I purchased this chair for my 18 month old daughter. I was so pleased with the quality of the chair. It is sturdy enough for her to use for years to come. Unfortunately, there was a small tear in the leather when I opened the package. However, I phoned the seller, who quickly sent me a replacement part.All in all I'm happy with the purchase. I ordered this chair as a gift for my son's first birthday.I looked at a lot of upholstered chairs before deciding that this one would be the best choice, and I am very pleased with my purchase.I considered a chair upholstered in microsuede or other fabrics, but I wanted something that wasn't going to look grimy after my son drooled allover it, spit up or threw-up on it, wiped dirty hands or face on it, and/or ground his snacks into it (which is what toddlers do, right?).

The chair arrived 7 days after I ordered it, well boxed.It comes in two pieces, with the legs and tools (and desiccant packets...be sure to remove those in case your toddler decides to do some digging underneath) for assembly stored in a compartment under the chair that is covered by a nice flap that velcros shut.The back easily screws onto the rest of the chair, and after 5 minutes it was ready for sitting/climbing in.I left the legs off for now, since it is a nice height for my 1 year old to be able to climb into by himself, as is.Without the legs, it is very stable and I don't worry about it tipping over when my son climbs onto it to peer over the back.It seems to be constructed really well, very solid and well cushioned.No poky sharp parts for baby to bonk his head or face on.It is not too heavy or too light, but just right to be able to a)pick up and move as needed or b)stay firmly in place while my son climbs on it.It's big enough for me to sit in (granted, I'm 5'2" and less than 120 lbs), so I think it will fit my kid for some years, as long as the upholstery holds up.The faux leather is very attractive, and overall, it is a handsome seat that complements our modern living room decor nicely.It wipes clean easily, and looks totally new still (it has already endured milk spills, soggy crackers and tons of drool).It was also a hit with our almost-2-year-old neighbor.

This is a beautiful, well made chair.I sent it to my grandson for his first birthday. To give you an idea of the size, it was a little large for him at that age.My son removed the feet to lower it until he is taller.This is not one of those low spongy seats, it's a real chair.At 15 mos he loves it; it's still requires him climbing up into it, but that's the fun. It looks like a real "leather" chair.Big Plus: You can wipe it off.I see how nasty the fabric chairs can get.I give this a 10+
