Stiga Minnesota Wild Table Rod Hockey Players
One of the advantages of the stiga hockey game is that you can get your favorite teams, you can play all the rivalries that you can find in the NHL, the players have better paint jobs now and they are easier to switch from the game board than before. Still every now and then you get a player that has to be tweaked in your workshop to make it able to hit the puck better or fit the pegs in the rods.
These were awesome and fit right in with the rod hockey table I have, also I am a huge WILD fan so that made it even better.

This toy is just darling.I got it for my 6 month old g-daughter who puts everything in her mouth.It is so cute with a special compartment where the cloth animals fit out of sight.Her older brothers 4 and 6 appreciate it as well and know more about Noah's Ark.
I purchased this for a baptism gift along with a book.It was very nice.Soft and animals are a good size for baby to hold.I think there will be a lot of play for this when quiet toys are needed.One animal does squeak but it is not overly loud.

Perfectly true to the TV game show, this board game is sure to bring hours of enjoyment.The questions are a fraction easier than those on the actual show, but by no means are they easy questions!You'll be impressed by how much you know and you'll joke about the off-the-wall questions that no one would know the answer to.It's a great game at a reasonable price.My family and I love it!
People who play "Jeopardy" fall into two catagories... Those who play to prove how smart they are. And, those who play and fail to show how smart they are. Pressman, in re-releasing this game yet again, has done a good job of putting together a decent home version of the classic. The board is well done and the questions give a good range of general knowledge so everyone can play without feeling too intimidated.
Jeopardy! is a true part of Americana and has been for nearly 25 years.This game, with material previously used in season 17 (2000-2001), will put your smarts to the ultimate test with categories such as Citizenship Test and Crossword Clues 2nd Letter "U", and Birth of a President to Footnotes to History, it's almost the same game that's played in the studio!

This game is fun, however there are two downsides.
1the "clickers" are nothing more then a super version of a snapple cap. meaning it makes the same noise if you press the popped top of a snapple can. which makes it virtually impossible to tell who "buzzed" first.
2There is a lot of set-up before the game and in between rounds. This game is not for the lazy or impatient of people. You have to set up each money value every time. and as a side note, there is no distinct "final Jeopardy".
the good side to this product is the fact that the questions are fun and challenging, if played in a group it can actually be very entertaining.The game board is too small and the translucent blue plastic is too dark to read through.
Whoever designed this really didn't check out the final product.The answers on the game board are teeny tiny print that would be readable except for two obstacles:
1The blue plastic screen that covers them is too dark so three people must struggle to read miniature black letters on a dark blue background.
2The rounded tops of the dollar amount slides cover up the bottom line of type on longer answers.
For a game aimed at smart people, this is a stupidly designed product.

Thomas And Friends Wooden Railway - Thomas the Tank Engine
Of course, there are a million versions of Thomas out there, and I think we own most of them, including the battery-powered, plastic Tomy sets that run on plastic tracks.But these little wooden trains by Learning Curve are just the ticket for young children to tote along with them to restaurants, banks, the paint store -all those places we all hated to go as kids but as adults can't seem to stop dragging our own kids to.They're sturdy, detailed, accurate depictions of the famous British tank engine and his friends, and they are quiet and kid-powered, so they can be taken out and played with anywhere.They are small enough to fit in whatever your child uses as a tote.They have magnets on the front and back, too, so he or she can link several of them together to keep play interesting.
I believe there is also a type of track that is designed for use with this toy, but we preferred to stick with the platic Tomy set for that activity and use these Learning Curve toys as the perfect travel mates.
I have ordered many of these and the wooden kind a very sturdy,i have liked them all and my grandchildren have gotten many hours of playtime with these,i will definitely purchase more.

We have a 2+ year old who LOVES his Thomas the Tank stuff... and this engine is no exception. It is built well enough to handle being played with (by a 2 year old, no less) on a daily basis, carried around in a diaper bag (it's the perfect size restaurant toy), and has been dropped out of our car onto the driveway on more than one occasion and still is no worse for the wear. Highly recommended!

Guidecraft Little Farm House Rocking Chair
I am glad that I did not pay full price for this! I saw it elsewhere for more than double what it was on amazon! The paint design is very cute but also kind of cheap lookingI doubt it'll hold up without chipping off once my daughter is old enough to use it.Also it was a pain to put together.The instruction manual wasn't helpful because I had to put it together in different stages than the way they listed in order to get it to actually fit! I thought I was going to have to return it because I couldn't get the backrest portion to fit in the holes.One side would seat in but the other side would rest on top of the seated portion.Finally, my husband decided to bolt it in to see if that would help pull the backrest downand it did, so we were able to keep it.It's very sturdy for a child, so that is good.Overall I think it's okay for the price.I'm happy enough with it to not return it.

i am so disapointed in this product. cute chair online, cute design, poor quality in detail and woodworking skills. when i recd it the boxes looked like someone had ordered the same thing as i did, didnt like it either and sent it back and all someone did was tape boxes back together, very poorly so i could already tell this was not going to be a good purchase. it's to bad, my grandson loves farm animals and i know he would of loved it.guess it's back to square one.

When I read all of the bad reviews for this Gen X classic board game, I just laughed! Especially the review about the young child that played this game and got so nervous because of the buzzer that he/she threw up!Then... I wondered about the world we live in...Who would have thought that a simple game like Hasbro's Operation could make a person question the social decline of the next generation?Firstly, Gen Y parents... This is a game for 6 to 12 year olds. it's called "reading the front of the box before you buy".
Secondly, the pieces and the cavities that the pieces fit in are the EXACT same size, made of the EXACT same plastic, and is an EXACT duplicate of the game board I owned in the 70's, so stop your GEN Y whining!
The object of the game is to practice, have a steady hand and beat your opponent.It ISN'T SUPPOSED TO BE EASY!Just like the Gen Y's offspring is being taught today if it's too difficult, too scary, too loud, too ANYTHING, then it's just OK to throw it down and give up. What a wimpy generation we soon will have running this country in 25 to 30 years.
I had three kids, ages 6 to 12 over to our house and got out this game for them to play with.I helped the 6 year old some but all three ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!Obviously, they are the exception to the rule among the children being raised today...
Cavity Sam is the patient and you are pitted against your opponent with "doctor" cards that describe what part of the body to operate on and if successful, get paid.If your oppponent isn't successful, you get the next shot at the same body part but with a "specialist" card. Specialist, of course, get more money for operations than do doctors.If you touch the sides of the body cavity with the tweezers, Sam's nose lights up and a loud buzzer sounds.The person with the most money in completed operations wins!
This also teaches kids about body parts, reading, and to establish some great hand/eye coordination.Much more than, oh... let's say a Game Boy or an X Box would.Great family fun!Two "D" batteries not included...

Like a lot of people, I have fond memories of this classic game.Our cousins had it, and we were always excited when we visited them so we could play, but if we did anything to annoy them they wouldn't bring it out.Oh yes.Good times.
So we got the game out of nostalgia and we have enjoyed it.The pieces are all here -wishbone, breadbasket, wrenched ankle, broken heart -12 in all.They are smaller than I remember, but that may or may not reflect reality.It runs on 2 D batteries, and when they run low the buzzer stops working.There's no on/off switch.My kids (ages 4 and 5) really loved this game. I purchased it for them because I remember playing it as a child and thought they would enjoy it. Something inside of me feels good when I see my kids playing these "classic" games. The pieces are small and not recommended for very small children. My daughters had trouble successfully reaching the object of the games which is pulling the game pieces from the patient without setting off the buzzer, but they didn't experience frustration with this because the buzzer was hilarious to them! They would have set it off on purpose anyway!

I can't believe all the negative comments on here.First of all you don't get shocked, it's a vibrating game.NO SHOCK! I also agree with Sheila.People now-a-days expect everything to be easy, well this game is challaging, and it's fun.My kids 5 and 7 loved this game(as well as mom and dad).It is not an easy game so if that is what you're looking for play duck, duck, goose.This is a game that requires patience and a steady hand. My kids learned to slow down, life doesn't have to happen in a second (unless it's my five year old that is too young to play and he is just going in for the buzzer...haha).And by the way who said operating on someone was easy?If you can take the time to slow down and have a good laugh this is a GREAT game.
My kids are rough on games and we have had no problems with it. The only thing is the pieces are very small and easily lost so keep them in a baggie.

()I cannot lie my two year old son is a brute with his toys.His wiring is sufficiently different from his older sisters' that we never question which is stronger, nature v. nurture.Toys are for throwing, banging, crashing, smashing, crunching, and tossing.
So we try to be careful before we get the kid another toy will it survive the first ten minutes out of the box?
The Busy Town Activity Center is both durable and entertaining.The box is made of wood no cheap plastic here.On the top are those colored wires with wooden beads that our son loves to slide around its one of those toys that he can get lost in for ten to fifteen minutes.
The four side walls of the box are also separate "toys," if you will.One wall has "doors" with paintings inside for "peek a boo" games.Another has the alphabet on wooden tiles that flip.The third side has spinning tiles with animal/insect shapes. And the fourth has three curvy vertical "tracks" where you can race wooden vehicles.
It's a great toy for a little kid.They've got short attention spans at this age, so it's not like the toy has to hold them for hours.But it's durable as heck, the colors are attractive, and there's enough variety that kids don't get bored with it.We've had a couple of play dates where this toy has been extremely popular, so it's not limited just to our kid.
Is this a perfect, must-have toy?No.But is it a well-made, enjoyable one?Sure you could do a lot worse.(Best part no batteries!!!!!!!!)

This cube is extremely dangerous for little fingers!!! The top row of the small cubes (with alphabet and pictures) is very close to the cube's base. I wonder why noone noted this in their reviews. My toddler got stuck his finger 3 times already, before I removed this cube, he was screaming really hard and it caused him a lot of pain! Power Babo is totally awesome! The attention to detail (Xs for eyes under the mask) by these designers is absolutely brilliant. However, a big fuss was made about these "selling out" at SDCC and they were going for $50 or more at random booths at NYCC. Head on to Amazon and at the time I purchased, he was LESS than the usual price for this size Uglydoll. Thought that was a bit unfair to those who may have actually paid the price following SDCC thinking that they were sold out, but I suppose there's not much that Gund/Uglydoll can do about it.
