son was able to lift the top of the car and drop the boulder down a chute.He then tripped a switch that let Thomas continue on, hitting another switch that sent the boulder down the zipline.Thomas then comes around the bend to...BROKEN TRACK!The track collapses under Thomas' weight but of course, Thomas lands safely, accompanied by squeals and cheers all the way.Since it is hard to describe, I have included a video of the action.Just keep your eye on Thomas and not my son's messy playroom.=)

He was fascinated by the keystone coming loose in the movie and causing the bridge to collapse, and although this set doesn't have the keystone and bridge, he found a way to act out that part.There is a piece that clips on to a curving track near the top that gives it rock edges...he shakes the track and gives that a push and it falls off, while he says "oh no, the keystone fell out!"

PROS

-Lots of action

-Interactive elements for my son (switches to change tracks or stop Thomas, car with dumping mechanism, boulder (2 of them), zipline (with Merrick crane release switch), collapsing bridge)

-Huge set (note that although you see it in the video on our Thomas table, it doesn't fit the Thomas table...on the other side it was hanging over the edge supported by a Candyland box)

-It's a good representation of the quarry, complete with Merrick

CONS

-Takes a while to set up (20 mins)

-Some pieces don't have numbers/letters

-If you don't set it up right, which can be fairly easy since there are so many pieces, it will come loose and Thomas won't travel the rails correctly.I reversed two pieces and my husband had to fix it when we had problems.

-If your child doesn't enjoy being a railway engineer and putting things back together, he or she could get frustrated with this toy.

My son got this for his birthday..after the entire hour of fighting with instructions, parts, and keeping it together it was finally finished! My son put his trains on and as they went the whole thing collapsed. The pieces do not snap together well enough to keep the thing together. It is a waste money! I do not recommend buying this unless you plan on super gluing the pieces together.

Do not bother with this one.

First of all, it took FOREVER to set up. They need to hire some writers/diagram people who are native English speakers and who have decent art skills. I ended up using the picture on the box more than the diagram. There are so many pieces that it's completely ridiculous. Many of these pieces could have been made as one part, so I'm seriously questioning the intelligence of the person who designed this.

As your child plays, the set will come apart every single time Thomas climbs the hill or goes down the dropoff thing.In fact, when he goes over the dropoff he flips over and your child will have to manually set him back up. Basically the set doesn't work in the way it was designed at all.

It doesn't fit together well. There are pieces that are clearly mean to snap together, but instead just kind of loosely fit. They're wobbly and fall apart constantly.

There is one piece that constantly falls off and doesn't seem to serve any real purpose.

The set doesn't fit, so stuff isn't lined up correctly. And again, pieces don't snap together where they're supposed to. The tracks just kind of precariously balance on top of the tower things.

We were all nearly in tears by the time we got it put together, and were so hoping it would at least be worth it. Nope. As I said, the toy doesn't even work right once you put in all that time and effort.

Definitely DEFINITELY skip this one.Not worth the time or price and it's a piece of junk. Very disappointed kid on Christmas day.

()This is a great set, lots of fun for all ages and both genders, with plenty of opportunity for imaginative play.Like all of the Trackmaster sets, it can be configured a variety of ways and the parts integrated with other Trackmaster track to make even more train layouts.It comes with a Thomas engine and a side loading car to haul the two included "boulders." If there are any drawbacks, it is that is is BIG.You will need some floorspace to set this one up, probably around a 3 ft X 3ft space, not counting kid room.It's pretty tall, too, with two levels above floor level.It's worth the real estate though.There is a nifty zip line delivery system for the boulders, a chute they roll down to load into the zip tram, a pick-up station at the bottom of the "mountain", and of course the drop down bridge.The bridge isn't really so much a bridge as a ramp that drops the train down to the track one level below.We had a little trouble keeping the bridge aligned on multiple trips down at first.This is probably because we were set up on a thick textured carpet as well as the fact that the "conductors" were a bit rambunctious as they moved around the set to play.Even then, the high sides on the bottom track caught the drop well enough to allow the train to pass without a wreck.Once I tweaked our position on the rug, the problem was solved.My conductors are aged 18 mos. and 3 ½. (Small parts may not be suitable for all younger kids, we always have close supervision and have no problems.)The parts are easy to put together, both kids can do it, and they snap securely so clumsy toddler moves don't cause it to fall apart.I definitely needed the instructions, even after the first set-up.You'll want to keep them for a while with this set as there are some unique pieces that only assemble in one spot.The kids have spents hours playing with this, both alone and with others.They like to see how many trains they can get going at the same time without a pileup.Educational values include socialization, roleplaying, planning and visualization to assemble track layouts, cause and effect experiments.

Redline Victory 6-Feet Hockey Table

Just received my Redline Victory air hockey table and assembled it. Be warned this is a Chinese press board product put together with hot glue. All of the hot glue joints had separated. Rather than send it back I spent an hour regluing and adding screws to keep it together and beefing it up with a couple of 2X4's. It is now very sturdy although I might have to add some bracing for the legs. If you get one and don't rebuild it, do not lean on it! After I got it all together I found that one of the scoring sensors was not working. After another hour of working on it I was able to enlarge the sensor hole and get it working. This evolved disassembling the goal piece and drilling out the sensor aperture hole in the mount. So unless you have good carpentry skills and a working knowledge of electronics spend the extra money and get a quality table. It is fun to play after you rebuild it.

MEEP! Android 4.0 Kids Tablet

I tested this Meep tablet myself before handing it off to any kids to try, so this review is from an adult's point of view.

***EDIT 10/12/12: To readers with a Meep!: If you're having any kind of bugs or issues, please upgrade to the latest version of the OTA software (Version 1.2 on Oct 12, 2012), which fixed nearly all of the bugs and issues I have experienced with the Meep. To upgrade, tap on the lower right hand corner of the Meep where it says the time. Clicking on the time will pop up a little window, and there should be a tiny status update symbol that says something like "OTA update ready to download". Make sure your battery has a mostly-full charge, as it takes some time and juice to upgrade, then click on that and confirm you want it to download the upgrade. Once it seems to have finished everything, click the time again to see if any more upgrades are available, and repeat the process till you appear to be up to date (this entire process may take many days). You can check the version of your software by clicking the "Help" icon from the home screen.***

***EDIT 12/26/12: It appears that many people are experiencing problems with the new Meep! OTA software. I have not experienced these issues personally but if you are considering buying, you should absolutely read all of the comments on this review to see what many parents are having to deal with. It sounds like many of the latest updates have made things worse, not better, and have proven a mess for parents trying to get things set up.***

*Things I like about the Meep!:

Runs Android 4.

SD card slot for expansion.

VERY easy to get online initially. Came fully charged, thank goodness, and I was browsing the internet on my wifi connection in about three minutes, most of which was spent looking for my wifi password.

The orange part seen in the photo is just a silicone sleeve that is easy to remove or put back on. So if your kid's not a fan of orange, just take the sleeve off. Their site shows other colors of sleeve available for purchase, like pink and blue.

The voice control for typing is fantastic, just like my smart phone.

Liked that a lot of the games included are ones like Angry Birds that anyone can enjoy.

Cord to charge in an outlet is long and easy to use.

Can view the screen from any angle.

Integration with YouTube is now fully functional with Version 1.2 software, and I had a total blast watching Maru and other silly cat videos online.

I have not personally tested this, but it appears to have the capability of doing video chat. If you are a parent who travels, this could be a fun way of staying in touch with your kid and getting to see them on the nights you aren't home. Of course, you could always use Skype on the family computer, but this could be a way of getting in touch easily with your child without having to pre-arrange a time with your spouse.

*Things I don't like:

Lots of lag time between when you select an action and when it finishes loading. It can take a minute or more to start up, and 15-30 seconds to load the games screen or apps, or whatever.

The device feels overly heavy and I don't enjoy holding it up in one hand. I wanted to set it on my chest or on a table to use because of the weight. This may make it more durable, so it's possible this is a plus overall, but I disliked that.

The screen sits low, 1/4 inch under the front of the device. This is a benefit if your kids intend to drop and smash it a lot, as it protects the screen. However, it also makes it hard to push some of the controls. For example, when browsing the internet, I kept wanting to press a button right in the upper corner and it was tough to make the push register.

Speakers are on the back of the device, so they're directed at other people rather than the user.

The camera lens is on the front only, so it's hard to take pics/ video of something besides yourself. There's no screen on the back, so if you do turn the Meep around to take a photo or video, you also have to reach around to the front to snap the pic or start/ stop the video.

Video and photo quality is poor in comparison to smart phones and other tablets. (I've uploaded a video as an example, and you can see my photos at top to view quality.)

The orange sleeve makes it difficult to turn the device on or off, as it's a very thick sleeve and the button's set close against the device.

Cord to connect to computer is about eight inches long, which makes it tough to control while plugged into the computer.

Recommended for ages six and up, yet some of the apps on it are clearly for tiny kids. There's a "toddler songs" app which is clearly meant for, duh, toddlers and not the six and up crowd. The ebook "Muddypaws" is another thing that's meant for the littlies. When my niece was six she was reading books with lots of words, not storybooks with a sentence on each page.

In addition, clicking on the "Safety" section brings up horribly condescending safety instructions like "Be polite and kind to others" and "Do not make threats". Seriously? If someone is old enough to understand what making a threat is, does anyone think they'd be swayed by a little orange splat of a cartoon character telling them not to? They should have eliminated the "Safety" section as it's condescending and unhelpful.

If you have spotty internet service like I do, you may find that apps from Google Play don't fully install the first time same with the OTA upgrades, and this can be frustrating because the Meep doesn't deal with that gracefully. There are a few apps I have had to install a couple times before they'd work, and the OTA upgrades can take days because they seem to stop updating when there's a blip in internet service, yet the meep sits there acting like it's doing something (which it isn't). This isn't an issue I have with other devices, and it's frustrating.

Can't stream videos from my Amazon Unbox account because Amazon Unbox needs Flash, which apparently no Android device supports. This isn't the Meep's fault, but is something you should know before buying a tablet for a kid (My extensive Olivia collection in Unbox is apparently only good on my desktop!).

The online instructions and FAQ read like someone from another country created them, with numerous spelling and grammatical errors. When I think of a company like "Oregon Scientific", I like to hope that even if they do farm out the work overseas, that they'd at least take the time to EDIT the work that's done!

I don't like that they make you give a credit card number to sign up for the parental portal. This felt invasive. They charge the card $1 and give you 100 coins for that, which is enough to purchase an app in the Meep Store. There are a number of apps for 100 coins ($1), but many, such as the Spiderman app, are $3.

EDIT: 9/13/12 I called support (1-800-853-8883) for help with some of the issues I was having with the Meep, and it was a mess. The person on the other end did not speak English well, and did not have any idea how to do things as basic as check for the version number of the software or install the software (she had to put me on hold to look that up, and actually got it wrong before she got it right). She advised me that my early issues with the parental control portal were due to me using the wrong browser (I use Chrome), so I dutifully opened up a Firefox browser as advised, only for the Meep site itself to tell me to switch to Chrome! And of course, every time I asked a question, I got put on hold for two minutes while she figured out the answer. Then at the end, she told me she'd just signed me up for the Meep email newsletter. She didn't ask, she just told me she'd done it, and then acted snippy when I asked her to please UN-sign me up. Calling support took some time and was extremely frustrating.

Overall:

I like the concept of a children's tablet and see a lot of great potential here. I am relieved that most of the bugs I initially experienced with the Meep have been fixed with operating system upgrades that I've downloaded to the Meep, and in the two days I've been able to play with the Meep since then, I've been having a much better time using the Meep. I do feel their attitude towards offering support needs a major overhaul (read above). But the Meep seems exceptionally sturdy and with the latest updates to the software, it's a serious, if imperfect, addition to the tablet scene.

If your intention is to give it as a gift, I'd open it a week early and download all the upgrades (it took my Meep a number of days to fully upgrade) plus get the parental portal set up, so the gift will be fun and not frustrating.

Let me begin by saying that I have NEVER written a product review for ANYTHING in the past. I felt so strongly about my negative experience that I felt compelled to share it with any parents out there that are trying to decide which Tablet to buy their child. I tried to leave the "STARS" section of this review blank, but it won't let me. That's the only reason I gave this product ANY stars at all.

I was SO excited to get this tablet for my son for Christmas! The only thing he is asking Santa for is a Tablet. He does not have a preference of which one, so when I found this product I thought it would be perfect for his age level and it was the perfect price! UNFORTUNATELY, it was nothing but a piece of trash in a pretty box. First of all, if you are spending $150 on a kids toy, I fully expect that it should be up and running the second I take it out of the box. Not with the Meep! I had to spend HOURS trying to figure out how to install the system upgrades that are SUPPOSED to fix all of the original glitches. After 3 failed attempts and 2 resets back to factory settings I was finally able to install the upgrades successfully. I thought the rest of the road would be smooth sailing....NOPE! Even after the system upgrades, I was never able to figure out the Meep Store! I set up the accounts, but it would not let me purchase anything! It took FOREVER and a day to load anything...just kept THINKING, and THINKING, and THINKING. I could just envision my excited 5 year old opening this on Christmas morning and quickly becoming disappointed because everything took so long or froze up or didn't work...etc. Also, it only comes with 3 books preloaded and only 1 of those are "read to you" format. The games that it comes with are pretty silly. The only cool one being Angry Birds. I was under the impression that it came with more preloaded stuff. My advice? Save yourself HOURS of frustration and LOTS of sleep. (Since I had to work on this at night while the kids were sleeping...stayed up till well past 1 am 2 nights in a row trying to MAKE IT WORK!) Buy something that you KNOW will work. Personally, I decided to go with the Nook Color with a really cool Angry Birds case that I just KNOW my son will love! B & N just dropped the price of the Nook color to $139...with the case it will only cost about $20 more to go this route. Plus, since I already have a Nook of my own with lots of kids apps/books I will not have to rebuy anything. I almost went with the Naby 2, but decided to avoid ANY kids tablets only because this was such a disastrous experience. I want to have peace of mind that the product I choose will work well.

Just discovered this product and bought one for my 9 year old son; great price! I thought he may be a little old, but he loves it. Has a bigger screen than his Itouch so it is better for games and movies. He has a lot of fun downloading the apps and games. Would recommend Meep to anyone with kids who does not want to spend a lot on an Ipad, and wants to have a say over what their child can access.

()This sounded like a great idea for kids who wanted a tablet but you as a parent wanted to limit them from going to places or seeing things they shouldnt.The tablet starts fine and works ok but it freezes quite often and you have to restart the whole tablet.Also the battery life is not the greatest as it works anywhere from 6 to 8 hours.

Also as of right now you cant access the parent account or the MEEp store.It was supposed to go online Sept 1st then that moved to Sept 4th. It is still not open as of Sept 5th.So you are limited to the games that are preloaded such as Angry Birds, Uno, and about 10-15 others that are just demo versions.So right now you cant download anything new but hopefully they have everything up and running shortly.It sounds like you will be limited to downloading from the MEEP store and some game from GOOGLE PLay store.Was hoping you could use the amazon app store so I wouldnt have to repurchase games.

Last the price seems a little high to me. At around $150 I would just get a KIndle fire or another lowend tablet.Plus you have the possibility of a new kindle coming out or a new lower priced Ipad.

Overall It is a little fun and the Parental Controls are a great feature but for the price and the bugs I would look elsewhere.

I had read all the bad reviews and some the few good ones.It seemed like to me it was a little tricky to setup and I was thinking that maybe they weren't as computer literate as me???I decided to go ahead and order 2 of them for my boys I got a GREAT deal on them from Kohls with 30% off, Kohls Cash and received $40 Kohls Cash for buying them.So I thought it was worth the gamble to see if I liked them...Kohls takes anything back(Just checked...Kohls no longer has it available.)IN THE END...I DID FEEL IT WAS WORTH IT but may have wanted to throw it out the window during the set up.

The setup process was HORRIBLE!I signed up for an account which I had to wait for a reply email to verify my email address.This took 5 HOURS for the reply email to come.You are unable to access internet and all the settings are extremely High security, until you log into the Meep site and pay $1 to verify your over 18??!??

While I was waiting I went ahead and changed the time, time zone, etc...DO NOT DO THIS!!You have to leave the settings as is until you to the OTA Download (Over the Air)

So finally 5 hours after I first tried to log in I got the email, The only web browsers you can use are Google Chrome and one other one.It will not allow you to pull the the Meep site with Explorer or Firefox.This was a pain.You will also have to enter in the Serial Number, which is on a sticker on the back of it.This is crazy too I think it had to be in all caps and it was hard to find out if it was a 0 or O, I or l, etc...Then once you get it entered correctly...it will tell you that there is an ERROR HOWEVER this is apparently what you want!lol Then when you receive the error message you will then be able to go on and log in...FINALLY.

Do not ignore the OTA setup video when you login.This is very important.Once you figure out how to do the Upgrade you will then be able to change the settings so the Meep is able to get online, watch You Tube Videos, etc...There are several pre-loaded games, angry birds, etc...

I AM SO HAPPY THAT THE SETUP IS FINALLY COMPLETE.I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW HORRIBLE IT WAS AT FIRST...I HOPE THAT MY REVIEW WILL HELP YOU SET YOURS UP.I'm a little jealous that my boys have one and I don't, lol.I think this is an excellent tablet for the price I paid and overall I am very happy I ordered it.So post setup I love the MEEP!!

I'm also very glad I didn't toss them out the window during the setup process.

Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure Paint Your Own Statue

My wife purchased two different sets (a Rapunzel/Tiana Set and a Tinkerbell/Silvermist Set) for my two daughters (ages 3 and 6) and their friends for a birthday sleepover art project.Overall, the girls had fun painting them, but from a parent's perspective, they could be much better.

The statues look nice and the paint went on pretty well, but the end result can be pretty messy.The girls had fun doing the painting, but I don't see them as a long term keepsake.

The primary frustration is that all of these sets are mass produced, as expected, and there is little thought put into the paint colors that are needed to match each character.All of the sets come with the same set of 6 paint colors (red, yellow, blue, green, white & black) in a small strip of tiny canisters that are all attached together.They also come with instructions how how to mix these standard colors to get colors that are needed for the included characters.The problem is that the complex instructions can require 3 or more colors in varying amounts.For example, to get the Purple color you needed for Rapunzel's dress, you had to mix all the red paint, all the blue paint, and one third of another color.This is pretty complex for a kid to do perfectly (even with adult help).Maybe you get the right color, but once you make the purple, you no have no red or blue paint left to use on any other parts of the statue.And if a kid doesn't mix it perfectly, now all you have is a mess with no extra.In addition, Tiana's dress was so large, that there wasn't enough green paint to cover it, so we had to use the green from one of the other sets.If we didn't have another set, we'd be out of luck.Getting skin tones for the Princesses and the Fairies was even more complicated to mix.

Long story short, if you're just looking for something for your kids to do and don't really care about making the statues look like the cartoons, this is probably fine.If your child is a perfectionist and wants to make the faces and colors match their favorite characters, you could be in for some trouble.In my opinion, it would have been nice if the manufacturer customized the paint colors for the characters in the box.I'm sure they did it this way to save money, but what you end up with is a mediocre throw-away product.

Otherwise, it comes down to this: These are good little statuettes, but if you want the final painted appearance to be anything like the way they look on TV (or on the box, for that matter), you'll want to buy a set of good non-glossy paints and at least one good, fine-tipped brush. Since you can get these quite inexpensively (can I say I got mine at Hobby Lobby?), I think this product is still a good buy. Just one figurine this size that comes pre-painted can cost much more than this set. You may not be able to make these look that good, but the fun of painting and the knowledge that you did it yourself can make this worth more in sentimental value. I'm assuming you enjoy painting and have some patience and talent (or whomever you plan to give it to has those qualities). There are some slight differences between the poses pictured on the box (and helpful painting guide inside) and the way the statuettes actually look (of course the artificial stone wings can't be paper-thin and transparent), but I'm only a dabbler in art and I am very happy with how mine turned out.

Some details: The reason you should buy another set of paints is that the paint provided dries with a glossy finish. This is fine for the wings, Silvermist's glossy black hair, and maybe Silvermist's shoes and even her dress, but it doesn't look so good for their skin, or Tinkerbell's hair and dress. It might serve for a young child who's more interested in doing the painting than having the end result look really good. Likewise, if you want to get the eyes and other facial features looking good, you'll want a finer brush than either of those supplied. Getting the facial details right takes more skill and patience than most young children can muster anyway. So that's your call, now that you've been informed. I could also note that the paint in the first set I got was almost all dried up beyond use, but I got that some time after Christmas so it may have been sitting around for a long time after leaving China. Another advantage of getting a set of paints is that you could find one with a good skin tone or two already mixed, along with other natural colors.

Finally, I'd like to say these comments probably apply to other Disney statue-painting kits, although the glossy paint would work fine on Cars, which also wouldn't need to have fine details painted. If they would make a kit with other Disney fairies (perhaps Iridessa and Fawn), or two of my favorite princesses (Belle and Ariel? Jasmine and Mira Nova?), I would certainly buy that kit, too.

My daughter was so enthusiastic about this gift.She loves Tinkerbell and she loves to paint.The statues were in good shape and are very detailed.The box comes with two sets of paint each one has about 6 or 7 colors.In our box, both sets of paint were dried up except the blue and green.She was very disappointed.We found some water colors to give her a little more variety and to enhance her painting experience, but the end result was not that visually appealing.

This bookshelf is exactly what I hoped it would be.Books are displayed in an appealing way. The shelf takes up very little space and is sturdy and non-tipping.When visiting children come into the room they gravitate to the bookshelf and sit down to play and look at books.This is definitely a great addition to my granddaughter's bedroom.

My son has so many books it's hard to find something to do with them all. We put all his dinosaur books on this display and it's great! He can see the book he wants and it's easy to put back unlike a regular bookshelf. It's sturdy, great quality, real wood, and fairly easy for my fiance to put together for me lol. It looks good. It is a pain to put together because the decorative piece on the back fits on by means of a groove into which you are supposed to cram two pieces of plywood. Unless you can successfully put these pieces in all along the width of the shelf, the screws to the shelf sides will be in the wrong place. So since it is plywood you can expect at least one piece to be warped. Enough said. One of the other screw holes did not line up on one side, so I ended up leaving the screw out rather than risk coming through the laminate. I will buy another brand for my other child's room.

Harvil 7 Foot Triple Flip 3-in-1 Game Table

Good features with all three games we wanted: air hockey, pool and ping pong. Placed order that was supposed to arrive within 10 days but after 7 days didn't receive shipping confirmation. We called Dazadi who claimed they never received order from Amazon. Called Amazon who said that was not true and they sent again to vendor. Vendor never contacted us back despite multiple calls and emails. Few days later FedEx called to arrange delivery by semi truck to home.W eventually received product via tailgate drop at curb on one large skid that weighed over 300 lbs. Dazadi doesn't mention this important info anywhere.

We've been playing for about two weeks. Air hockey is nice and works well although power cord too short. Pool is decent with all accessories included but cloth damages easily. Table rotates well but black frame finish scratches. Ping pong lay on table ok and is two pieces with seam under net where it belongs. Overall satisfied with product as decent value but beware of purchasing through Dazadi.
