Fashion Studio (ArtLab)

I bought this fashion studio for my six year old daughter for xmas, and it is by far her favorite gift.She had to have it open immediately and, as soon as I found some batteries, she was creating outfits.A bonus, I think it would be fun to create my own outfits, if she'll ever give me a turn.My only con to the set is that the pieces don't really come with a container or case.They don't fit it the plastic shelf that holds the light box and the pencils, so if we're not careful, I'm afraid pieces will get lost.Luckily, they all fit nicely in a sandwich size, ziploc bag, and after explaining to my daughter that if she lost the pieces it wouldn't be fun anymore, I'm confident we can keep it all together.Plus, you don't have to demolish the box to get everything out so hopefully it will hold up for a while to hold everything neatly.

I bought this for my 9 year old niece for christmas and she loved it!The light box is fantastic.Only drawback I could see with this product is that there seemed to be too few blank papers to use on the lightbox.I used copy paper and cut it into thirds to give my niece an ample supply of blank paper that would fit the lightbox.It was easy enough to do.I highly recommend this for any little girl interested in fashion design.

My daughter liked everything about this product.We did have to make some adjustments about the light table usage because the batteries were burning out to fast, but we have a special corner of the play area just for this toy and for posting the completed designs.Good for concentration, fine motor skills and creativity.Just don't tell the kids

I found this item to be just "OK",it did not hold mine or my daughters interest for very long & we did not think that the traced & completed projects looked very realistic in comparison to the klutz book "my style studio" which produces finished products that are much more realistic, even for people like myself for whom drawing is not a strong point. My personal advice is to go for the Klutz released book "my style studio" instead.My Style Studio: Design & Trace Your Own Fashions (Klutz)

I bought this for my 9 yr old, she loves to draw girls and loves fashion. She's been creating outfits and different girls by changing their hairstyles and haircolor. I would recommend this for any girl, my younger daughters also love it.
