Original Wooden Sudoku Board

I just bought one of these yesterday, and was thrilled with it until I tried to do a more difficult puzzle (from a Saturday paper).That's when I realized that the supply of small tiles is completely inadequate.They supply 9 of each number, which is nowhere near enough.I ended up making little cardboard numbers (which were a *huge* pain to use); counting up afterward, I found that I had made a total of 72, including 20 of one number.So there should be at least 3 times as many of the small ones as they give you.

I looked to see if I could get more from the company, but the web site listed on the box no longer exists.

I tried this board at my mothers over christmas and decided I needed one of my own. I love it. It challenges me every day

I like the wooden box and number squares. I don't enjoy the paper and pencil sudoku and if I don't finish the game in the paper right away it gets lost.This game looks good on my coffee talbe and I can leave it and come back to it later. I purchaed this as a gift and one for myself.

I love this board! I put it on my coffee table & I can do it in my free moments. I bought a dollar store book to supplement the book that came with it. Unlike the book that came with it, the dollar store book has puzzles marked easy, hard, & difficult. The wooden tiles are nicely done & have a good feel to them I have added a magic marker line under the 6 to separate it from the 9. I like it better than doing a puzzle in a book! The more you work on the puzzles the better you get at it! Buying it on Amazon saved me quite a bit of money too.

I enjoy sudoko puzzles and have done them whenever and wherever I found them. I have a small electronic one which I got on a flight, on board shopping, and have used it regularly.

I was looking for a larger, more visual and tactile sudoko game when I came across this one. I thought I would try it out and found it to be most enjoyable, beautiful and fun. I have shared games with family and friends and it is a nice way to keep a conversation going and to share solving the puzzle, somewhat like making a jig saw puzzle together. I love the wood format, a nice board with a fine grid and scrabble like blocks. I have used the reverse side numbers (red) for "probable" answers but have not got to the level of using the smaller tiles. I think that this is fast becoming my favorite game to share. A great idea, beautifully executed and the delivery of it was quick and efficient.
