We bought this for my 3 1/2 year old son to add on to his current collection of Plan Toys/PlanCity toys.Like everything we've purchased in the past from Plan Toys, it's high quality and durable.
Plan Toys now offers several large expansion packs for their train sets. These solid rubberwood tracks are great quality, don't warp, and fit smoothly. We had some open stock Melissa and Doug tracks and they were very frusterating because they were not engineered well, warped, broke, and had connectors of different sizes. It was nice to buy some better quality pieces as a group. The price compares favorably to buy PT tracks individually (hard to find but available at cowandlizard).
