Two of the four chairs broke in less than 2 years.We didn't jump on them like monkeys.They were only sat on by our small children, not by adults.They simply split and cracked, starting from near the drill holes.
I love these chairs most because of the value.They are extremely sturdy for the price.Several grown-ups have sat in them and they don't budge one bit.I liked that they were solid wood unlike so many of the goods that you see for kids today.Assembly was done by me without any troubles what-so-ever, I am a woman :)I did use and automatic drill so they went together pretty quick.The color I got was natural which shows a great deal of the marker and paint my daughter has used on there but that is what I got it for--for her to use as a craft table.
