I use this cleaner before all big table tennis games. It is a cheap alternative to buyingnew rubbers every time you want a stickier paddle. The racket care kit will last you a very long time and it will give you a leg up when playing against friends that have dirty (non sticky) paddles. In additional to cleaning your paddle from time to time I also recommend that you store your paddle in a zip loc plastic bag to avoid the rubber from drying out.

This stuff works well for cleaning paddle rubbers.Really pulls off the grime.Not super sure that it does more than water as regards making the rubber grip the ball better, though.It makes sense that getting the grime and dirt off would make the rubber more efficient than simply wiping with water but I'm not sure lowly recreational players like myself can notice any obvious difference.Still, it's worthwhile to use this every once in a while and maybe use water in between.
