Why I Should Test/Review Products Before Production #1:This product, despite the cover is NOT made for children BECAUSE, quite plainly, it is too smart for most people under the age of 12. As a school teacher, I would know.
Specifically, this product is NOT a wise purchase for a child BECAUSE:
1) It puts dry-erase markers right next to regular markers, so they are easily confused.
2) The dry-erase board doubles as a normal easel, so a ruined board ruins the entire stand, it's entire appeal.
3) It IS portable, but in order to be so portable, the clever design is too complicated for children to get used to or use properly; it takes an elaborate unfolding & refolding process to even set it up or take it down.
4) The markers/pencils are SMALL and will not fit unless placed precisely, so a child will not place them back neatly, thus destroying its portability.
5) The markers/pencils are an NON-STANDARD SIZE, so even if said "child" is smart enough not to ruin it in the first 30 minutes, the markers/pencils will run out and be irreplaceable.
All that to say, I understand why it was marked down to $11 at my local Office Max and is awesome for a thrifty gal like me. ;D

Lol It was a special touch, to a special celebration and men and women couldn't stop saying how "Awesome" "Cute" it was.Big plus if the cake looks like a football or a football field...it adds that extra something that every football party needs.I would purchase again!

Edu Science Land & Sky 360 Tabletop Refractor Telescope - Blue
My wife purchased this toy for my son at our local TRU. Out of the box it was missing the sky charts, the manual and the CD. Additionally, the knob and screw assembly to attach the telescope to the tripod is about 1/4 inch short (5 millimeters).I called to see if I could order the parts, but the agent wasn't interested in even knowing what product I had. I guess there are no parts available. Boo, TRU.
Armed with a larger screw for the mount, I assembled the scope to the tripod. The product actually works nicely for its price point. This product delivers a clear image of distant objects. The adjustment knobs are bright silver and well machined. The product also includes a pair of storage tube for the eye pieces.
The tripod is made for children and should be used on a bench or table. It has central arms for stability.
All and all, for $20-30, it isn't that bad if you can get over the missing pieces. Nothing that was missing was a deal breaker.

A short video review.Definitely read the description and other reviews carefully before buying.Lipper fully discloses the size of the table as well as the seat height to the table height.Some reviewers said their 2-3 year olds like the table, but I see this as more of a child's set than a toddler set.We had to go through two sets as the first set came incomplete and badly packaged, along with damage to the corner of the tabletop.It almost looked like someone returned it, and it was reshipped either by Amazon or Lipper.In this video, you'll see some issues we had with what we thought was pretty poor quality (drilling a hole, then redrilling and covering up the initial mistake), a slight wobble (annoying to the anal like my husband!) and differences in chairs in case you are considering buying additional chairs.I hope this helps!Overall, the product I'd rate 3 stars, but quality control seems poor enough to rate it two stars not fun for your frustration level if you get a bad set and BOTH our sets had issues.
I'm impressed with how strong and sturdy it is. I frequently sit at the table with my son while we work on projects and feel perfectly comfortable putting my full weight (I'm not a small person) onto the chair. As a matter of fact, we routinely use the chair as a "step-stool" to get things off of his high shelves. The chairs set firmly on the floor -I can't remember anyone ever falling over in one. It gets used on a regular basis and I haven't noticed any scratches or scuffs. (We have the Pecan finish.) It is also quite attractive with a classic simple design. My son especially likes the little shelf area under the table-top where he stores his markers and drawing paper. I like that it blends nicely with our other Craftsman style furniture and does not look cheap. I put the table together by myself with no problems and two years later have never had to tighten any of the bolts.
I would agree with some of the reviewers that this table is more to scale for a primary-school age child and not so much for a toddler. But personally I like the size. Although his feet didn't touch the floor while sitting in the chair when he was three, my son was still able to get on and off the chairs by himself and we won't need to replace it later because it is too small. In my opinion, it is the perfect "in between" size to grow with my son.
One suggestion I do have is to purchase some of those felt pads for the bottom of the chair and table legs. We have hardwood floors and the chairs get skidded around quite a bit and scratched the floor before I was able to put pads on them.

Awesome set. Very good quality. Better than Pottery Barn Kids set and less expensive. It looks better than the picture.This is a great table and chairs set.It is solid wood, sturdy, and nice looking.It is also a good height for my 6 year old and will last probably until she is ten or so.It is tall enough that I am comfortable sitting at it with her to play games.Putting it together was fairly easy as long as you have muscles, because you have to screw the bolts in really tight and it is tough!My husband did it.The chairs are really easy to put together.I would have given it 5 stars but for three things:
1.The screws stand out because they are metal and are not hidden at all.
2.The cubbies are a strange size they don't really fit standard paper, we'll use the cubbies for bins of crayons, markers, etc.
3.Mine came with a small scratch on the tabletop not bad enough to send back, but annoying.
We were not planning on ordering the extra chairs, but we've changed our minds they will actually fit side by side on the long side. You could have 6 chairs fit around this table if you needed it.This will also be nice to use during dinners with family and friends for the kids table.The cherry finish is really pretty you won't regret buying it.

Assembling the table requires attaching 4 legs with 2 screws each.Unfortunately, the screw holes are not properly drilled, so the screws get stuck about halfway through.
When I complained, Lipper kindly sent me another table, which had the same issue.
Perhaps the problem can be solved with a drill, which I don't own, but that's more assembly than I expect from premade furniture.
The shelf on the first table was slightly off kilter as well, an issue I probably would live with if I could assemble the table.

It comes in the usual colors of the blue, multi colored continents and in Silver.Since I was looking for something a little more elegant, I chose the Silver version. Our church is giving it as a Retirement Gift to our Pastor who has served her Lord and congregation so richly, worldwide.I do wish and did think that the globe was crystal from the title, Crystal Marquis Globe.It turned out to be Acrylic......Still it is attractive and less fragile.Crystal, would have made a much more impressive statement....with a much higher price tag too!

I bought this for myself as a birthday gift & love it! Love Hello Kitty & pink so it was a winner there. It cooks very fast, so you gotta be ready with rest of your meal. Only cons--only makes 3 at a time, so if you're cooking for a crowd, it might take awhile! It also gets VERY HOT so I would supervise children using this. Glad I added to my shelf of "do I really need another gadget?" items.
This machine is very clean in operation compared to big commercial units, which can blow cotton candy floss all over.The only real down-side is that it takes quite a while to make a smallish ball of cotton candy.It comes with a little scoop, which yields a ball of floss about the size of a softball, in about 4 minutes time.Adults and older children will likely want more, and you can make a decent-sized ball by re-filling the machine and adding a second batch to the same cone.Doing this requires about 8 minutes per serving, so if you plan on serving a large group of kids at a birthday party, this isn't the machine for you.Rent a commercial one from a local party supply instead.They can churn out multiple full-sized portions per minute.
The rotating floss head gets quite hot, so this isn't really a toy, and if it is to be used by young ones, they need adult supervision.Once cooled down, though, clean-up is super-easy with just warm water and a soft sponge.
Overall, this unit is a great value, and does what it is supposed to at this price point.I received this as a birthday present and works well. I already have the Kitchenaid ice cream maker attachment. This Hello Kitty ice cream maker works just fine, not as good as the Kitchenaid ice cream maker attachment but gets the job done. I followed a recipe from Ben and Jerry's Homemade Ice Cream and Dessert Book and it turned out perfect. What do you expect with a novelty/nostalgic ~$40 ice cream maker??? I usually don't use any of the recipes that come with kitchen appliances because they rarely turn out great anyway. Like most ice cream makers, definitely freeze the maker bowl at least 24 hours before making a batch, makes a huge difference in turn out.

I recently bought this ice cream maker at target for 39.99 and made my first batch of frozen yogurt. It was a really nice batch. The frozen yogurt was thick and creamy, and was frozen in 25 minutes instead of the 40 minutes the guide said it would take. You can tell it's frozen when the scraper can no longer turn. The clean up was a breeze. The motor detaches from the lid so you can wash the lid and wipe of the motor. The only problem with this ice cream maker is the problem that afflicts all machines in this price range, that you need to keep the bowl in the freezer which takes up a good deal of space.
Over all I recommend the produce.Dont buy this mixer!!! its so cute with the hello kitty but; I used it two times and the mixer burned out. My husband knew I only got it cause I'm a hello kitty fan He told me its a cheap machine with hello kitty on it. He was right the machine broke and I wasted $20 something dollars on this thing! Don't but it!!!

I wanted to purchase an inexpensive and durable sand box for 1 autistic 10 year old and one very active 4 year old and this fit the bill.It is wonderful for my sons to play in the sand(as a form of play therapy) since it helps as per the occupational/floortime therapist.It's also a lot of fun for 2 boys to sit for an hour in one place pouring sand and making sand castles with the Sandastik play sand(free shipping with Amazon prime).It's a little cold outside but still worth it.
This item arrived very quickly, but was much smaller than expected: two kids playing will be cramped and big dump trucks wont work in it. The lid also doesnt snap on in any way it just sits on top and has already blown off in a light breeze.

My two boys (2 and 3) love this sand box. They have the big turtle sand box at grandma and grandpa's house and love playing in it, so we decided to find a smaller version that would fit our condo's patio and leave some room for us to sit as well.This was perfect!The boys love it, it fits two bags of sand and the lid is super easy to take on and off.

I put 150 lbs of play sand in it and let them go to town with their beach toys. I would not recommend putting more than 150 lbs in as it will fill it all the way to the top, I think, and much will spill over and be wasted. It is definitely on the small side I should have visualized the size better prior to purchasing and probably would suit one small child at a time better than two. This is a good size. Its perfect to hang on the end of a baby crib, give it a pull before you leave the room. This is very soft and has some stuffing in it as well, so not only can it hang, perfect for the baby to snuggle.It's a cute looking animal too, pretty shade and a sweet face.The music is clear and not too loud. Fabric is soft and not itchy. It is a bit larger than I thought it would be. The picture of the product shows it's full length when the string is pulled and let go to play. after it is done playing, the bottom stripped section disappears. Also the frog is very girthy. Over all this is a great item. I just wished I knew how big it was before I bought it.
