well made good size very cute but somehow not exactly big bird in its expression

for a big bird fan though it is great

I bought eight of the sesame street finger puppets for my 8 month old, she LOVES them... she especially enjoys when her 4 or 2 year old siblings put them on thier fingers and tickle or kiss her with them, it's really great (gentle) interaction between all three kids.She also holds them, perfect size!and she chews on them.We've owned these for 4 months now and they still look new.Based on the quality of the gund finger puppets we own (purchasing cookie and grover today) I leave them in the toy box for all of my children to play with, not necessarily supervised.My older two also play with the puppets sporadically and if I join in the puppet conversation, they will play indefinitely :-)

I would not hesitate to purchase any of these as a gift or for a baby shower wishing well gift.... no batteries, the quality and softness that is synonomous with the Gund name and what little one doesn't love/recognize sesame street eventually :-)

I bought this finger puppet because my daughter loves big bird and puppets just amuse her at this age, 15 months.

Ichecked the age recommended for this toy and it states 12 months and up.My daughter ran over to me with an eyeball from this puppet in her mouth, of course I was freaking out! I will be rechecking every toy I purchase but I wanted to include why this is a hazard. Please take my advice and do not purchase for children under 3 years old.
