This motor was very noisy. It needs a lotof grease and /or graphite to quiet it down to bearable levels.
I ordered the Atlas Manual Turntable/Motorizing unit and was pleased with its simple operation, reliability and space saving feature. I run N-scale diesels and my Walthers turntable is really much too large for these diesel engines. It gobbles up valuable layout space. It has a complex track alignment scheme that does not always work reliably. The smaller Atlas unit is perfect for my purposes.
