iPlay Sights and Sounds Splash Table
I bought this for my son who is 19 months old. He LOVES playing in the water and so I thought he would enjoy this for many, many hours. While he does have fun with it, he likes spending most of the time taking the pieces off. Normally that wouldn't be a problem, except that when the lighthouse comes off and water gets into the base, the music plays OVER and OVER and OVER kind of a problem for a toy that is supposed to have water in it. Also there is NO on/off button for the music which is annoying not only when water gets into the base of the lighthouse, but when we are trying to empty the water out and put it away.Great idea for a toy, but I wouldn't recommend it until they come out with a new and improved version.

My son is almost 2 y/o and this looked like an amazing toy he could spend lots of time playing with. Unfortunately, now I wish I had bought something simpler with less small parts. The various pieces on it (the tree, lighthouse, crane etc) come off very easily. He spends most of his time taking it apart rather than playing with it. Perhaps he will like it more as he gets older, but I think it would be better if the fixtures on it were firmly attached. My mother bought this table for my daughter's first birthday.We were so excited that we even invited over her best baby friend (14 months) to have a 4th of July Splash Table Party.We were so dissappointed when the octopus did not work at all.The sounds were barely audible too.We decided to put new batteries in, thinking that maybe the batteries we purchased were duds.Sadly, it was the toy that was a dud!Fortunately, the girls had fun with the water, even without all the bells an whistles.But then again, they had just as much fun when I filled our big salad bowl with water and floated a few toys in there.Needless to say, I exchanged the table for another one.I hesitated when they asked me if I wanted to exchange it or get store credit I should have just listened to my gut and gotten the credit, but I went ahead and got a new one (my daughter loves water more than any other kid I have ever known!).
Surprise, surprise...The octopus doesn't work!Well, it does squirt out a tiny tiny bit of water for about a half a second, but only about a half inch high (nothing at all like the picture on the box).
I am so sad to see such a horribly manufactured toy on the market and for so much money no less!Play in the bathtub, outside in a sprinkler, or even with a salad bowl full of water, but just please don't waste your money on this, it will be such a let down for everyone.

My now 14-month-old received this for his first birthday.He loves it, but spends most of his time taking it apart.The problem is that the toys included on the table are not fastened on, and my son loves to take them off and throw them.The palm tree comes apart and comes off of the table, the little man comes off of the crane and the crane comes off of the table, and the lighthouse comes off.He's even recently figured out how to pull the store/station building off.That being said, he really enjoys playing with it, just not for its intended use.In fact, he is not nearly as interested in the toy when we put water in it.He also enjoys pushing the table around the house.If you don't mind hunting down the parts to this after your child throws them around, the table should provide lots of entertainment, just not for the purpose for which it was designed.Save 29% Off

I bought this desk a few years ago. It's still in brand new condition and gets used daily by both my kids (2 and 4). The pull out basket is fabric covered cardboard but if your kids are good with their things, it will last a long time.

I purchased this table for my Grand Daughters for Christmas. They were amused at first! One is 15 months old and the other is 4 years old. The four year old isn't interested at all. She likes her hand held games. The younger one does play with it a few times a week. Would recommend it for a doctors office or preschool. It has lots of maze like wires and beads. But, really only used occasionally.

Nice piece, it was a little hard to make out the shape of his face until I used a little bit of black ink to highlight the details of the carving.I also applied a little bit of pressure on the sword and added a little bit of a curve to the blade (and it took really well, just be VERY delicate)!Turned out awesome, just need to hone my painting skills a little more before I work on this guy.

Gund Baby Nighty Night Musical Toy
We have now bought two of these little bears, to have one as a back-up.My little girl can't sleep without it.She has accidently hit herself in the face once with the wind up part, but other than that it has been great.It's small enough for her to carry around everywhere without dragging it on the ground, and the music part has lulled her to sleep on many occasions when we did not have a mobile or CD player, like in hotel rooms. She loves it, but it is hard to wash, so that's why we have two. You have to hand wash it and wait for it to air dry, and that does not sit well with our 1 year old little princess.:-)

Although this is sold as a hand talc for billard players, it actually makes a great unscented body talc for use on feet, etc. For a long time I was unable to locate an unscented body talc at a reasonable price so I was delighted to discover this prodoct. I've been using it now for several months and have found it to be an excellent talc of the highest quality -and it has no scent at all.By the way, another reviewer mentioned that he was spammed by the supplier. That hasn't happened to me so maybe they have mended their ways.

Sesame Street Large Plush
I had originally ordered the 15 inch elmo and found him to be very small. I bought this one instead. The size is great, going to be perfect for my 18 month old. As far as previous reviews saying his body is hard, he isn't super hard. His arms and legs are the normal stuffing. While his body is slightly harder, with thicker stuffing and the only bean bag beans he has are on his bottom. This helps him to sit up without falling over... His eyes are cloth instead of the hard plastic on the smaller 15 inch version and his mouth is also made out of cardboard just like the smaller 15 inch one, this keeps his mouth open in a permanent grin. All in all I think this is a great sized Elmo, very well put together. He is shaggy, but does not shed like the Fisher Price Elmo. I would recommend for 18 months and up, a smaller child might not be able to carry him around very well simply because of his size.
He fell right in love with this Elmo and now carries him all over the house.Elmo has a heavy bottom (weighted) so it is easy for our little one to get Elmo to sit by him for watching a movie or playing with toys.This morning I found my toddler seated in Elmo's lap reading a book!
The fur is soft and is stringy? so it looks like Elmo is covered in fur and it doesn't seem to shed.Our Elmo's eyes are soft (not plastic) but are crooked; we figure that adds character (both myself & my husband attempted to grab the eyes and straighten them so they are noticeably crooked).Elmo's mouth is hard (like it has cardboard in it) but that keeps it slightly open in the silly Elmo grin.
This size Elmo is pretty big, when my toddler is carrying Elmo he gives him a big hug around the neck and Elmo's feet hang below my son's knees but not to the floor.Sitting he is just a few inches shorter than our son which makes them look like "best friends" when they are sitting together.
This Elmo doll was worth the price to me to NOT have any mechanics or noise and he is just what we were hoping for.It has been through the washing machine now several times & dried on low in the dryer and seems to be holding up well, doesn't quite look new anymore but fur remains soft & nice, color is true, and toddler is happy!

I was looking for a first Elmo for my Elmo loving 2 year old. I was really worried about getting an Elmo that didn't look like him, but he is perfect! He's shaggy and cute and just the right size.Dont worry about him being too hard because he's not, he's soft and cuddly just some weights in his seat to keep him sitting up, barely noticable.He's the perfect size for my 2 year old to carry around and he looks as though he will last a long time.Most important he looks just like the real Elmo!Highly recommended!Update: I wanted to update this review since my daughter just got her Gund Elmo stuffed toy for Christmas.This was her favourite present, she barely paid any attention to any thing else and carried it with her everywhere. This Elmo is officially a keeper. My daughter carry's him everywhere and has since she got him. Usually she goes through phases and favourites only last a few months at most, I expected the same with this Elmo, but he is still her favourite, she even sleeps with him.Only issue we had with him as regards to the quality of the product is, during her teething period she liked to chew and bite things, unfortunately Elmo became a victim, she chewed the top "lip" and the black fabric that covers the inside of his mouth tore, exposing the white plastic (not cardboard as stated in another review) it is basically irrepearable, although I will ask my mother in law who has sewn many a ripped toy. Everything else is in good condition, he has even taken a few "baths" by putting him in a pillow case then on a delicate cycle in the washing machine, this worked well and he came out looking and smelling brand new and nothing broke or ripped. My daughter is pretty rough on him so aside from his mouth, he has lasted well till this point. We often set him next to the tv while Elmo is on and he really is a great replica.Again his size is perfect for a toddler or young child, she carrys him easily but he is big enough to look realistic. Anyone looking for a good quality, realistic, soft, first Elmo, this is the one.We are considering buying a new one now my Daughter has stopped teething, and sneaking the old one out to replace him since he has the tear in his mouth, but not sure as he is the original fav, just doesn't seem right!Only real thing I could say that would make him just totally perfect would be that, I noticed the real Elmo is very shaggy, this one is shaggy but not like the real one, he would really be perfect if they could make his fur shaggier and evidently make the fabric in his mouth tougher. Oh and btw, he is super cute!

This is a decent kit. Price is low, but unfortunately the quality is not too great especially when you compare to other kit makers such as Faller or Vollmer. Plastic coloring is not realistic, pieces don't always fit together or function well, and "stained glass" windows do not look good. Granted, you can't complain too much because of the cheap price, but I would likely not buy again.

this item is great, very detailed. i suggest you paint the inside with a dark color. I lit the church to bring out the stain glass windows and light shines through plastic. used a dark color inside....very nice....
LEGO Green Building Plate (10" x 10")
My son has at least four of these boards, and he uses them all the time.I agree with the reviewer from Virginia that these should be included withevery major set because the Legos do fall apart when they have to betransported from one place to another.I also think the boards aresomewhat expensive, but at least they're sturdy and you can connect themwith Lego blocks to build bigger scenes.
Honestly, I found these plates a LOT cheaper in my local meijer's store, plus they were on sale to boot.That said, you really can't do without these baseplates if your child is going to build anything with legos.It's a bunch of fun anyway, seeing how high you can make towers, which is impossible to do without one of these.They should include these in the sets and how about different colors too?Gray and green get a little boring.You really can't use those colors when you're pretending to be out in the desert with your big army tanks, now can you?Sure wish I could find one of those big legos tables if anyone sees one, please let me know.They would be an even better investment over these baseplates.

These baseplates are important if your little one likes to build structures with Legos.I'd recommend attaching them to a board (I wood-glued 6 of them to a board, added some molding, and put sliders underneath so I could store the board under beds or sofas) so they won't flex.
Otherwise, you'll definitely need to encourage your child to play with these on a table or other hard surface, and warn them that moving their constructions to another spot might result in the creations coming apart.

I had a ton of Legos as a kid (who didn't?), passed down from family members and friends so it was a mish-mash of whatever was available in the 70s.Today's Legos are very neat in that they come in lots of great colors and there are so many fun sets out there with unique pieces to play with.My kids and I love them!The base plates, however, are a huge disappointment.First they're not included with most sets, which just seems stupid to me (especially the complex kits that are so $$ to begin with!).I finally ponied up to get a few in various sizes for my kids and I'm surprised at how flimsy they are!I remember the base plates being thick the edges were nearly the same depth as your standard Lego brick and most importantly they were rigid.I have many memories of stepping on the corners of these things with bare feet, ouch!But I'll tell you what, those base plates wouldn't flex and shatter your creation into a million pieces, either.The larger base plates are the worst my kids like to play with their Legos in the living room where we've got a rug on the floor and my youngest (who is 3) has a hard time getting bricks to stick flat as every time she pushes down the entire thing warps inward.I try to encourage them to build on the hardwood or on a table but they prefer the rug (it is Winter, who wouldn't).Anyway I just think that the base plates, especially at $5-$7 for a piece of molded plastic, should be the same quality they were thirty years ago and stand up to a lot of play.

Cute table. Easy to assemble. The size is not as listed though. It's 31x31. It comes with a track which is nice. It's not huge but I actually quite like the smaller size so we will keep it!! Anything less than 31" would be way to short either way though. The drawer holds a lot of track and pieces. Good buy overall for the price!

Bought this for my 3-year-old for Christmas! He LOVES it! Perfect size for his room and family room. Light enough to move around easily. EAsy to put together. Drawer is smaller but still holds plenty.Table is just tall enough to put toy totes underneath for easy storage out of the way. The 32"x32" size is perfect for our small living room. The table went together in about 40 minutes with no problems. Got two more for each of my grandchildren.

This is a nice paddle for someone whose game has advanced beyond the basic "Gnip-Gnop" of the recreational player.Two issues.. the player needs to know what their strengths and weaknesses are before spending this much on a paddle.The Butterfly SCS-4000 is the same price, with different characteristics.Paddles are rated according to Speed, Spin, and Control.Before buying, play enough so the rating numbers mean something to you.Secondly, the edges are sharp where the hand comes into contact with the sides of the paddle itself.All it would take is to have them slightly rounded to increase the comfort of the player.I had to take some fine grit sand paper to the paddle to correct the problem.I would expect a less quality paddle to have the sharp edges, but for a more expensive item, it wouldn't take much to correct it at the factory.
