This is what I would expect from Disney -a quality product that will last for a long time. We considered buying the newest Disney Princess Castle from Mattel, but it has gotten poor reviews on many sites. After searching the web, I found this Enchanted Palace and read many positive reviews, so we purchased it for our 4 year old. It is BIG -and folds out to over 3 feet wide and about 2 feet tall. It's beautiful and sturdy. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the staircase won't stay on very well. I suppose we could glue it, but my daughter likes to move it around to the other rooms. The balcony has fallen off a few times also. But overall, it is great! Assembly took me about 45 minutes and is fairly easy. The chandelier lights up; the stove, phone, and piano all make noise; and the elevator moves. Best part for me -it fits 12" dolls like Barbies, etc. so she'll be able to use it for a long time, even with Barbies later on.
