I bought this lamp for my grandson De'Shawn. I loves this lamp,and I am a happy a satisfied Nanna because my grandson loves it.
It is not for children (fine print) but my 5 year old loves it.I just wish it worked.

Ov er all it is really cool and my 5yr old son loves it!The only reason I did not send it back was because I was able to repair it myself.The connector from the Spiderman head to the actual pulll chain is where the defect lies.It is made of poor quality and weak metal.I am sure this has, and will happen to anyone who buys this lamp.

Received this lamp as a gift for my boys' room.They loved the look of the lamp and were excited to receive it.It is not very bright AT ALL, even using a higher wattage light bulb.However, that is not my main issue.We used it the day we received it, no problem.However, the second time I turned it on, the chain made a "snap" sound, and now it is completely stuck.You are no longer able to pull the chain to turn it on or off; I had to unplug it from the wall in order to turn it off.I will definitely be returning the lamp, not only for it obvious design defect, but also because it barely casts any light in my kids' room.Disappointed, because my boys liked the look of the lamp.
