Kidkraft Limited Edition Roundhouse Train Set & Table w/ 2 Drawers & Sounds

This toy was easy to assemble, and looks quite good overall. I understand why others gave it good reviews. HOWEVER:

I gave it only two stars for one reason in particular: There is a major design flaw in the layout of the track.

The problem is that there is no track route that you can push a train around and around on. There are two main track routes that go around the table. But the problem is that both of them go through the turn table; and you can't even set the turntable to go straight through for either track route. Both major track routes require you to turn the turn table while the train is on it; but it is only one engine or carriage long. So you simply can't get a connected train through it.

I'll go ahead and say that this may only be a problem for two and three year olds who don't know how the turn table is supposed to work. But to tell the truth, this one problem makes me not want to play with it either.

It seems pretty simple, but it is a big problem. I would definitely recommend NOT buying this product for this reason alone. I don't know if the other sets have this problem.

Our family was so excited when we received this piece.Our sons birthday was this past weekend so he didnt have to wait for xmas.We could hardly wait either.Assembly was a breeze and you can tell that it is made of very high quality materials.You can also tell that a lot of detail was put into the design of this train set.The roundhouse aspect is amazing as well as the bridge. This will provide our son and his little brother a great toy for many years to come.

This table is central in our playroom, and our children as well as all of their buddies enjoy playing with this.My kids range in age from 2 years to 7 years, and they all enjoy it!It's solid and provides a wide surface for multiple kids.I highly recommend it!

This is huge so don't try to lift the box alone when it comes to the door.

It was on my daughters wish list for her firstborn last year and we missed it at this great price.

My 4 year old grandson received it for his birthday and has been enthralled ever since.He has stopped asking for cartoons and goes straight to the train table to play, play, play.
