I got this for my 7 year old's birthday.She was thrilled with the watch and loved mixing and matching the straps and bezels.She wore it every day till it broke. One month after we got it, the little screw thing that sticks out the side of the watch to allow you to change the time went missing and the watch wouldn't run anymore. (My daughter is a quiet, bookish little kid so hardly a true test of a watch's durability.) I got my daughter a $15 Hello Kitty watch to replace it which looks less flashy but which she actually likes better because she can get it on by herself and because it doesn't get loose during the day.

When I got my daughter's Alex watch, I also got one for a close friend of hers.She likes it but rarely wears it because the family has three small kids and it is impossible for a small kid to get this watch on by themselves. So it's impractical for them to add this to their already busy morning routine.

Pros: nice metal case, pretty straps, coordinating bezels, easy to read hands

Cons: Hard to get on by oneself. The bezels chip easily (paint started to come off by the second day). The strap gets loose in the day because the strap just pulls through a ring (like a cheap belt) rather than having holes and a metal clip. The little loop that you thread the extra strap through comes off the strap so is easy to lose when you are taking off the watch.

This is basically just a watch that comes with different color bands. That's it. It's pretty well made and my child liked it, but this is not a craft, unless you consider changing a watch band to be a craft. That said, it is cute and colorful.
