Hasbro Playskool Dream Town Rose Petal Cottage

We bought this for my 3 year old girl's birthday. It was SO easy to set up...only took 1/2 hour for all pieces, including the oven and sink! The attention to detail in this product was amazing and the quality was far better than I expected. She absolutely loves it.The best part...when she is tired of it for a while, take it apart and store it under the bed or in the attic.I can't wait for more pieces to come out.All the parts nest inside each other for space saving too.I HIGHLY recommend this item!!!!

This product is just o.k.. I thought it would be bigger and heavier. I bought it for my 2 1/2 year old.

It's pretty flimsy and can be easily pushed over (by a 11 month old who is holding on to every thing to walk).

The stove that came with it is tiny as you can see in the picture the kids have to be on their knees to use it.

I don't mean to sound so negitive and am sorry if I have discouraged you but it's just not a favorite. It is really cute though.

We just bought this for my daughter's third birthday and wow, did we score big time with this gift! She has barely left the house, even wanting to sleep in it last night. As another reviewer said, the attention to detail is amazing, it's high quality, and was so easy to put together.I especially love how easy it is to clean up and move out of the way.

I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone with little girls!

My daughter received this for her 2nd birthday-she loves it! It is larger than we thought it would be in size. It takes up a good portion of our living room, but my daughter has too much fun with the cottage to worry about the space it takes up. The house pieces nest together nicely, but I wish that it would be a little easier to take the whole thing down if we wanted to-we just don't want to put the poles together again. Overall, the whole cottage goes up very easily and it is a blast to play with.

Killerspin 110-05 Jet 500 Table Tennis Racket

I just got the Killerspin Jet 500 and all I can say is WOW!!!I've played with various paddles over the years, but this took my game to a whole new level.I had been using a cheap paddle that I got 15 years ago and there is no comparison. Its a little pricey, but I play pretty often and was getting beat regularly and decided it was time for an upgrade. The only negative I have is that this thing stinks!I got it out of the packaging and it has a very strong acetone type smell too it.I've only had it a few days, so I'm hoping it will go away.Bottom line, if you think you're a good player and you use a junk paddle, this will take you to the next level.Buy it, you won't be disappointed

I am an intermediate player and is very satisfied with the JET500.

This bat offers tremendous spin with the forehand.

The backhand offers more control and speed.

Its a definite buy for any intermediate player and that too at this price.

Buy Killerspin 110-05 Jet 500 Table Tennis Racket Now

I purchased this paddle as a third choice to two lighter composite versions, and this has become my favorite.I've found this paddle offers excellent spin qualities and has an excellent feel and weight about it.I've only been using it a short time so my comparisons are somewhat limited, but if you're an intermediate to good player taking up the sport again while technology has advanced, this model is a good choice.I have been playing some pretty stiff veteran competition and this paddle seems to hold its own.I have opted to upgrade to a professional paddle, twice the price, so I would welcome an opportunity to update this review in the future and compare qualities of the paddles.

Choosing a paddle is a tough decision because, unless you have an opportunity to test a wide assortment of paddle varieties, it is a "trial and error" process of decision-making, based on faith or "word of mouth".Some people buy what the experts use, but unfortunately, each player plays differently at various stages of development, so what's great for one player may not suit another.I don't envy anyone having to make this tough decision, but I can say this paddle seems to be one that my opponents respect.

Very impressed with the way this racket plays. I was using before a Killerspin model that comes in the two pack, and I thought it was good, but the difference between this racket and that is night and day. The sheer amount of spin I can put on the ball was immediately noticed by my partner. Where he would have normally hit my shot back, the spin on the ball with the new racket easily puts another 6" worth of trajectory on it, and the ball will wiz right past where he thought the shot should have gone. Awesome!

Another thing I noticed over the lesser model was that off-center hits seem to be much more forgiving with the new racket. There is a larger "sweetspot" on the this racket with which my poor form isn't exposed as much as usual :-)

The weight and thickness are what attracted me most to this model over the more expensive 600. The feel when the racket hits ball is more of a dead feeling. I've used a friend's Stiga that is pretty light, but every hit on the ball vibrates up your hand. After a while your hand is tired and you don't really know why, but with this racket it feels as smooth as silk and I can play a long time without any discomfort.

The quality is good, and the laminated construction with multi-color inserts looks good. My only gripe is the cheap sticker they put around the edge of the racket. It will probably come off in a few games. I think it will look better without it anyway.

Overall, i'm very impressed and it has definitely changed my game! Worth every penny.

Want Killerspin 110-05 Jet 500 Table Tennis Racket Discount?

The first word I want to say is "Awesome". If you are in between intermediate to good player, this is the best paddle for you. The best thing of this paddle is excellent back spin you can generate during playing. You have to adjust more to play smash but the spin control is really very good. The paddle has improved my skills a lot.

Gund Pink Winky Mini Comfy Cozy

My daughter is only 4 1/2 months but she goes to bed and naps with it every day. It's soft so she likes to run her fingers over the fuzzy side. Gund is a great brand and this size is perfect.

My granddaughter loves this and won't go in the car without it. The only complaint I have is on the size.I would be great if it was big enough to use as a blanket.

HABA Sunshine Mobile

So, most importantly, our baby girl absolutely LOVES this thing. We hung it over her changing pad when she was about 5 weeks old, and over the last 2-3 months, this mobile has more than paid for itself in hours of "flower buddies" fun for her.

The best things about this mobile:

Bright, pretty colors which attract a baby's attention

Three of the flowers have little faces on them so when the baby looks up at the flowers, the faces smile down on her. It's just adorable.

Finally it's made by HABA, and I have yet to be disappointed with anything I've gotten from them!

The only thing that it could use is a stronger ring from which to hang the flowers the one inside seems to bow a bit, but this is a minor thing and doesn't merit removing a star.

Another great feature is the uniqueness I mentioned above we have gotten more compliments on this mobile. It's pretty "old-school" i.e., no motorized parts, no music, no lights, and no arm to hang it from the side of a crib in essence, you get what you see in the picture. And thank goodness this mobile has bought us months of happy baby time! We've got it suspended from a little hook in the ceiling, and wouldn't have it any other way.

I really like all the product from Haba, especially this mobile. They are made in Germany of high quality materials, and have a sweetness and charm that a lot of US products lack. I love the colors too.

The only thing about this mobile that was a little unexpected was that it doesn't come with an arm to hang from the edge of the crib. Instead, we hung it from the ceiling on some elastic. Worked great.

Buy HABA Sunshine Mobile Now

We bought this mobile for my daughter before she was born and it is still one of her favorite things at 11 months. She likes to hold conversations with her "flower friends"

The best things about this mobile are:

1.)The faces of the flowers point toward the baby!(Why do most mobiles have the faces pointed at the adults anyway. It's not meant to be your toy!)

2.)The mobile is colorful to stimulate the baby's senses, but not over stimulating.

3.)It can be spun around by the parents

4.)It's by HABA and you can find all sorts of cute toys and decor to match

Things to keep in mind are:

1.)It has to be hung from the ceiling instead of having an arm attaching it to the crib.I really like this because it meant that I didn't have to discard her mobile when she was old enough to sit up and stand up in her crib.

2.)It is not mechanical and doesn't play music or spin itself.I count this as a plus since a lot of that music is canned and awful. My daughter disliked the synthesized music played by her bouncy chair and various toys anyway!

One of the other reviewers said that the ring had warped with the weight, but ours is still straight. The ring feels like it is not very thick, though, so I can see how this might be an issue. My daughter has had a lot of fun with her mobile, and it was worth every penny!

Portable Playtime Kids' Travel Backpack & Airplane Tray Playmat - BROWN BLUE HAPPY CASTLES

Ok.. so I didn't buy this from the website. From what I've seen the company looks like it is now out of buisness. I got this product from a dollar store for $2. I thought it seemed neat because it is made out of that non-plastic waterproof material (PUL?), and it looked durable. Once I bought I saw you could use on an airplane and it also had 4 zipper pockets.

If you imagine opening it up it is like a long rectangle with a fairly big zippered pocket on either side. (I could fit my son's DS in the pocket) When you fold up (sort of trifold style) it has an average size pocket on the front and back. Those pockets are made out of pul, and I could fit a great big handful of fish crackers in it. IT also has straps on the back, which you can use as a back pack (it has buckles so you could do a crossover hold on children if you wanted) I suppose it probably buckles to the airplane tray as well.

It would be handy for you parents and using as a wipable mat at restaurants and out in public.

I would recommend this item and like it. It's simple, straightforward and nice to use.

Guidecraft G83562 Farmhouse Chair Kids Table

This is a wonderful well crafted table and 2 chairs set. It has 5 farm animals painted on the table and one each on the chair seat. My kid (2 yrs old) loves the animals. The set is very easy to assemble. It is very sturdy and comfortable furniture and at the same time not too heavy to move. Its even comfortable for adults to sit on the chairs. My little one uses the table and chair practically for everything from drawing, to crafts, to having meals. While purchasing, I was hoping that they had different colors available as I am not too fond of green. But when I saw the set, I was happy with the colors used. Its uses neutral colors so it can be a good choice for any gender kid. When we got it delivered, the box was torn on one side but hopefully no damage was done to the contents of the box.

I bought this table for my granson's 2nd birthday and he absolutely loves it!Wants to eat every meal at this table, colors, finger paints, etc.Set is strong enough for adults to join him by using the other chair.Well made.Would definately recommend!

Martin Kilpatrick Racket Case

I recently bought the butterfly Kenji and needed a case for it.

I figured it would look stupid buying a stiga case with a butterfly paddle, so I tried this one out.

Its great, has a little strap to hold the paddle down and room for balls, cards, cash and even a phone if you want to do that. My only complaint is that if you put a ball in there it tends to leave a dent in the rubber of my paddle. but for $9 its a steal.

I bought this case for my advanced (and pricey) Carlos Chiu racket. And it is doing that job while also looking good. It has a zipper for ping pong balls, money, club membership cards etc. It doesn't cost that much. That also helps.

Am happy with my purchase!!

Child Desk: My First Desk

I bought this for my 2.5 year old daughter thinking that we can take it on a plane. After giving a good amount of net surfing, I liked how colorful and practical the item was designed. She likes the side pockets to put crayons. The surface(desk) is not durable, the velcro on the back the rubber string came out unattached from the bag for the second time she opened and the 4 rubber straps on the desk to hold the papers arenot well designed rather simply exposed without a cover. I'll recommend to put only few papers.

This desk was not as good as I was hoping. It is not all that sturdy or durable and a child could bend it in half and ruin it easily. It is kinda small and also crayons or other objects roll off the sides into the child's lap or the floor. That being said, it is funtional as far as providing a flat surface to write on or eat on in the car, which I have to admit is all I bought it for.My 3 year old son actually really likes it and likes putting the crayons in the zip pockets on the side.I can't complain with the purchase overall, especially for the low cost.

Step2 Fun Flow Play Sink

I bought the version (the cheaper one) where you put batteries in it and the water comes through the faucet while pressing only one button ONCE.The motor broke (after less than 30 days of use) and my 2-year-old was devastated.Naturally I wanted to get her another. There were TWO listings for what I thought was the same item. So, I bought it.Little did I know that the second one I purchased (the more expensive one) wasn't exactly the same as the first. They LOOK the same but one has the battery-operated faucet and the other has a PUMP.This one has the PUMP.So, I shelled out $50 for this one just to have to stand there and pump the water through the faucet for 1/2 an hour since it's too difficult for a toddler to push the thingy-majig down on her own.

This sink is NOT recommended. If you want to take the chance that the battery-operated one will work for more than 30 days, buy the CHEAPER version of this sink since most toddlers have an affinity for water and getting wet in the process. However, make sure you get the BATTERY-OPERATED sink because the pump version of this sink SUCKS!

My 2-year-old received this from her grandparents for her birthday 3 months ago and plays with it every single day. I have never seen either of my kids enjoy a single toy so much. We have the manual pump which as other reviewers have noted is not that usable but my daughter doesn't care. What is great about this toy is the height and shape are perfect for a toddler. You can put in about 2 inches of water which is plenty for them to splash in but not a safety hazard. The little scoops and wheel are a good size for toddlers and it's nice how they are designed to hang anywhere on the lip of the basin. I have this indoors in my hall bathroom just off the main area and my daughter can go in there anytime to play. It is the first thing she wants to do every morning and she goes back in there for 20-30 minutes at a time throughout the day. In 7 years of parenting this is the most played-with toy EVER at my house.

Buy Step2 Fun Flow Play Sink Now

I bought this toy last spring, and alas, the motor did break. So guess what? I contacted step2, months after purchasing, and I wish I had sooner, because they promptly sent me a new pump (manual operation instead of battery) which I have preferred anyway. The battery power was a cool idea, but it needed easier access to battery, and a parent control switch. Hand power is fine, and the rest of the toy is cute-bright, fun toys, big enough to climb into (with supervision) and great for yard, driveway, we have even put it into the shower so he could use indoors.

Read Best Reviews of Step2 Fun Flow Play Sink Here

Previous models of this sink had a battery-powered pump that recycled the water from the basin through the spigot for continuous flow. It was undoubtedly the coolest feature of this toy. When I bought this sink recently for my child, however, I noticed right away that there was no place to install batteries. The electric pump has been removed from the newer models, thus there is no longer a continuous flow of water. Instead, there is a manual hand pump that makes the water flow through the spigot, and this pump is actually pretty tough for younger toddlers to use. The sink is still fun and a big hit with kids, but I don't know if I would've purchased it if I knew in advance that the automatic pump had been removed. It really was a huge part of what made the toy fun and unique.

Step2 New Traditions Table & Chairs Set

We bought this set for our 5 year old son. He is too big for a booster seat and too short to really color and draw at our dinner table. We first tried a child-sized wooden table but our younger son destroyed it within a couple of months. This set is sturdy and stable. The table is also very light. When it is not in use, we store the table upside-down on top of our dining room table. It is easy to relocate when we need to move it and fits through a standard doorway (when turned on it's side). The top of the table has a very slight lip to stop crayons or markers from rolling on the floor. I think we will be using this happily for years!

I just received this table and chair set today, and despite one negative review claiming that it is a "piece of junk," I have to say quite the contrary.I was impressed with the size, durability and quality of this set overall. As an added bonus, my two-year old daughter loves it. She's been using it all day so far, coloring and playing with her toys on it. It was also incredibly easy to put together--took about ten minutes with just a Phillips screwdriver. Don't believe the 'review skewers'!

PlanToys PlanCity Eco Mat with Square Corners

This mat is much narrower than our Plan Toys train table it also hardly qualifies as a mat, it is more like a table cloth, which bundles up under the tracks making the tracks unnavigable. I could think of many ways to improve this product, such as making it out of a sturdier, heavier rubber material etc.

I ordered this and I guess I wasn't sure what to expect. I like the fact that Plan Toys is an eco-friendly and kid safe but it's a rather small piece of canvas. I think I was just hoping for something larger.

P'kolino Chalk Table and Benches

To start, I'm not one to write bad reviews online.HOWEVER:

We have had this table and chairs for three or four months. My 23 month old daughter sat on one of the chairs today and it broke!Basically, the two legs on one side broke off of the seat. She hit the floor scared and in tears.Shame on this company for making a cheap piece of junk.she is very petite, there is no way this should have brokenIt is made of pressed cardboard. It is cheap for a reason!Don't buy it!Spend an extra 20 bucks and get something made of wood.We will never buy another product from P'kolino.

We have had this table for a year now and it has been the best item we have purchased for our daughter. She uses it every single day.She eats at this table, does crafts, loves keeping her art stuff inside of it and often flips from the chalkboard side back to the white and back again. It is very sturdy, I myself do use the stools occasionally to sit on. Overall we enjoy this product very much.

Buy P'kolino Chalk Table and Benches Now

This table was easy to assemble.

We were pretty disappointed to realize that the "chalkboard" is really just for show.Chalk didn't work, regular Crayola white chalk that is.Material looks chalkboard-like but is too oily or something. Chalk doesn't actual adhere to it.

Otherwise, its a decent activity table and is serving that purpose. I would not recommend sitting on benches or trusting the table to hold/store heavy toys on it. It's not super durable as other reviews seem to suggest/imply.I would go for a solid wood version if you want long term durability and sturdy construction. This is something we're using for a 1.5 YO.We will probably get something bigger and better made as he gets older.

Having shopped around a bit, this is a good price for a functioning little table, but not something we expect to last more than a couple years.

Sandtastik White Play Sand; 25 Lb. Box; no. SND025

I contacted Sandtastik Inc. and they confirmed it is free of asbestiform tremolite as questioned by another reviewer. This is the safest sand available.Sandtastik White Play Sand has the ACMI AP non toxic seal and has ASTM D4236 certification meaning it has gone through rigorous testing to make sure it is completely safe. This sand is NATURAL sand, unlike most quartz mined man-made play sands.Molds well when wet.PERFECT, SAFE solution for children's sand tables. Not to mention it looks beautiful! The only drawback is the price not to practical to fill an entire 200lb sand box with it and I won't allow my kids to put water in the sand/water table since they'll turn it into mud and it will have to be replaced often.I don't want to have to replace it often at this price!I do highly recommend it though My children's safety is worth the extra cost.

Great clean safe sand.No silica.Works great for decorations and art projects or as play sand.Very soft feeling. Not coarse like regular sand.Molds great when damp.Pricey compared to normal sand, but worth it in my opinion.

we got a sandbox and went to buy sand for it. Suddenly we were made aware the "play" sand is not safe because of silica and scratching of the eyes. We went to the sandtastic webpage and looked at their store locator. I love this sand. It is so soft and fine. When you get it wet it packs nicely but does take a very long time to dry. By long time I mean DAYS. Also, because it is so fine it blows easily, so you don't want to be playing with it on a windy day.

HeroClix: Darkseid # 52 (Uncommon) - Superman

Not quite sure how to review an item specific as this but here goes nothing. Darkseid is larger in size than the typical HeroClix figure so be sure to have a deeper case to store/carry him in. I particularly have these Black and Yellow (bad song though) tool cases that can be found at a place that rhymes with Shall-Mart. Also, the circular yellow "Omega Effect" (probably not accurate) is extremely durable. The only issue I have found is it will bend and stay the shape it bent to if it remains as such for a long period of time. Overall Darkseid is a tremendous addition to any HeroClix collection, whether its for play-ability or pure eye candy.
