Guidecraft Art Table And Chair Set - PinkA must have for every toddler.

Your young one can draw shapes, abc's, learn colors by painting and even read stories using this table set.

Not only that, it is durable, and more paper can be purchased separately.

My daugther is two and she uses it for everything. It's great for me because it keeps her messes in one place one easy clean up.Now what parent doesn't want that?

My daughter is 5 and has had this cute, easy-to-assemble table for over a year and loves it!

My son received this from his grandparents on his first birthday (last month) and he loves it.Although he is little (typical 1 year old), he loves to sit in the seat all by himself and paint/color.He uses something simular in daycare, so it will be a good transition when he gets to preschool years from now.I think he will grow with it for at least another 3 years.I love it

I purchased this table for my 2 year old son. I looked at a LOT of arts and craft tables. Everything seemed so large and bulky, made from heavy plastics. Not to mention they hold every art supply under the sun. All I wanted was a place where my boy could sit and color. I was THRILLED to have found this

Having the roll of paper attached to the desk is a GREAT idea! It's simple for my son to get a fresh piece of paper! Just pull, and when he's finished, it's easy to tear off. It gives him a much larger drawing surface than a regular piece of printer paper, and a single roll holds a ton of paper! The table itself is a great size for him, and will continue to be for a few years.

Overall, if you're interested in this, I say go for it! It's a very simple little table...there's no cubby holes or a million drawers (it looks like there's a drawer in the middle, but it's not. It's a little pull-down compartment that will hold a few crayons or pencils, but not much else), so if your looking for a craft table, this probably isn't for you. My son loves this, and I am VERY happy with this purchase!

I bought this as an impulse purchase because it was over half off list price and it seemed to be high quality. It turned out to be an excellent buy.My two year old son plays on his desk all day long.I purchased some Melissa and Doug jumbo triangle crayons to go with it and it has been a big hit.

I really dislike all the plastic furniture that is so common today.By contrast, this table is solid wood with big sturdy bolts. It was easy to assemble and seems well designed.Everyone who has seen it was very impressed and commented on how nice it is.I expect to get about three years of use and then be able to pass on a quality piece of furniture to someone else.

Cons: I wish it had a drawer big enough to store his box of crayons. Also, the included wrench was too soft and wouldn't work, just use your own box wrench.

Levels Of Discovery Fairy Wishes Table and 2 Chair Set Pink/White

Levels Of Discovery Fairy Wishes Table and 2 Chair Set Pink/WhiteMy 5-year old loves this table to eat at, do homework, draw, arts and crafts, etc.Quality seems good for a kids' item, and so far, no problem wiping off spills or washable markers (not sure about paint or permanent markers).

I also like that it does not have over-commercialized characters like Disney princesses like so many others but rather just a whimsical design.

Also, I had this out of the box and put together in under 10 minutes.

Love love love it! Couldn't be more pleased with this purchase. Excellent quality, best price of anywhere. Will definitely be buying matching vanity.

Angry Birds: On Thin Ice Game

Angry Birds: On Thin Ice GameThis toy is a lot of fun. Children young and old are quite familiar with Angry Birds on their smartphone, tablet, or whatever else. This is a great way to have your kids take a break from the technology and actually interact and play with their hands, instead of just their fingertips on a screen.

The concept is relatively simple of pulling cards of different set-ups to build and then launching the Angry Birds at the structure.

Parents might need to step-in to help little kiddos assemble the structures or provide some guidance on how to work the catapult. Assembling the structure exactly to the picture on the cards takes some doing, but it's not impossible. It's pretty difficult to hit anything with the catapult, but it's fun to try and try again. If you're actually trying to win, it might be good to bend the rules to allow enough tries to hit something, particularly if you have young children. For us, we take turns building it, while the other keeps trying until it gets knocked down. Simple.

I am going to take a different stance on this review. My son loves this set. The thing is, he doesn't play it by the rules so I can't describe how it is. Under normal circumstances, this game is not easy as aiming the birds in a 3-D world is a lot different than on a 2-D phone screen. My boy doesn't use it as a game though. He uses it as a toy. He does make-believe like you would any other toy set. In that regard, he has a lot of fun with it. He creates his own set-ups and takes his other toys to add some flare to his "levels" and proceeds to do his own thing. He also combines this with the other boxed game to create bigger levels with more pigs and birds. So basically, used as a toy, it's really cool. Used as a game, I don't know, I haven't really tried it other than to try to aim with the catapult (and I did it poorly).

Fairly entertaining, but can be a little frustrating too.We added Mulligans to our game play... you get three re-shoots per game.Might have to be higher though it's hard to be consistent with that little slingshot!!Setting them up is fun though, and it's VERY satisfying once you're finally able to get the knack for knocking those suckers off their little perches ;)

My mother and I bought the "on thin ice" game for my niece. She is five years old and loves angry birds.Just for the giggles of it, we cracked it open to give it a test.We both thought the idea was really good, however there was one problemthe launcher is absolutely useless. The bird either flies straight up or it only flies a few inches. We could not imagine how a 5 year old would be able to figure out the mechanics of it.Perhaps I might be able to macguyver a slingshot that would work better.Either way, this game is virtually unplayable.

Okay, so the game is rated for kids 5 and up, and I read a few people's reviews on this game saying that their kids couldn't do this game by themselves and they were 5+ years old... I think it depends on the kid!!!My child JUST turned 3 and he loves playing Angry Birds on his Kindle Fire, he especially loves the Space version but plays Rio, Seasons, and the original version as well. That being said, I bought the Knock on Wood game thinking he wouldn't use the cards because of his age, and just play his own way.WRONG.My child loves this series of games, he builds the structures BY HIMSELF using the cards!!!It is a lot of fun, he will build one structure (Even level 300!) and then I will launch the birds and knock it down. Then I will build a structure and he will knock it down launching the birds.TONS of fun.Granted, if you buy only ONE of these games, buy the Knock on Wood game, as the birds you get (black, yellow, red) and the wood colored pieces is a better set.Otherwise, when you buy more than one set it makes the freestyle building more fun.In fact, we just purchased the Mega Smash set from Amazon and hope to have even more fun building structures. The Mega Smash set comes with blue bird, black bird, yellow bird, and white bird plus 4 pigs (it should be here tomorrow).I also added the large Angry Birds Indoor/Outdoor game to my cart to purchase later to play outdoors.I think taking the video game and making these fun board games is great, because the child takes a break from the video game and plays an interactive board game with family members or friends.Plus, it is great for learning sharing for the younger kids, and also hand eye coordination and connection by using the cards to build the structures.Children have to think to match the pieces they are using to the cards.5 stars for the whole series from this family!

Franklin Sports Future Champs Youth Football Goal Post Set No. 14266

Franklin Sports Future Champs Youth Football Goal Post Set No. 14266I bought this for my teenage son and his friends who are always playing "street football" in the neighorhood yards etc. For the price, it is very durable ( they use theeir own real football though instead of the mini one it comes with) and it has several flag markers for added effects. The goal post can be set at two heights and they have put it up and taken it down many times now and its held up to the "big kid" abuse just fine. lol Great fun for all ages.

My 7 year old LOVED this gift.He is the biggest football fan ever and loves the challenge of kicking the football through the uprights. It's the biggest goal post around I could find so that part is great. I just wish it was better made. The plastic started to crack right were it clips together on the post (a month after we got it).If they had made it of a more solid plastic (the plastic is pretty thin) it would have lasted a lot longer. We taped it up and so far it's holding together, but for how long who knows.

I bought this item as a self-birthday present, and it arrived on the day of my birthday! Well, when I put it together in the house, it was some trouble connecting the joints, but otherwise it was HUGE! It comes with a lever in which you can raise and put the posts higher or lower.

A few days later when I play with it-the ball contained was very small. Therefore I went out and bought a new ball WITH a kicking tee (it wasn't in the box when it said it was) and when I kicked it, it hit it and it cracked! EDIT: I just played with is yesterday... and it completely broke.

This is small and cheap, but my 7-year-old LOVES it!

The goal post is thin plastic (you could build a much stronger one yourself using PVC pipe). At it's tallest setting, it's 4-feet wide by 6-feet high (to the top of the uprights), with a 49 inch high crossbar. It has a 12.5-inch diameter circular stand that you fill with water, which is sufficient to keep the goal-post self-standing, but it will fall if hit hard by a football.

The mini-football is very mini. Ours measured 6.5 inches long but it wouldn't fully inflate, probably because of a leak, but my 7-year-old likes it being soft.

The included football tee is worthless. It's too wide to hold the included ball, and too lightweight to hold a larger ball without toppling over.

The yard-line markers are 3-inches wide and 4-inches high (before sticking into the ground), and there's only 3 of them (50 yd, 40 yd, 30 yd) as is correctly stated on the box, but is incorrectly stated in Amazon's Product Description.

In summary, I was disappointed with the quality and size, but my 7-year-old LOVES it!

Whac-A-Mole Arcade Game

Whac-A-Mole Arcade GameI bought this for my nearly three year old for Christmas. She played the arcade version and laughed like crazy so I thought this would be fun for her. Unfortunately the moles only light up, they don't pop up even a little bit. Also a note to parents: the sounds coming from this are uber annoying. Bottom line, it's okay for a short while but there are many better toys out there.

Don't let the price fool you on this one. It is very well built and can handle even the hardest whac'r. The game is basic and allows for both single and two player modes. The heads light up to indicate when to whac the mole. The center mole has both color lights (green and red), so both players have to decide when to whac the center mole. Unfortunately, the game can't tell if the wrong person whac'd the center mole. Overall, it's a fun game for the kids.

Tangled Rapunzel Light Up And Sound Vanity (Closed Box)

Tangled Rapunzel Light Up And Sound VanityI happened to order the Rapunzel Vanity Toy Set first by mistake and found out that was for the actual Rapunzel Doll. After realizing the mistake, I re-ordered the Vanity Set but again, was disappointed when I put it together and found out that this is in NO WAY meant for a child 3 or over.It is way too small. My 3 1/2 year old daughter was so excited when she saw it on Christmas morning, but as soon as I did put it together and she went to sit on it...she fell right off!The stool was as low as the ground! This toy is probably more suited for someone much younger/smaller, even though it says for 3+, definitely was not!

I could not believe how tiny this vanity was when I put it together.Like the other reviewer pointed out, the box says ages 3 and up.My daughter is 4 1/2 and has to slump and hunch over on the tiny stool with her knees up around her shoulders to look in the mirror. She doesn't seem to mind, which is pretty amazing, but I am hugely disappointed. The hairbrush arrived smushed in with other accessories and its cheap plastic bristles can't be re-straightened.Description says "Magical lights and sounds" really only one light and one sound. Not worth the price of the batteries.

I'm sorry that I'm laughing reading all these reviews. Amazon needs to change the description so that it is clear that this vanity is for Disney's My First Princess Toddler Dolls, not a child, and not Barbie's.If you buy it and use it the way it was intended, it's a great toy. It says 3+ years and up because that is who is approved to play with it, not sit on it. Video games say 10+ and that doesn't mean it will fit a ten year old inside, lol!

I bought this at Christmas time for $35. Now I wasn't expecting anything amazing but I thought it was going to be a little more then it was.

My daughter is 3 and this is too small for her (she's 42" tall). The seat is the biggest problem. To give you an idea of just how short it is, the entire height of the seat is only 6". The vanity itself is 31" high at the tallest point, with a 6" depth at the widest part of the vanity top.

They also spent a lot of time engineering this piece so they could use the least amount of plastic possible. It's filled with trusses to hold it up. The rigidity is fine but I find it hilarious they went to such extent to make it as cheap as possible especially when you consider the MSRP is supposed to be $70. I would have returned it immediately if I would have spent $70.

I almost returned it but it was too close to Christmas and I didn't have time to go get something else.

In conclusion, I would have to recommend buying something else due to the fact that your child is going to out grow this rather quickly if they are not already too big for it when it arrives.

Whatszats Stacking Rings 12" by Gund

Whatszats Stacking Rings 12' by GundThe rings are soft and the post is, too.I have no fear that my daughter will poke out an eye or hurt herself at all. However, the holes in the rings fit snugly against the post and it makes them absolutely impossible to put back on!They are fun to take off but in order to get them back on you have to feed the ring around your fingertips as you grab the tip of the post through the hole.If the holes had only be made larger it would be great!Adorable to look at and my daughter is not yet old enough to be frustrated with not being able to put it back together, so we are having fun with it still.

Da Vinci Children's Art Desk White Steel Frame, Wood Top and Seat

Da Vinci Children's Art Desk White Steel Frame, Wood Top and SeatThis is an terrific product good looking, made of solid materials and designed to grow with your child. All that at a great price. My 6-year-old son loves it for art projects and schoolwork. It was a terrific addition to our family room. Be forewarned, however, that the assembly process is no fun. Some of the pre-drilled holes were misaligned, and the instructions were not at all clear.

Desks for schoolchildren are surprisingly hard to find in the U.S. Maybe I was not looking well enough, but products I was coming across were either computer desks or cheap plastic tables or art-and-craft rotating tables, but nothing that represented a traditional school desk with angled surface. Then I came across this desk, which comes with its own chair. It looks very similar to a German StepByStep desk made by VS Moebel (google for it). The German product is not available in the U.S., so this Da Vinci desk seemed the next best thing, and I bought it.

Pros:

The desk is adjustable for height and surface angle. The chair is adjustable for height. The laminated surface is reasonably durable unless your child tries writing on it with a ballpen. There is a round holder that can be used for a plastic cup filled with pencils and pens. There is also a holder for a single pen. A stopper at the closest end of the working surface prevents books and papers from sliding down. The edge of the desk is trimmed with rubber.

Cons:

It was not low enough for my 5-year old, but my son is growing up fast, so currently he does not need a foot-step anymore. The seating surface of the chair is too deep, so the back is too far from my son when he sits upright, I attached a soft pillow to the seat back.

The horizontal and the angled portions of the desk are connected with a piece of rubber, not with a metal hinge, so potentially this construction is not very robust. On another hand, you would not be adjusting the desk for angle very often, because it is quite hard to do, a child cannot do it for sure, a parent must do it by literally hitting the surface from below to make it move. Not a biggie, but unlike the German product that can be adjusted by a child, this one cannot (depends on a child, of course).

Building it together was a bit complicated. You need to have basic tools like a screwdriver, a wrench and a hammer. Without using a hammer you will have hard time tightening the bolts with flat head used in the chair. Maybe you can use an electric drill with a socket, but I did not have it. The holes in the seating surface and the back of the seat are round, but the bolts have square necks to ensure they are sitting in the holes and not moving. Trying to tighten them without hammering them first into the holes proved unsuccessful, the bolts would rotate and not sit it the hole. Bottom line: you will need some strong hands to build together the chair. The desk itself can be put together almost effortlessly, save for couple of bolts with broken thread.

The desk surface was chipped on the reverse side, no one sees it from above, but this says enough about quality control and means of production. I did not bother replacing it, after all it does not affect the functionality.

Overall:

All it all, this is a decent desk and chair that can grow with your child. You just need to go through some frustration while you assemble it.

They arrived promptly, easy to assemble and worth the $119 price. However we did have shipping issues in that the pencil tray is cracked in one and the laminate in some places chipped. They were shipped in their original boxes without additional padding and must have gotten banged up.I still love them and the adjustability is wonderful for as they grow.

Friends Trivia In A Tin

Friends Trivia In A TinMy friends and I are obsessed with Friends like, so obsessed that we've never missed an episode, can quote it at the drop of a hat, etc. Needless to say, we were really excited to try the game out!!

The game rules are simple, you go around the board trying to get "items" from the Friends apartments (ex: Phoebe's guitar, Ross' keyboard, etc.) by answering questions. For each question answered correctly you get an "item" you have to get one from each Friend to win the game. There are also charades (which are pretty much impossible to do without props!) My only complaint about the game is: it seems to be very cheaply made. Some of the questions aren;t numbered, written upside down, and some of the answers are followed by question marks (ex: What's Phoebe's dorky boyfriend's name? Answer: David?) so does that mean the people who made up the questions don't even know? And, the other thing, my friends and I are really obsessed, and found some wrong answers on the cards.

I know it sounds like I hate the game, and I haven't said one good thing about it. It is really fun, and pretty challenging. The most fun is the charades, because they're sooooooo difficult! As I said though, if you're not a huge fan of the show, don't play the game. Some of the questions are really hard (ex: What is the name of the record store across the street from Central Perk?), and others are really simple (ex:What is Chandler's middle name? & Which of the Friends mother killed herself?). I recommend the game for hardcore fans of the show. It's insanely fun!

Overal grade: A

I am a HUGE Friends fan and bought this game thinking that it would be fun. After playing it, I am disappointed that I even bought this game, as it is not at all what I expected.

The game comes in a large tin which is mostly full of a large, plastic insert that holds all the game components--trivia cards, coffee card, game board, item score sheets, instructions and game pieces. This game could easily have fit in a much smaller container. The game as a whole is durable, but the prized "coffee card" will not last for very long. It needs to be laminated as it rips and tears very easily. The game pieces are your standard colored, plastic pegs (similar to Sorry or Clue) but are made of a much cheaper/lower quality plastic. The game board is a four-fold game board and there is also a pad of item score sheets.

The instructions are very vague with complex rules that can be difficult to understand. It takes 3-4 rounds for everyone to feel comfortable with the rules and to stop referencing the instructions. One major complaint is that some player's turns end up being several minutes long due to the poorly designed rules. You need to wait for a player to get a question wrong before the next player can have a turn. If you're playing with more than 3 people, the turns can get very long--especially if a player gets some easy questions.

The object of the game is to collect objects from all the Friends apartments and mark them off on the item score sheet. You can only collect certain items from specific Friends apartments. The restrictions are hidden in the rules and it would be better if they were printed on the item score sheets. I don't understand the point of these item sheets. It seems pointless to mark off a page of items when it would be so much easier just to keep score. The item score sheets are just an un-needed element that adds to the complexity of the game.

I have seen every episode several times, but some of the questions are really tough. There are a lot of questions about things that are in the background that you would never notice or about minor characters that appeared on the show. There are roughly 200 question cards with 5 questions on each card and a Charades option. That makes roughly 1,000 questions for the game and 200 Charade options. Several questions are even repeated on several cards. However, I think that there should be a lot more question cards for a "trivia" game about a show that has been on tv for over 9 years.

After playing this game several times, you start getting some of the cards that were already read for previous questions. The Charades option (if you roll a star) can be fun to act out if you have decent action, but for the most part, the Charades are too difficult to act out without speaking or giving a clue to the other players.

Overall, the game is so-so. The complexity of the rules & instructions, as well as the small amount of trivia cards that come with the game, is why I rated this so low. I don't think that I will play this game all that much. It is not what I expected and it's just as fun and enjoyable to read the questions without playing the complex game.

If you're obsessed with Friends, like me, you'll most likely love this game. You won't have fun with it, though, if you haven't watched the show frequently, because most of the questions are regarding a certain episode.

You don't even need to play it with the board to have fun. Sometimes my friend(s) and I just quiz each other with the cards. Sometimes, when I'm bored to death, I just quiz myself.

This game is totally worth it for any Friends fan!

This game is meant for friends fanatics only. It is a little hard to understand the rules initially and we were a little confused. However once we started playing we figured it out. The game is not very well thought out as one player's turn can go on for many minutes while other players have absolutely no involvement. And as we said before if you are not a die-hard friends fan you will not be able to answer these questions nor will you appreciate this game. Overall if you watch FRIENDS religiously it is alot of fun!

Legendary Encounters Ghost

Legendary Encounters GhostThis piece is small to but still I liked it. I used it in minature halloween display with Lemax figures.

Don't you hate it when people review an item, complaining about how small it is and that the size wasn't in the description? Yet they never include the size in their own complaint? The figure is exactly 2 inches tall (from the base to the point of the hood) and 1.75 inches wide (from fingertips to the point of hood).

Yes, this item is small and plastic but I absolutely LOVE the paint job. The ghost itself is sky blue with some VERY nice white dry-brushing (and red eyes).

I just wish that exact sizing on each figure was included in the item description. Probably wouldn't have affected my decision to order it, either way.

Sunday Funnies NightstandThis nightstand is very well built and the colors are bright and vibrant.

The drawers slide easily and can contain quite a large amount of things.

The top drawer is actually just a flat slab with very little clearance but it is great for storing pens, papers, or magazines.

POOF-Slinky 2290 Slinky Brand Pik-Up Stiks

POOF-Slinky 2290 Slinky Brand Pik-Up StiksThe Pick-Up Sticks is an ancient Chinese game of concentration, skill and patience. The original set of sticks is made of bamboo, with both ends with a sharp point, and in groups of different colors. In this toy, the sticks are made of plastic, with a little ball in the extremes instead of the point (safety for kids) and come in a convenient tube for safekeeping. It's a very good game for kids from 4 to 12 years, especially in stormy days.

Through no fault of Amazon.com, I did not get exactly what I expected.I did not read the description carefully enough. My only experience has been with wooden pik-up stiks. The plastic ones with the little bulbs on the end will make it difficult to play the way my family is used to.Hopefully we will get used to these as well. Also, I don't believe there were instructions with these, or very few.For those members of my family who have never played, it will make it difficult for them to learn.Overall, I was disappointed, but not entirely Amazon.com's fault.

You can't use a stick to lift an intended stick without moving another stick. I am sure you understand what I'm trying to say if you ever played it with the original style sticks. It's no fun and pointless with this new style. I was unable to see the ball ends of the sticks from the product photo and never thought to look harder to try and make out what the ends looked like.Would not recommend and would not buy again. Might as well discontinue making this game if they are like these.
