Bought this for our daughter's 2nd birthday.Bought from TRU on sale for $37 their regular price even is cheaper than amazon's listed price so I would research before buying here.She loves this table!We were always having to tell her to keep out of the dogs water dish so figured this would be something she liked.The quality is good and it is pretty stable she of course wants to climb up and sit inside of it and though I worried about it tipping or collapsing it hasn't.The little figures go down the chute when you push the lever in the back and they are so cute!it is easy to clean and yes it is messy but what do you expect from this kind of toy?We keep ours out on the back patio.You can fill both sides with water if you do not want the hassle of cleaning the sand or having to replace it.We happen to live 1 mile from the beach so replenishing it with fresh sand is no problem for us and free :)I would definitely recommend this toy especially for those little ones who enjoy water play.You can get more use of the accessories as well by using them in the bathtub they are just as much fun there!We considered buying the pirate ship but it was twice as much $ and requires batteries.I gave four stars on quality because when assembling ours ( which is very simple ) one of the parts was missing a hole we just used our drill and make it ourselves and it was fine.But it was a pain that it was missed at the factory.The good side the pieces are easy to snap together (when all the holes are there) and are reinforced with screws so it is very sturdy.

Great toy for hours of fun, but it is only $49.99 at Toys R Us!Grandchildren love to play in the water and sand.

First of all, my daughter loves this table. She loved it even before we put any water in it. The play elements are all fun for her--she loves putting the characters into the tower and flipping down the slide, loves using the boats, loves the diving boards and the shovel and the scoop.

However, this toy seems like a brilliant first draft. Too many little things don't quite work.

One of the characters doesn't actually fit down the slide unless you turn it perfectly. It gets stuck, which is annoying.

The little boats aren't the ones pictured and don't rest on the indentations near the tower. There's not a stable place to put them.

The scooper doesn't fit on the edge as pictured, either. It only fits on the bar between the sand and the water sides.

There should be a drain on both sides, for when you decide to use water both times.

There should be covers for both sides, so you can keep the water OR sand protected while you eat lunch or over a single night. I don't leave water in there for multiple days, but if we leave it for a few hours, it gets debris. I'd like to just close it up.

The screws they claim you need are the wrong size. The 3/4 screws were too large. A handy, well-stocked person might just sort that out in a second, but it took me two trips to the hardware store on a hot afternoon with a toddler. I was not happy.

The diving boards don't quite work--that sounds weird, put if you depress them, the characters will flip out. Of the water table. Think how fun it would be to have them work--push them a bit and flip the characters INTO the water.

As other reviewers have mentioned, putting water into the central tower means a fairly steady stream of water that leaks. that's not a big deal at all--splashed and dumped water happens anyway, including with the drain at the end, but it would be fun to have that water all do something more interesting.

overall, though, it's a bit larger than ones I've seen, which is great, and encouraging of imaginative play, which is great. My daughter LOVES it and I'm glad we bought it at TRU, for $30.

Our two children, 17 months and 4 years old, love this table! However, I think they would enjoy virtually any water table kids love mess and water.

As others have mentioned, this water table (as most currently on Amazon) are selling for less at stores like TRU, Walmart, second-hand consignment stores, etc. That's not a big deal, just beware always check the MSRP before buying.

As I mentioned, the kids love the water table. However, Mom & Dad have a few issues with it.

First, there is only one cover for one side of the table; it only fits on the side where the sand should be. I do not anticipate putting sand in this table, only because I can't imagine how I would a ton of excess water from the sand side of the table (the sand side does not have a filter/drain at the bottom). I would not put the sand on the side with the drain because the cover would not fit with the "diving" boards attached.

Secondly, the water side has a drain, but the drain leaks the entire time during play since it does not fit securely!! At first I was so upset because I would either need to constantly refill the table as my kids enjoy splashing and scooping the water out to begin with. However, I view it as a near blessing. Once the water completely is drained from the diving board side through the bottom drain, play time up and the fun is done. I don't have to pull my kids away screaming if we have activities that we need to do after the water table.

On the box, you will see two small floatation devices pictured under the tower with the boy and girl figurine resting in them, but my assumption is that they were choking hazards and they have redesigned the floatation devices. They are nearly the size of a child's face, and they only float they are not meant to sit under the tower. The picture on Amazon is pretty accurate the toy figurines are meant to stand in the indentations.

Overall, it is a fun toy and the kids love it. I am learning to adjust to the leaky drain until I decide to find a modable material that will properly plug the drain.

Poor design.

The sand clogs up the sand wheel and it doesn't turn at all.

The diving board flips the little people OUT onto the ground.

There's only a cover for ONE side-the sand side or the water side, and it doesn't even fit properly even then !

The mechanism that flips the people down the slide works only occasionally.

Buy something else.

24 silk flowers for such a low price, I thought it was a deal. But like they say if it's too good to be true, it probably is. The flowers came crumpled in a small bag. And they're not silk flowers, they're something my four year old niece could beat in a crafts competition. Here's how the "flower" is structured. a green colored piece of cheap material in the shape of the figure 8. Then a flat piece of cheaper cloth cut to shape five petals mind you, it's all one flat cloth. Then lay it on top of each other and poke a plastic stamen through. That's your tropical flower for tabletop decoration.

I am only thankful the Gods didn't take cheap shortcuts when they created the real hibiscus.

These were horrible! There was no way I would have used them at the bridal shower for my niece. The flowers were just shoved into a little bag, and they were wrinkled beyond belief, and they wont even think about holding any kind of shape.They looked like a crinkled up piece of fabric. I ended up throwing them into the trash.

Yes, these flowers were cheap in price...but also cheap in quality.I purchased these for a school fundraiser.They squish 24 of these flowers into a small bag.When you take them out they remain squished.So, I ironed them (I ordered 13 bags) and then sprayed them with heavy duty hairspray so they would keep a shape to them.Alot of work, but dangit I was not going to throw them away.You have to handle them carefully too, as the stamens may "pull out" from the fabric.I always check on reviews before I order stuff...but for some reason I did not check on these.Save your money and just go to a craft store/dollar store and purchase your fake flowers there.

I don't know why I didn't read the reviews for these flowers before I purchased them, I always check reviews before I buy :( These flowers are definitely worth their money...cheap and worthless.They were stuffed in the tiny plastic bag and are all creased flat and wrinkled.I am hoping that letting them sit out for a while will help, and if not, I am hoping to help shape them better with a hair dryer.Will let you know how that turns out, I'm not too hopeful. I will be returning the unopened package if the hairdryer doesn't help.

I used them for a tropical-themed birthday party and they worked great.They came all mashed together in a plastic bag, and I though, oh great, they'll be all flat and squished up.But they fluffed out just fine and I used them to decorate a cake and to throw about on the table.There were plenty in one bag to serve my purposes.

I was very happy to find this product for my 7th grandchild. All the other grandchildren have a different brand of a prayer lamb but that one is no longer in production I was very disappointed, but very happy to find this one by Gund.

Lamb is super soft and snuggable.Prayer is sweet, but perhaps a bit loud for newborn or infants tender ears.Since it is not easily triggered, I didn't think it was too much of a hassle.

LeapFrog Phonics Writing Desk

My 3 year old was having trouble remembering the "ABC song" until she got this toy for Christmas. After playing with it for a fewweeks, she could sing her ABC's. Her little brother now knows all theletters of the alphabet by sight, and I think this toy helped him withthat.

The letters are very bright, the toy is really pretty and theplastic is nice and shiny. The letters are affixed, so there aren't anypieces to lose. Attached to it is a sort of a pen (not sharp, the point israther rounded) which is used to write the letter on the little writing pad(it's magnetic no ink!) There is also a little display where the computerdirects the child as he or she writes the letter -it will say,"A" then the letter "A" is written in the display, sothe child can see HOW to write it. You can choose upper or lowercase.

There are several levels here just touch a letter and the voicesays it's name and writes it for you. Or the voice says the letter, and youhave to find it and push it. The voice is very pleasant, as well.

We arevery happy with this toy, but the writing pad has become difficult to use,but honestly, we have 6 kids here and no toys last forever. We had this oneabout 6 months before the writing pad got messed up, and it has been playedwith a great deal.

All in all, I think it's a wonderful product. The onlything I would complain about is that it doesn't do letter SOUNDS at allonly letter names, hence the 4 stars for educational value.

We bought this toy 3 Christmas's ago, for Joseph our 2 1/2 year old (He is now 5 1/2).He had personally asked for the Phonics Writing Desk and he has played with it for hours on end. I think it was an assest in his ability to read before going to Kindergarten.He now has renewed interested in it since his 3 year old brother Benjamin is constantly playing with it.Ben especailly loves it that he can write his name BEN with it and then it actually says his name.He has learned to write about 30 three letter words in the past two weeks.Some of his favorites include; Mom, Dad, jet, jam, eye, ear, hid, and bed.Ben has learned how to write a lot of his letters from watching the toy.The place to write on has been ruined for quite a while but he tries it on paper after watching the machine show how to form each letter.

This toy was an enjoyable gift for my daughter who is currently engrossed in learning to write her letters and spell anyhow and likes toys withbuttons in general. My only complaints are that the toy often turns itselfoff before she has a chance to complete writing her word-it does not reallyprovide enough time for a beginning writer to complete this task. My son (just turned 3) has been using this for about six months now. I originally bought it as he knew his upper case letters, but couldn't seem to understand that the lower case were the same letters. Now he has that (calls them Mommy letters and Baby letters), knows both upper and lower case letters, can spell EAT, MOM, BUG, HUG, BUS, BIG, and CAT, and he is beginning to actually write letters with it! His OT (occupational therapist) had been urging us to get him to work more on his writing and drawing at home, but we couldn't seem to grab and hold his interest for more than a few minutes. Now I just say, "Hey, let's do some ABC's," and he RUNS to get this out! I draw the same letter on a piece of paper next to him while he works on the little screen for up to forty-five minutes. I cannot tell you how happy we are with this! Even my mother, who LOATHES electronic toys, can't get over how great this one is! I look forward to graduating to future Leapfrog products as he gets older.

This toy is wonderful. The item description provided is exact. It teaches letters, phonics, spelling, and writing. It even teaches BOTH lower case and upper case letters! Especially neat; when your child presses a letter, for instance D, it says the letter D than the phonics sound (if you have the switch set to phonics) and then the little screen clearly shows just how to write the letter properly. I plays a couple song notes as it shows the first line being drawn downward then up and into the curve for the letter D. Then, it invites the child to write the letter D in the writing space below. As the child writes, it continues to display the correct motions to write the letter D properly so that the beginner child can easily copy the motion. My 3-year olds first attempt was definately messy but you could see her concentrating on copying the screen and you could see the 'rough outline' of the attempted letter. This is a great toy. Traditionally, these electronic toys have not been taken out much at our home. However, I feel this will be used. And I have recently discovered that the electronic toys like this that fit on a lap work perfect in the car. They don't have to compete there with trucks and little 'busy toys', your child is occupied and learning something without much to divert him/her, and you can travel in peace-for a time. You simply can't go wrong with this toy.

Very nice, but very dark. They are a lot darker than they look in the picture. They are more brown-ish than copper. They are pretty, but made the room much, much darker. I will probably replace them.

Games Workshop has outdone itself with this set.The models look fantastic and while most of us would blush at paying 100 dollars, even for people who play space marines or chaos, these models are unavailable outside this set.Additionally if one were to add up the cost fo the models individually, then this set becomes more than worth the money.Plus for the first time since Battle for Macragge, there are inbuilt scenarios allowing players to start their wars right out of the box.With the mini-rulebook and all else needed to play this set is excellent for beginning and experieced hobbiests alike.

I actually bought this through GW's site because I knew it would go fast, but I must that I'm pretty impressed with this.So, I know it says it's snap-fit models and they technically are but I would still highly suggest using a little bit of glue on the snap pegs for most of the models.I'm a really slow builder but I was able to get this whole set put together in what seemed like no time at all (even with my 2 year old interrupting me and other such things, Hah!).The quality of the models is really nice, there was next to no flash, but there are some pretty pronounced "seams" on some of the models.Not really a big deal, considering everything else.My only gripe, there were some incorrect instructions for building (though it was VERY simple to figure out what piece they meant) the models (Incorrect numbering, luckily the pictures were right so it wasn't a big deal), some of the models didn't snap-fit quite right, and there's some typos on the inserts that came with it that pertain only to the dark vengeance set.Again, not a big deal but still something that should have been caught.

The mini rulebook is fantastic!The set comes with templates/blast markers (which I needed), a scatter die and six d6, and 2 measuring sticks.All in all, this is probably the best 100 bucks I spent on GW merchandise since I started gaming (which was really only about 3 years ago).

You get dices, two books, two sheets ( one for how you put models together and one about reference to some of the most important game rules ), blast templates ( for flamer, ML's and artillery ) and two army's.

I say for this amount of money you literary pay only DA while get everything else for free, I advice everyone who has money to buy it. It is worth every penny.

I knew these were going to be quality counter height stools the moment I opened the cartons. The packaging was superior to any online order I've ever received. There was no sorting of screws, bolts, washers, etc. Tucked neatly into the chair bottom were separate packages of the above, each labeled with its contents. Directions were clearly WRITTEN as well as pictured. I hate it when I have to look at diagrams to try to discern their meanings!

The chair itself is very sturdy, nicely finished, and of very good quality. It looks like it did online-not sure how another's monitor would display it.

I bought two of these stools for my small kitchen. I purchased a counter height 4' X 2' table to serve the dual purpose of snack bar and work space. They fit perfectly.

If your shopping for this type of stool, rest assured you won't be disappointed with this one!

I received this chair about a week ago.It's sturdy and comfortable.The packaging was great and the chair was easy to put together.

My one comment, which I have already submitted to amazon, is that the image is misleading.Because there are two chairs in the picture, I initially thought I had ordered 2 chairs.I was surprised several days later when only 1 chair arrived.I thought that perhaps 1 chair was delayed in shipping until I re-read the description and noticed there was no mention of the set that's pictured.

It's not necesarily amazon's fault; I take credit for not reading the description as closely as I should have, but perhaps only picturing a single chair will prevent future confusion from customers.

These are well made and heavy duty. The color was a little different than we thought so it didn't match our glazed white cabinets. These were a much brighter white than we thought. That's not the fault of the furniture, just the nature of buying online. We had to send it back because they didn't match. Otherwise, these are great stools.

Matchbox Real Talking Stinky Truck - Mini Stinky

Wow, I'm so amazed at the other reviewers account of this toy. We love it. The truck caught my eye at a toy store, and my son who is under 3 loves playing with it, the voice is hilarious, so New York, and I think it's very interactive and a positive toy. Now I'm looking for the "stinky" book which someone at a playground told me about when they saw my son with the truck, their son was also obsessed with the truck, great for little hands.

My Grandson loves this truck.He specifically asked for Stinky the Truck & loves playing with it & hearing it talk.He immediately bursts into laughter when he hears the voice.I would buy this product again for another child.Also the customer service at this seller is excellent.They really strive to make a customer "happy".

First let me say, my boys, 3 and 5, adore this toy.He says cute stuff like the big one and lights up and stands up (by pressing a button)and is a fraction of the price of the large one... but he does NOT have an off switch.He will talk randomly....in the middle of the night...or wrapped underneath the Christmas tree....and it will be annoying. I had to hide mine in the lofts of the attic before Christmas in order for my boys to not hear him carrying on about how stinky he is.Otherwise, a nice little substitute if you can't get the larger one.Be sure to take it out of their rooms for naps or bed, otherwise you will have to bust in and remove the chatty fellow before he wakes everyone up.

This was a present for our 2 1/2 son at Christmas and it makes him laugh every time!Even his 6 year old brother gets a chuckle out of it.The retail price is $9.99 but as they get more difficult to find, I've noticed the prices continue to increase online.Also, we've been discussing potty training and so he's used to us asking if he's stinky probably why it's so funny when the garbage truck asks!We love it and it's a great alternative to the more expensive, larger and possibly scarier model.We probably get the same amount of play out of this one as we would the larger one so the price and portability of the "mini" is PERFECT!The big decision for us is which "mini" to get next!

My 3 year old fell in love with the full size Stinky truck at the store so when I found the mini Stinky truck I was elated.It was just under 1/2 the price of the full size truck so I assumed it would be close to half the size of the large truck as well. When I received the mini Stinky I was shocked at the size and quality of the mini Stinky. It is 1/3 the size of the full size Stinky at best and definitely not durable enough to be pressed on to make it talk and go back down on all wheels.I am hoping this toy lasts until Easter!Unfortunately,I would not recommend this particular toy!

Fun questions that prompt fun and meaningful answers from women who are married with kids.I find it tends to be geared more towards them.That being said, there are a lot of questions that don't apply to the single, kidless crowd.So, if you fit that scenario, this might not be the card set for you.

I have read the questions on the Original Table Topics, and I found them much more engaging.I thought they were more thought provoking, and if I was able to trade this set for them, I would.

Some of the questions in this set include, "Which of your children would you want to take care of you in your old age?""if you had one week by yourself at home what would you do?" "if something were to happen to you who would you pick to replace you in your family" "what view would you love from your kitchen window".While these are interesting questions, I found them a little flat and boring.

So, this review is coming from the perspective of a single, kidless person in her 30's who doesn't view herself as the domesticated girly girl.If you fit this description, you might want to pass on this set and choose the Original Table Topics instead.

I purchased this for a Girl's Weekend getaway this fall and we got so caught up in it we never got around to watching our Chick Flicks.Made the six of us feel closer (and many of us have known the others for years).It also encouraged the ones who don't talk as much as the others to do so -great for women of all ages.

This was great to use to pick back up the conversation during a lull. We had so much fun with it that we kept seeing what the next card would ask. It is great for get togethers.

I did take out some of the 'downer' cards before using the set. But there really weren't many of those.

The box is really nice, and the questions are thought provoking and/or can bring out some fun and hilarious stories and explanations! You will talk about things, and learn things about your friends that you might not have otherwise.

I used one of the reviewer's tips and had everyone draw a few cards and only read those that they were comfortable with, or dig back in for some more interesting topics. That was a great idea! Everyone loved it so much they wanted to pull out more cards just to see what other things they could find out about everyone.

Lots of fun!

I bought this fashion studio for my six year old daughter for xmas, and it is by far her favorite gift.She had to have it open immediately and, as soon as I found some batteries, she was creating outfits.A bonus, I think it would be fun to create my own outfits, if she'll ever give me a turn.My only con to the set is that the pieces don't really come with a container or case.They don't fit it the plastic shelf that holds the light box and the pencils, so if we're not careful, I'm afraid pieces will get lost.Luckily, they all fit nicely in a sandwich size, ziploc bag, and after explaining to my daughter that if she lost the pieces it wouldn't be fun anymore, I'm confident we can keep it all together.Plus, you don't have to demolish the box to get everything out so hopefully it will hold up for a while to hold everything neatly.

I bought this for my 9 year old niece for christmas and she loved it!The light box is fantastic.Only drawback I could see with this product is that there seemed to be too few blank papers to use on the lightbox.I used copy paper and cut it into thirds to give my niece an ample supply of blank paper that would fit the lightbox.It was easy enough to do.I highly recommend this for any little girl interested in fashion design.

I found this item to be just "OK",it did not hold mine or my daughters interest for very long & we did not think that the traced & completed projects looked very realistic in comparison to the klutz book "my style studio" which produces finished products that are much more realistic, even for people like myself for whom drawing is not a strong point. Alex Monster Art Center in Aluminum Case - Four 8.5" X 12" Trays of Art Materials

I thought this would be the perfect gift for my budding 4 year old artist. Was I ever wrong! The nicest thing about this 'art' center is the case it comes in. The crayons and oil pastels have barely any color pigmentsthe oil pastels are almost entirely wax. The color pencils are not much better, and the water color tubes are hard to handle for small hands and don't yield better result than the inexpensive kids versions. The markers are okay, but they were not the selling point for me since young children need to experiment with color blending. She's going back to her REAL art supplies.

This is a really sturdy case of so much product for my little artist. She's going to love this when she opens it on X-mas morn. Thank you

We bought this art set for our 6 year old for Christmas 2010. He absolutely loves it. Has kept every pen and pencil in the right place. Very sturdy case. Feels like a "grown up" product to him. Great purchase.

Duck Duck Goose Game

My 3 1/2 year old absolutely loves this game.She likes to sing the song and the pieces are just the right size for her.Some of the cardboard ducks can be a little flimsy but we've had great fun with this game as a family.I also like the fact that the game is short and winning is "luck of the duck" so it helps us as parents work on good sportsmanship while playing multiple times so everyone can win.

I gave this gift to my daughter, all the girls at the party loved the game. A must have game.

I really like it, and think it is a quality toy. The sensor is good, if I clap my hands totally works and play music.

This chess set is easy to set up and very durable. We filled the bottoms with sand because we live in a windy area. They were light enough for 4 years old to lift but heavy enough to withstand the wind. Fit nicely on one foot square cement pavers that we used to make an outdoor chess board on. We are one hundred percent happy with the set.
