The rings are soft and the post is, too.I have no fear that my daughter will poke out an eye or hurt herself at all.However, the holes in the rings fit snugly against the post and it makes them absolutely impossible to put back on!They are fun to take off but in order to get them back on you have to feed the ring around your fingertips as you grab the tip of the post through the hole.If the holes had only be made larger it would be great!Adorable to look at and my daughter is not yet old enough to be frustrated with not being able to put it back together, so we are having fun with it still.Save 10% Off
