My Scene Chillin Out Chelsea Doll

I've collected Barbies for about 16 years now (and played with them for about 28 years), and all that I can say about My Scene dolls is that they are Incredible! At first, I couldn't get used to the fact that Barbie had such a different look, and such different friends.But, when I was a kid there was PJ, then in the 80's there was Whitney and the Rockers etc., then in the 90's Midge and Christie and Teresa as well as the generation girls.I like how Barbie reinvents herself for each generation,and this is seriously the best yet!

Now to the actual review of this particular doll...Chelsea and Nolee are my favorites, and this doll does not disappoint in its beauty, its lovely face paint and hair.The clothes and accessories are, for a lack of a better word, "Awesome"!This is the most realistic I have EVER seen a Barbie since the glory days of the 60's.It's padded jacket actually has a padded lining! The baseball-styled shirt is very cool.I don't like the mountain girl leggings, but HEY! they're removable.She has a cute pair of boots, as well as the skiing boots which fit PERFECTLY into the skis.The ski poles are an exact fit for posing her as if she is on the slopes...I have wanted a ski doll for about 10 years, but have not found an accurate oneuntil now.Perfect!Thanks, Mattel!!!

I absolutely love Chelsea's winter outfit because it's so fun and colorful!I love the puffy blue jacket because it looks like a coat a real person would wear.The matching scarf and hat are just adorable.The white muffs on the bottom of her pants are removable and I love how they look.Chelsea has a cute, elbow-length shirt under the jacket.She also comes with skis, ski boots, ski poles, and a helmet.I gave this doll 4 stars for educational value because of the helmet, which someone should wear if they go skiing.I'm impressed that Mattel would include it with the doll, it sends a great message about safety.Yet another beautiful, eye-catching doll from My Scene!

I LOVE this Chelsea! First of all,she comes with skis with flame decals (she can actually fit her feet in the skis),snow boots for the skis,a helmet,ski poles (DUH!),and a brush. What she's wearing is,a puffy jacket (that looks like one real people wear),a striped pompom hat with matching scarf,orange snow pants,a almost baseball jersey looking shirt,furry leggings (which is why I got her!),REALLY cool boots (if you have the Un-furr-gettable Chelsea their boots look almost the same),and lastly snow goggles.
