This board is huge.

To really get the idea measure out four 20 inch sticks and lay them square.

The board is nice and heavy. The fold is joined by two brass hinges one on each side and covered by a strip of felt on the bottom.

The board has nice appearance and looks finished at a distance but the board is a really just good quality work left in an unfinished way.

There is no lacquer finish.

The dark area on top of the board is stained (expected and well done). The play surface of the board is is decent. The bottom of the board is completely unfinished. On the bottom there are four 2 inch felt circlets, one at each corner of the board.

Over all this board is nice to look at from a distance.

Up close there is a small amount of disappointment.

With a little effort this board can be transformed to a elegant travel board with curb appeal, other wise you have a huge hefty folding travel board.

But for 50$ I was not sure what to expect in the finished product.

At the seller's direct web site the board is sold for almost twice as much.

Baltimmore Ravens Tabletop Football Game

It was a good product, the kids are getting alot of enjoyment out of it. I bought three of them for all the young boys at christmas.

Kidkraft Long Oslo Table

I bought this several months ago formy 4-year-old and nephews/nieces. It is easy to assemble and sturdy/durable, and looks great. The size is fine, but keep in mind that it is really only slightly bigger than a kid-size desk. So, while it is possible to fit s, several chairs around it, the work surface is really only big enough for 1 or 2 kids, especially for activities like coloring, play dough, etc. Not big enough for most board games, though.

My boys have outgrown their toddler table and I have been looking everywhere for something a little bigger-this is it!This table is very sturdy and looks really nice.Now my boys have plenty of room to draw, paint, or do whatever they want.

I got it. Wow. It's neat. Almost as if everything's detailed (wrinkles, veins, nails, etc). Three cool spell objects for Harry to use (I think it shoot). I noticed something else. I don't know if it's same house crest patch as seen in HP3. I think it's different in movie. Who knows. I am glad to have it to my collection.

I purchased three of this figure; one to display on my desk, one for my entertainment center, and another for the bookcase in my bedroom. I'm very satisfied with the figure. It was sculpted very realistically, and looks exactly like Harry Potter.

He is no longer a child by the third movie, and it shows in the figure, too. I did not use the plastic magical spell thingies that came with the Harry Potter Expectro Patronum figure, as I felt they detracted from it's realistic appearance.

He looks great with my other Harry Potter figures, and he'll look great with yours, too.

I gave a high rating for durability, because I'm a middle agedman, and have the figure in a plexiglass case...For me, it is for display, not for play, so, at least in this instance, it ought to last the rest of my life. The figure does not look very fragile, though I cannot say how long it would last if it were used for play, but children should have a lot of fun playing with Expecto Patronum Harry Potter. There are small parts, so it is not a good idea to give the figure to a child younger than four years old, due to a choking hazard if parts are swallowed . The figure can be considered educational, as it could encourage children to read the Harry Potter books.

I rated the figure 5 stars overall. It looks very realistic, and it is fun to look at it. The Harry Potter books, cd soundtracks, movies, and figures have given so much enjoyment to so many people, including myself. Buy an Expecto Patronum figure if you come across one! I'm glad I have mine.

Fisher-Price Peek-a-Blocks Press & Go Train

Folks: this one is a great hit with infants to toddlers. Our baby first played once with it when he was 6-7 months and loved it. Now his grandparents got him one in time for his 11 months and he can't stop playing with it. A member of the Peek-A-Block family of toys, this one comes with a bundle of blocks and a train that glides across the room (except if its carpeted) with fun sounds and lively colors. Ultimately this toy combines durability, fun and a certain educational value with a much welcome $20 price tag.

Fisher Price has done it again with their peek-a-boo block circus train...at least in my home.I purchased this for my son when he first figured out how to crawl.At 12 months, he still chases this around the living room.

It is very easy for baby to put this train into action...a simple baby press of the smoke stack.Great cause and effect learning! It is amazing how fast they learn!

There is a little spinning dial on the top of the train.If you place a block on this it will cause movement inside the block itself.So far my son isn't interested in that yet.It sure fascinates my older boys though and they are constantly placing the other blocks to see the change in activity.This leads me to believe that the toy will last through a variety of stages.

The music and colors are bright, inviting, and engaging.If he is creeping out of the room and I don't feel like moving yet....I just push the smoke stack and start up the train.It grabs his attention immediately and Luca will always creep back to "catch the train."

It is a substantial toy, great gift idea!It is of good quality, in the Fisher Price tradition.

This particular train has proven to be a lot of fun for our family and can be found parked under our piano and makes frequent runs around our parlor daily.I don't forsee it being parked in our closet any time soon!

My son received this toy for his 1st B-day. He loves the toy, but keep on taking it apart, the block are all over the house and the last piece of the train is constantly missing. We took this toy to a yoga class where there were a lot of children different ages, and every one wanted to play with it. And I noticed that every one of the kids was doing the same thing first they took it apart, then they played with it.

The music is great, not too loud, and fun to listen to.

I put it away once in a while, to let my son forget about it and every time I take it out again, he enjoys playing with it.

Overall a good toy!

My son (now 18 months) recieved this train as a gift last year for Christmas.He was about 7 months when he got it.He LOVES this toy!From the day that he got it, he was completely fascinated with it.We keep it at my mom's house, since he goes there each day for half of the day.For months, it was the first toy that he would play with immediately after we walked through the door.

He doesn't care much for the blocks being in the right place, and he will toss the blocks if I put them on the train.At 18 months, he still plays with this train on a consistent basis.He isn't as infactuated with it anymore, but it is definitely still a favorite.

With near-constant play, I have replaced the batteries three times in almost a year.It is worth it though, because it has been the best thing in the world, according to my son.

I have read some reviews that the train won't move over carpet.We haven't had this problem.It moves over our carpet without any problems, although I can imagine if we had thick carpet it would be more difficult.

I HIGHLY recommend this train, especially if your child loves toys that light-up, sing, and have moving parts.It has been an overall fantastic addition to our toy collection!!

Gund Sesame Street Elmo Finger Puppet 5.5" Puppets

What is it about Elmo?Elmo is my granddaughter's favorite, an opinion that seems to be held by most of the toddlers in her circle.Not Big Bird, not Cookie Monster, but Elmo is the one they love.

This Elmo finger puppet is very cute, certainly looks like Elmo, and is of Gund's typical good quality.I don't know yet how my granddaughter will like it, since its first appearance will be in her Christmas stocking.I think we'll have a lot of fun with it, though.She's got a great imagination and we love telling stories to each other, so he'll be a nice addition to our lineup of characters.

It is a little bigger than I expected, which is my own fault for envisioning 5-1/2 inches without actually measuring it out.Still, that just seems a little large for a finger puppet to me.Certainly, it will be too large to fit her finger for awhile.Still, I'm looking forward to some fun times with it.

It doesn't really look like the real Elmo, outside of coloring and having features (it has eyes, a nose . . . ), but still very cute.My 6mo child hasn't ever seen Sesame Street (tv), but as seems universal among kids....goes CRAZY for Elmo. Seems to help with the babe's motor skills for grabbing, holding, and articulating movement on the doll too. It's definitely a Go-To Toy in our case!

My only concern is that my kid likes to "eat" their eyes and of course scratches off the black ink with many a sharp small tooth. So after only a few months, the blacks of the eyes are nearly gone. Otherwise, the puppet/stitching itself seems to take a licking and it's a great size to throw into a diaper bag. We bought others from the series too. (Just as cute)

Bakugan Battle Arena

This is not a bad product, but my 7 year old son has one and rarely uses it.Bakugan is the kind of game that you can just whip out and play on a table or the floor, the plastic arena is not needed. Just think about how many more Bakugan you could buy for the price of the arena!

I bought this.The description is misleading. The only thing in the box is the arena.There are no Bakugan included at all and no cards.

I don't know why the description says it comes with more than just the arena because you won't get it.

The Amazon description is wrong.The box says nothing about having Bakugan or cards included.So, Amazon needs to change that.

This is a neat arena.I like the sides that will keep your Bakugan from rolling off the arena.Bakugan is a pretty neat game.

Teamson Girls Table and Chairs Set - Magic Garden Room Collection

This table and chair set is so cute. My granddaughter was delighted when she saw it. It is very sturdy and very well made. It's the best piece of childrens' furniture I have ever seen. The colors and designs are awsome, bright but not gaudy. We get so many compliments. Her tea parties are the most fun. We are the envy of the other grandparents. We plan on buying more matching pieces.

This is a pretty table, my daughter really loves it and having only two chairs would be accurate given the size of the table.Be sure to read the measurements and you won't be taken by surprise, I actually new what size it would be.My little girl is 6 soon to be 7 in April and she is pretty long (tall) for her age, but still a good fit.I gave a three star because the quality is good but this is the second defected table I received from teamson.The first, which was ordered from Target was missing the stripped under skirt from the table top.This has nothing to do with this Seller, this should have been checked by quality control within Teamson.Now this table is in pretty good shape but it does have a few minor scratches on the chairs but the major thing the 4 inch split piece of wood in one of the corners of the table top, with scratches around that area.My daughter would not allow me to send it back so ill keep it for her and just set some glue between the cracks so that it will not spread.The Seller on the other hand was a pleasure to work with, very understanding and considerate and because my table was late arriving the Seller even refunded half the cost of the Table, Which is the real reason I have less of a concern with the corner of the top.I would shop with this seller again as we'll as recommend shopping with them.As fare as Teamson, I've read similar complaints from others on many sights regarding issues of concern with their product care.So all n all be careful with Teamson but if you are going to purchase something from Teamson, then it would probably be best to go through this Seller so at least you'll have them in your corner if there's a problem.

I researched for hours before deciding on buying a table and chairs from Teamson. I'm so glad I went with them. I even called them to ask questions about their products and they were extremely helpful. I imagine if I had any product issues that they'd be great to deal with.

I was a tad hesitant due to the price (and only getting two chairs) but they were soooooo cute! Let me tell you... as cute as that picture is.... the real thing is even better. I was just as thrilled as my toddler. I'm so glad we bought them. They were packaged great and easy to assemble. My only potential issue is that the back of the chair is a bit heavy (this is good in that it's a quality product) but if your child leans back it could topple over. (it would not topple back with normal sitting but if the child pushes back in it, and it's on carpet and snagged, it could topple easily.) To remedy this, we have the chair designated for my toddler (at least for now as she learns how to use it well) to be backed up against her little toddler sofa chair (you could use a wall or the side of your couch, whatever). It still leaves room for her to get in and out. We also sometimes butt two of the chairs up against each other, making it into a little bench and giving her more "seat" real estate. Then, again, it's backed up to her toddler (faux) leather arm sturdy chair which serves as the back to her little wood chair/make shift bench. Hope that all makes sense.

What does that also mean though? We need to buy the remaining two chairs. Happy to do so. After all, mommy and daddy need a place to sit (gently of course hoping it holds our weight they seem very strong and sturdy though. Husband said it should be no problem). And, when it's time for tea parties, our girl needs the chairs for her dollies.

I want to reiterate the beauty of these products. I'm beyond happy with them. I ordered the stool for the bathroom and the toy chest, too, now that I've seen the quality. I'm waiting for those to arrive. Next week!

OH! And lastly! They make many different designs and recently came out with dinosaurs! :) I'd advise checking their website for all of the different options and then coming back to Amazon to purchase for Prime free shipping (if applies) and better pricing overall.

Try this Cream of Mushroom soup recipe from volume 2

4 c. sliced mushrooms

¾ c. creamy butter

1-1¼ c. flour

½ tsp. coarse ground pepper

2 tbsp. granulated chicken bouillon

8 c. 2% milk

1 pt. heavy cream

4 fresh green onions

Take 1 c. of sliced mushrooms and set aside. In a large soup pot melt ¼ c. of butter, dice 3 c. of mushrooms and sauté until mushrooms darken in color. Add remaining ½ c. of butter, fold in flour, pepper and bouillon, creating a roux. Scorch the roux to deepen the flavor stirring constantly on medium heat.

Slowly fold in with a whisk the cream and milk to desired consistency. Soup will thicken as it cooks. To thin down soup fold in more milk. Add half of the diced green onions. In a separate pan sauté 1 c. of sliced mushrooms to use as a garnish. When ready to serve, top with sautéed mushroom slices and diced green onions. Helpful Hint: To reheat soup make sure not to bring to a boil or the soup will separate.

Fisher Price Little People Elena and Her Sunny Day Picnic

This was for my 2 year old for Christmas.My four year old plays with it more than my two year old, but that's ok!Little People Sets and figures are so fun and we are all about encouraging imaginative play in this house.:) The moveable parts on this toy are fine hold up well and the concept of the moveable Little People is well received by the kids in the house.Now, as far as making stuff 'fluffy' on the animals and stuff?Well, I liked the fact that the animals and such were plastic before because of the ease in washing/sanitizing them.Not too crazy about the fuzz and fluff, but like the moveable people.

Melissa & Doug Deluxe Wooden Doll High Chair

I purchased this highchair for my 4year old's birthday.I looked at several other models before purchasing that were between $25 and $30 but they seemed flimsy and looked cheaply made.This one is very sturdy and quite lovely.The legs are solid and round, not just a single piece cut out of 1/4" plywood like the others.It was easily assembled with clear instructions.And it handles a good amount of weight, as my 40 pound little girl decided to sit in with no problems.This is a solid, sturdy, well made toy that is pretty as well, just what I always expect from "Melissa and Doug" products.It was well worth the extra money in my opinion!

I bought this high chair for my two-year-old and I must say that she absolutely LOVES playing with it!We own MANY Melissa and Doug products so I knew that I couldn't go wrong with this item.However, two of the slots where the screws attach were either stripped or not drilled correctly.The screws would not go in and they are in key places to keep the legs strong.My daughter does climb on it and/or sit in it.I did read (on amazon) that others were having this problem but decided to take a chance anyway.My mistake.We have made do and modified some ourselves to keep the product safe, but I was very disappointed.We did not feel like going through the process of sending it back and waiting for a new one.I don't think we could have gotten it out of her sight long enough to do so!Anyway, it is an adorable item and I will continue to buy M & D products.I'll just be more diligent in sending things back if needed.

its everything that i thought it to be. track is really wide to help keep cars on track, allthough you do not reallkidy need much help for that as we rarely went of the tracks. great racing, lots of fun. the wife and i raced for hours. we used the track setup displayed on the box and believe me it is huge 5ft.x9ft. it is really a different kind of racing not your kid toy stuff. were hooked. i would highly recommend the ninco master track v.09 slot car set 1/32.

The is a great set. I have been messing with slot cars a long time and this was one of the best deals out there. For out of the box fun this is the set to get other than you will have to buy your own cars which is easy enough. The track layout has a little bit of everything not to mention you can change the direction the cars run on the track. This way you have two different track options that have totally different racing feels. Like I said before great set.
