Barbie Glam Dining Set - Pink

My kids are four a six and really wanted this. The good part is that it has a lot of accessories and can be combined with their other Barbie play sets. They love playing with all of these toys and can spend a long time in imaginative play.

There are a few negatives. It's nearly impossible to get a doll to sit at the table. They don't fit well into the chairs and they tend to fall over. I've managed to fit two dolls across the table from eachother, but that was by cantelevering their legs under the table. The other negative is that there are a ton of tiny pieces. Again, this isn't a big deal in our house (we store all tiny pieces in a container with a lid) but might be an issue in a house with smaller children.

The girls really like this toy and play with it, in conjunction with their other sets, often.

I bought this item for my daughter who just turned 5.She loves Barbie but the dining room table and chairs are not sturdy at all.They keep falling over and are not well made.The accessories (utensils, plates, etc.) are too small to play with.The lamp already broke. I would not recommend this product.

This Barbie furniture set is very pretty and a lot of fun to play with, it includes an expandable table, 4 chairs and a lamp and comes with a lot of accessories plates, glasses, food, etc. The table and the chairs are sturdy, but the lamp is very flimsy as are some of the smaller accessories they constantly fall off the table which can be really frustrating at times. I like that the chairs are just the right size for Barbie dolls and that Barbies can "sit" without falling off...however, Barbies' legs don't fit very well under the table, so if your/your child's (children's) Barbie dolls have bendable legs it might be a good idea to bend them (the legs, that is). If the legs don't bend, you might want to put a chair with a Barbie in it a bit further from the table, especially if you are trying to place two dolls across from one another. Other than that, I think it's a great toy. My 5-yr old loves it and plays with it all the time she has a lot of fun rearranging plates, glasses, cakes, etc. It also turned out to be a lot more durable than I expected.

Great furniture for Barbie dolls. The best thing is that the table can be made wider by adding another piece in the middle of it and all of the furniture pieces can be taken apart and put back together easily, which is great for storing and putting them away.

I felt the table and chairs were just too flimsy and fell apart too easily. Still, my daughter seems to be enjoying herself so I give it three stars... I believe Mattel could've done much better.
