I knew these were going to be quality counter height stools the moment I opened the cartons. The packaging was superior to any online order I've ever received. There was no sorting of screws, bolts, washers, etc. Tucked neatly into the chair bottom were separate packages of the above, each labeled with its contents. Directions were clearly WRITTEN as well as pictured. I hate it when I have to look at diagrams to try to discern their meanings!The chair itself is very sturdy, nicely finished, and of very good quality. It looks like it did online-not sure how another's monitor would display it.
I bought two of these stools for my small kitchen. I purchased a counter height 4' X 2' table to serve the dual purpose of snack bar and work space. They fit perfectly.
If your shopping for this type of stool, rest assured you won't be disappointed with this one!
My one comment, which I have already submitted to amazon, is that the image is misleading.Because there are two chairs in the picture, I initially thought I had ordered 2 chairs.I was surprised several days later when only 1 chair arrived.I thought that perhaps 1 chair was delayed in shipping until I re-read the description and noticed there was no mention of the set that's pictured.
It's not necesarily amazon's fault; I take credit for not reading the description as closely as I should have, but perhaps only picturing a single chair will prevent future confusion from customers.

These are well made and heavy duty. The color was a little different than we thought so it didn't match our glazed white cabinets. These were a much brighter white than we thought. That's not the fault of the furniture, just the nature of buying online. We had to send it back because they didn't match. Otherwise, these are great stools.
