This is a nice shaker; seems to be well-made with higher quality felt lining than usual. The seller/shipper sent it without the packaging shown in the product image--not a big deal, just thought it worth mentioning.On the other hand, the dice shown in the picture to me look like cheap, low-end quality but the dice the seller sent in my cup are actually pretty nice for "gimmes" -not like the ones shown here, but amber-colored, heavy, well-pipped dice...almost like precision dice.
If you're serious about your dice games and are looking for the right balance between quality and price, this shaker is a good bet.
I wanted to buy a Yahtzee game for friends who live overseas. I was unimpressed with the cheap plastic cup and dice that come with the boxed game. I could not imagine my adult friends playing with the loud clacking of the dice in the tacky blue cup.
I used this cup, a box of Yahtzee score cards and a copy of the rules I printed from the internet to make a nice looking game set that I was proud to give.
It is very nice listening to the dice lightly click in this good quality cup.

Received this item as a gift. The specifications made the product sound like a quality gift, but the felt lining is falling away from the plastic cup before being used in a game. I don't know how to judge the quality of die, but they are usable and serve the purpose.Overall, I'm not impressed by the dice cup but for the price it gets the job done.

I bought this item for 5 grand daughters ages ranging from 3-6 they all loved it. It was easy to assemble once we got through the first one.. Can You Imagine Melting Clock
This clock is a good size and really looks awesome. The only thing misleading about it is that there is a large plastic bubble covering it, which looks terrible and is conveniently hidden in all the product pictures because of the clever angles they take the photos from.Luckily, its very easy to remove this plastic piece from the back, if you use a small screwdriver. The only downside to that is that eventually the clock will get dusty.
This item is smaller than I had thought and made of plastic. I guess I had looked at so many things lately maybe I didn't read the description to well but I thought it would be made of glass and metal, not all around plastic. It does not rest on the area I had wanted it to, above my fireplace on the mantle, as it need the bottom of the clock to rest on a wall. A little disappointed but I still really like the idea and my husband found a new place to put it. So even though it is not as I thought, it is the only one of it's kind right now and I do still like it.

This George Nelson replica design is of less quality than many others on the market and comes with an inferior quartz movement that (in my case) did not keep time. Tried 3 new AA batteries but it ran very slow, losing 15 mins every hour. If you are picturing a melting clock the size of one of those standard wall ones that are 12 inches or so diameter you are going to be very sorry....This clock is very cheap and very light.It is also very small.I love the idea of this clock because I have the painting in a poster form and thought it would be a good decor choice to go with.I have it on a book shelf but it's been blown over by the fan and dropped to the chair beside the shelf.Fortunately it didn't break. This is a very cute set but it is ridiculously overpriced. If you shop LEGO(dot)com, this item sells for $5.99. That is not their sale price but the ordinary price. Look carefully at the pictures; this set only has 45 pieces.I love LEGOs but Amazon seriously mislead consumers on what they were getting in regard to the value they are (or rather are not) offering.
My daughter was excited when she saw the Friends line in our Lego catalog and she was not dissappointed when we purchased a few of the sets.She has the outdoor bakery, tree house and designer studio.She enjoyed having a book to guide her building.She has added the two sets to houses I made and her city pizza shop.I like the fact that the set appeals to what is important to her...accessories and creative play.So far we are happy with the 'friends'.

My two daughters have both loved Legos but wished for more female minifigures.When Lego finally came out with a line targeted specially to girls, why did they make the characters incompatible with the traditional minifigs??Sometimes I feel like the toy industry conspires to make sure boys and girls don't play together.(Remember how GI Joes used to be on scale with Barbies? I wish these Legos existed when my daughters were younger I would have bought these over Polly Pockets in a heart beat! What you need to know:
1. These are fully compatible with all other Lego sets.
2. The colors are customized for girls, especially the girly-girls or princess girls.
3. The people are different than normal Lego people in that the legs are connected and bend just below the hip, the heads are shaped more rounded than the normal Lego head, and the arems are more slender with hands that are not rotatable or or changeable.
4. This set is basically a single person and a few Lego pieces that can make a bakery for your Lego Friends city.
This is a great set for those of us who have girls and want to get something more creative and customizable than most girl toys. Highly recommended.

Perfectly true to the TV game show, this board game is sure to bring hours of enjoyment.The questions are a fraction easier than those on the actual show, but by no means are they easy questions!You'll be impressed by how much you know and you'll joke about the off-the-wall questions that no one would know the answer to.It's a great game at a reasonable price.My family and I love it!
People who play "Jeopardy" fall into two catagories... Those who play to prove how smart they are. And, those who play and fail to show how smart they are. Pressman, in re-releasing this game yet again, has done a good job of putting together a decent home version of the classic. The board is well done and the questions give a good range of general knowledge so everyone can play without feeling too intimidated.
Jeopardy! is a true part of Americana and has been for nearly 25 years.This game, with material previously used in season 17 (2000-2001), will put your smarts to the ultimate test with categories such as Citizenship Test and Crossword Clues 2nd Letter "U", and Birth of a President to Footnotes to History, it's almost the same game that's played in the studio!

This game is fun, however there are two downsides.
1the "clickers" are nothing more then a super version of a snapple cap. meaning it makes the same noise if you press the popped top of a snapple can. which makes it virtually impossible to tell who "buzzed" first.
2There is a lot of set-up before the game and in between rounds. This game is not for the lazy or impatient of people. You have to set up each money value every time. and as a side note, there is no distinct "final Jeopardy".
the good side to this product is the fact that the questions are fun and challenging, if played in a group it can actually be very entertaining.The game board is too small and the translucent blue plastic is too dark to read through.
Whoever designed this really didn't check out the final product.The answers on the game board are teeny tiny print that would be readable except for two obstacles:
1The blue plastic screen that covers them is too dark so three people must struggle to read miniature black letters on a dark blue background.
2The rounded tops of the dollar amount slides cover up the bottom line of type on longer answers.
For a game aimed at smart people, this is a stupidly designed product.

Little Leaps Grow-with-Me Learning System
There are other reviews on here that complain of lengthy set-ups. It took me 3 minutes tops. I was even worried about it because I don't have a normal DVD player, we have a Sony Playstation 2. It works great! My son got this for his 1st birthday (yesterday) and I set it up today. I don't think he's really ready for the interaction yet. I was a little disappointed that there are only sample games on these disksyou have to go out and buy the games seperately. A bummer, since the system was $40. But overall,it is good so far. I'll update when my son is able to use the system better. Don't be scared off by the reviews.
I have a 9 month old and a 2.5 year old and since this toy claims to be for ages 9 months 3 years, I figured it would be perfect for both of them. It can be played in baby mode with some simple big buttons for babies or in toddler mode with a joy stick. You can purchase games for either mode.
Our baby has been playing with it in baby mode and there are several nice games available for that.
The toddler mode is disappointing though. First of all, there's only 1 game available for toddler mode. Second, the joy stick is a bit hard to use. Even I sometimes have a hard time getting it to select something. There's a bit of a delay between selecting something and your selection showing up on the tv, so you have to have the patience to move the joy stick and wait for a bit. That's tough for a toddler to do. The toddler game that we have is also very simplistic. We have computer games for him that are more interactive than that. If you have a computer, I'd recommend just getting some toddler computer games instead.
On the plus side, set-up was very easy for us and we don't have a major brand name dvd player.

After reading the other reviews of this product I was worried about setup issues but we got it up and running in a small amount of time.
We went through each of the three sample games (two baby and one toddler
) with my 1 year old.He did not have the attention span to actually hit the buttons to play but he enjoyed the music and characters.We tried the second cd that came in a paper sleeve and discovered a no interaction version of sample games/activities.He loved this video because it was continuous.We will watch this until he is familiar and then try the interactive games. So far I would recommend this product.The characters were so cute and the music was great.

We saw the commercial for this toy, but are a bit disapointed after receiving it and getting it set-up. First, regarding set-up -skip the "Quick Set-Up Guide."The "Quick Set-Up Guide" leaves out an important step -press the big, red button while the green light is still flashing. Save yourself the frustration. Put in the DVD that comes with the system, and follow the set-up guide on the DVD (you'll need to have the quick set-up codes for your DVD player ready). That said, we did manage to get it set-up after some frustration.Set-up took more than 5 minutes, though! It works fine with our Cyberhome DVD player. The "game controller" is basically a remote control of sorts for your DVD player.The "game" (DVD) operates on a pause/play basis.The DVD will play for a few minutes, showing your child some new concepts, and then, it will pause and ask your child to press a button to continue/help/hear the answer/etc. Your child can press any of 3 large colorful buttons on the "game controller" to get the "game" to continue. The yellow button slides a bit. The blue button is similar to a light switch -it can be pushed up or down, and is used for scrolling through items on the DVD/game menus. The red button is a standard button, and is used for selecting items from the menus. The problem with the "game" is that it's slow. Baby has to watch several minutes of the program and wait to be asked to press a button (any button will do). My 17 1/2 month old doesn't have the patience to sit, watch, and wait to be asked to press a button. She wants to press all the buttons all the time right now! She pressed the buttons like she was playing the piano until she was tired of that, and then, had more fun climbing all over me like I was a jungle gym as we sat on the couch together. She did not have the attention span to sit through an entire "game" patiently as is intended. The play aspect of the "game" is just too slow. Although I must say that some of the characters ARE cute, and she did enjoy the Baby Cam (from "Say It Baby") through the park with the baby's eye view where she got to identify some of her favorite animals & vehicles -duck, dog, cat, train, & plane. But I still had to keep the game controller away from her until it was time to press a button. (Baby Cam is one of the samples on the DVD that comes with the system.) Do yourself a favor if you buy this game system & buy a game or two to go along with it. You'll be disappointed in the "sample games" that come with the system. They're just a few samples from the actual games. For what you're getting, it gets expensive when you start adding games to the system. We're sure that she'll never use the toddler mode due to the slow pacing. By the time she's that advanced, we'll need to buy her a better game system that's more interactive and more responsive. If your child has the patience to sit, watch for 2-3 minutes or more, wait to be asked to press a button, & watch patiently some more, then you & your child may enjoy this together. If you don't expect too much, then you might not be disappointed.

I guess I can't give it zero stars? What a disappointing waste.worst toy ever. The suction cups are cheap and don't work at all... no, it's not my surface.. they are defective: flimsy and curled on the edges.There are no instructions included in the package, so I'm not exactly sure how you are supposed to make the goalie stand up, but it looks like they expect you to stick one of the suction cups to his cardboard back and balance him against a plastic rod... it just doesn't work.The best you might be able to do is permanently glue the goalie to the plastic rod, but then he won't fit in the carry net.There is nothing fun about this toy.Create a goal post with you fingers and have a friend flick a crumpled piece of paper at you it is much less frustrating.

Barbie Dinner To Dessert Dining Room Set
I picked this dinner table and chairs up for my daughter's dollhouse since she didn't have one or much furniture for her house to be exact.It was on sale here and for a table and two chairs I thought it wasn't bad as she needed some more furniture and less dolls in that huge dollhouse of hers!What I love about it is its really easy for her to put the chairs together when they come apart, and that the table flips around, the underside changing to topside, dinner to dessert, such a cool and fun concept for the kids!She loves twisting the centerpiece and making that happen as well!What I dislike is that the chairs are flimsy and come apart constantly, but again, she can easily reassemble them herself and I guess they can store easier this way, a positive way to look at it!I love the roses and vase that came with it, so pretty!And all the little silverware is nice, the napkins were a very nice touch as well.Very pretty little set, very cute, nice and pink which my daughter loves, my biggest complaint was that it is just kind of flimsy (chairs).But definitly worth it and not cheaply made and not cheap at all, the chairs pop right back together and it isn't as cheap as some like the knock off furniture, it is definitly worth getting.
I bought this for the Barbie house and the kids don't really play with it because everytime a barbie comes 'to the table' the sides of the table collapse and everything falls on the floor. Also it is cute that you can turn the centerpiece and either plates or frosted cupcakes come up, but there is no room on the the table for them to play dinner. Thy have to set the sides which cause the table to collapse and the sides fall off. The plastic chairs are way too lightweight for a barbie that weight more than a few ounces. Now I know why the other furniture came with a Barbie that didn't weight anything... it was like a first class mail envelope.
It's really cute, but they make believe with the living room furniture and the bedroom furniture more than the dining room table.
