Over the past three decades I have purchased twenty to twenty-five Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls as gifts.They go in and out of style and so it is sometimes easy and some times quite difficult to find a "real" Raggedy Ann or Andy...with "shoe button" eyes and a heart which reads "I Love You".Depending on where I have purchased these dolls, they can also be quite expensive.Ordering from Amazon was the easiest and most reasonably priced experience I have ever had. This doll was for a granddaughter making it 3 generations now who have had the same doll.It is perfect in relation to the old and older generation ladies who had one when they were babies.Yes, they did make them even when the grandma was a baby.
