These are beautiful cards with one HUGE problem! The suits look the same. CLubs look like spades and Hearts look like Diamonds.

I host a game and was excited to bring out the new deck. To my embarrasment everyone laughed at the cards and how unreadable they were. Players were getting out of their seats and leaning over the table to see the flps.

I even attempted to color in the suits to make them more distinguishable. Needless to say, we got another deck and this one collects dust.

The feel of these cards are outstanding and better then KEM cards in my opinion.The ornate designs look very good as well ... but in actual play the suits looked too much like each other and were often times hard to distinguish without looking closely.The spades look like the clubs and to a lesser extent, the diamonds look like the hearts.I won't hesitate to buy Copag cards again, but not this set.

These playing cards are simply outstanding. They have a gorgeous, classy design, especially on the faces of the "face" cards (JQKA), evocative of a dancing ribbon. As for objective quality, these cards are as perfect as you would expect from Copag, who produce only the finest plastic playing cards. They shuffle and deal like a dream. The numbers and letters on the cards are very readable, even with a quick "poker peek" at them. And to top it all off, the decks come in a very attractive metal collector's tin. This 2-deck set is highly recommended.

I purchased these along with KEM cards: KEM Arrow Black and Gold Poker Size Standard Index Playing Cards.

The KEMs seem more durable than these.I was somewhat underwhelmed by the design on the cards; the colors aren't as vivid as the KEM ones are.Copag cards are stiffer and feel more like paper cards, while KEM cards are more flexible and feel like they are made of plastic.The suits do look a bit similar, but after a few games it's not that hard to tell them apart.

That said, Copag cards are still excellent when compared to paper cards.They retain their shape even better than the KEM cards.If you've tried KEM cards and are not a fan, then Copag cards are probably what you're looking for.

Great design. Copag are my preferred playing cards. In addition to this set, I own three more sets of Copag decks. My one complaint would be the tin that they come in. The metal tin is a good idea, but came in damaged.I would have much preferred a wooden box or even just the regular plastic box. I've owned one set of cards that have lasted 5 years at least, but they need to be replaced. I noticed one of the cards has been torn. No big deal. A worthwhile investment for playing cards.
