Paper Roll White

This Paper Roll White is 18" wide and 75' in length of white bond paper and is sized just right for use with the Alex Toys Magnetic Artist Easel and the Alex Super Art Table with Paper Roll and Two Benches (as well as other ALEX easels), and it is also compatible with the Melissa & Doug Deluxe Standing Easel.The paper is bright white.At 75' in length, it provides as much usable paper as the 3x25' Melissa & Doug Deluxe Easel Paper (3 pack bundle) rolls for less than half the price.At time of purchase, this roll was cheaper than the comparable 75' roll by M&D, but today the M&D roll is cheaper by almost a dollar.Having used both (ALEX and M&D), I haven't seen any significant difference between the two paper sources.

Depending on what you want to use for, if you are getting paper for kids to doodle on this is perfect.I cannot recommend it for water colors, because it comes apart easily when wet.It can also be used as a photographic backdrop (because it is so bright-white) if handled carefully so as not to cause too many wrinkles.

There is also a 12" wide version and 100' in length Alex Paper Roll White, 12"X100', so make sure you order the appropriate size.

Initial purchase was the Alex Super Art Table with Paper Roll and Two Benches which came with one roll of paper.Once the kids quickly went through that roll, I purchased two of these replacement paper rolls.The paper is a flat white color that nicely accepts pencil, crayon, markers, etc. without difficulty or smearing.The paper is heavy enough to stand up to the typical scribbling of my toddler and school age kids without tearing; however, it is easy enough to tear off sections using the built in plastic paper cutter in our art table.Overall an excellent product at a reasonable price.

The paper quality is nice it's thicker then printer paper, but not as think as cardstock, I was more disappointed that the first foot and a half of the roll was a waste, since the adhesive they used to put their label on didn't come off smoothly. Paper is paper, but personally I'm paying for the roll of paper, so every bit of paper not usedby the consumer(myself or my daughter)is money wasted. I'll probably end up purchasing a different brand next time to see if the same thing happens.
