P'kolino Chalk Table and Benches

To start, I'm not one to write bad reviews online.HOWEVER:

We have had this table and chairs for three or four months.My 23 month old daughter sat on one of the chairs today and it broke!Basically, the two legs on one side broke off of the seat.She hit the floor scared and in tears.Shame on this company for making a cheap piece of junk.she is very petite, there is no way this should have brokenIt is made of pressed cardboard.It is cheap for a reason!Don't buy it!Spend an extra 20 bucks and get something made of wood.We will never buy another product from P'kolino.

We have had this table for a year now and it has been the best item we have purchased for our daughter.She uses it every single day.She eats at this table, does crafts, loves keeping her art stuff inside of it and often flips from the chalkboard side back to the white and back again.It is very sturdy, I myself do use the stools occasionally to sit on. Overall we enjoy this product very much.

This table was easy to assemble.

We were pretty disappointed to realize that the "chalkboard" is really just for show.Chalk didn't work, regular Crayola white chalk that is.Material looks chalkboard-like but is too oily or something. Chalk doesn't actual adhere to it.

Otherwise, its a decent activity table and is serving that purpose. I would not recommend sitting on benches or trusting the table to hold/store heavy toys on it. It's not super durable as other reviews seem to suggest/imply.I would go for a solid wood version if you want long term durability and sturdy construction.This is something we're using for a 1.5 YO.We will probably get something bigger and better made as he gets older.

Having shopped around a bit, this is a good price for a functioning little table, but not something we expect to last more than a couple years.

My daughter absolutely loves this table and benches. I saw other reviews that the benches weren't strong, but I have not noticed this issue. I am a nut when it comes to crayons and chalk all over the room and house, this table is perfect for storing it out of the way! Bravo P'Kolino!
