Harry Potter-Expecto Patronum Harry 8'' Deluxe Action Figure

I just bought this toy in store for my 12 year old son. We are both avid Potter fans. We thinks the toy is wonderful but are let down by one major flaw in the toy. The spell is supposedly Expecto Patronum, but none of the "Spells" that come with the toy resemble a patronum. If your looking for accuracy, this won't do the trick. If your looking for a cool toy then it's perfect

Let's face it, Harry is getting to be a big boy now.This figure captures that very well.The attention to detail is brilliant.Purchasing it only as a collectable, I'm very pleased with this action figure.I only hope that there is a Ron or Hermione figure out if another movie is made, so that I'll have all three of the youngsters for my collection.

The toy shoots its "spells" like any other toy of this caliber.It isn't very educational unless you think that kids will read more "Harry" books after being inspired by this toy.The toy holds up very well, but I've only used it a couple of times because I purchased it simply for my collection of figures from film and books.

Wonderful toy, however you can get it for a little over $2 in store at Toys-R-Us while they are having their 70% off sale. I went to Toys-R-Us and bought over $70 worth of Harry Potter toys and it rang up to only $25!

I got it. Wow. It's neat. Almost as if everything's detailed (wrinkles, veins, nails, etc). Three cool spell objects for Harry to use (I think it shoot). I noticed something else. I don't know if it's same house crest patch as seen in HP3. I think it's different in movie. Who knows. I am glad to have it to my collection.

I purchased three of this figure; one to display on my desk, one for my entertainment center, and another for the bookcase in my bedroom. I'm very satisfied with the figure. It was sculpted very realistically, and looks exactly like Harry Potter.

He is no longer a child by the third movie, and it shows in the figure, too. I did not use the plastic magical spell thingies that came with the Harry Potter Expectro Patronum figure, as I felt they detracted from it's realistic appearance.

He looks great with my other Harry Potter figures, and he'll look great with yours, too.

I gave a high rating for durability, because I'm a middle agedman, and have the figure in a plexiglass case...For me, it is for display, not for play, so, at least in this instance, it ought to last the rest of my life. The figure does not look very fragile, though I cannot say how long it would last if it were used for play, but children should have a lot of fun playing with Expecto Patronum Harry Potter. There are small parts, so it is not a good idea to give the figure to a child younger than four years old, due to a choking hazard if parts are swallowed . The figure can be considered educational, as it could encourage children to read the Harry Potter books.

I rated the figure 5 stars overall. It looks very realistic, and it is fun to look at it. The Harry Potter books, cd soundtracks, movies, and figures have given so much enjoyment to so many people, including myself. Buy an Expecto Patronum figure if you come across one! I'm glad I have mine.
