An answer for people with upside down globes from Lying tradmark globe company; This mainly helps people fix upside down globes sent by companies like this one with no quality control. If you dont care about learning how to repair a globe and someday you will need to do this if you own any gemstone globe..Dont even bother reading this very very long detailed how too fix upside down globe repair review.
There are many different makes of gemstone globes and each
manufacturer has their own method for mounting the meridian ring to the horizon ring. That
being said, whatever mounting method is used, the basic principles are the same.
By way of explanation, the reason your globe settles with the North and South Poles reversed is
because the stones weigh more than the ocean resin and there are more continents in the northern
hemisphere than in the southern hemisphere. The result is a weight imbalance with the northern
hemisphere being heavier than the southern hemisphere.
The bolts on the meridian ring and mount adjust the friction therefor supporting the globes position.
So If the friction mount between the meridian ring to the horizon ring is too loose the globe will
attempt to settle with the heaviest area at the lowest point. If the friction mount is loose enough
your globe will actually invert.{turn upside down}
The solution is to increase the friction on the mount between the meridian ring to the horizon
ring. Most manufactures use a mount that includes an allen head screw with a jam nut on the east/west sides of the globe. {Not the north/south hex nuts}
First you can attempt to adjust the small jam nuts on the allen head bolts located on the east/west sides of the globe between the meridian ring and the stand. By adjusting these nuts it may allow enough tension to be added so the meridian can be moved to any position and it shall stay, so one can view the desired area on the globe. If the desired tension cannot be attained one must move on to the the next step.
To access the adjusting screw you will typically have to remove the globe from the meridian
ring. The gemstone globe can be damaged when it is removed from the meridian ring.
EXERCISE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN REMOVING THE GLOBE.!!!
I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU SEEK AT LEAST ONE GOOD HELPER BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO PROCEED!
GET TWO HELPERS IF A GOOD HELPERS NOT AVAILABLE!!!!!!
AGAIN: BE VERY VERY CAREFUL HANDLING THE GLOBE AROUND THE FRAME/RINGS!!!
"RAP GLOBE WITH TOWL AND SUPPORT THE GLOBE BEFORE REMOVING EITHER GLOBE MOUNTING BOLTS"
YOU MAY MOVE THE MERIDIAN MOUNTING RING SO ITS PARALLEL TO THE STANDS OUTER FRAME. TAKE STRING SO NOT TO SCRATCH THE METAL AND TIE THE STRING AROUND THE MERIDIAN RING AND FRAME BUT LEAVE ONLY ENOUGH SLACK IN IT TO ALLOW AN INCH OR SO FOR MOVEMENT OF THE RING. THIS IS TO ALLOW YOU TO REACH THE ALLEN BOLTS TO REMOVE THE GLOBE. YOU ONLY NEED ENOUGH MOVEMENT TO GET THE ALLEN WRENCH OR FINGERS TO REMOVE THE BOLTS.
YOU "MUST" HAVE SOMEONE HOLDING THE GLOBE WHILE BOTH BOLTS ARE REMOVED "SIMULTANEOUSLY". PRACTICE BY PRETENDING TO REMOVE BOLTS/GLOBE A FEW TIMES BEFORE REMOVING THE BOLTS!
WARNING: Do not try this stoned or drunk...
=========================================
1ST} "PREPARE YOUR STRATAGY"."RAP THE GLOBE WITH A SOFT TOWEL ECT?..They really do break and scratch so easy but its your globe so I'm only suggesting! I'm not doing it you are and I hope your sober and not high as warned...lol
2ND} In most stands, the globe is mounted to the meridian ring using a allen bolt and a detachable spacer. When the allen bolt and spacer is removed it allows the globe to move freely and it can drop or bang against the stand resulting in scuffing or even cracking around bolt area of globe.
CAUTION:
{If one mounting bolt and spacer is removed without supporting the globe it can stress the globe at the point where all of the weight is being held by the second mounting bolt. The result can be cracking or splitting on the globe in the area of the mounting bolt}Be very very careful removing allen bolts...
3RD} Once the globe is removed from the meridian ring; you can access the friction
mounting bolt assembly between the meridian ring and the horizon ring. You will need to loosen the
jam nut and turn the screw to increase the tension on the mount. You should balance the tension
on both mounts so that the friction is provided equally as opposed to having one mount provide
all of the friction alone. This will give a larger "wear surface" and will enable your adjustment to last longer before it has to be adjusted again.
Balancing the friction between the two mounts also reduces the chance of over tightening the mount and damaging the stand. Once the desired
tension is achieved be sure to tighten the jam nut in order to hold the screw in place.
ABOUT FRICTION SETUP:
The objective in tensioning the mounts is to reach the point where the globe will hold whatever
position you place it in.
If you tighten the mounts too much it can make it difficult to rotate the
meridian ring or can even damage the stand. If the mounts are too loose then the globe will not
stay in position.
Because the globe adds a significant amount of weight when it is installed in the
meridian ring, you will find that you have to apply more tension to the mounts making it have more friction than is required to hold the meridian ring alone.
The only way I can tell you to make the adjustment correctly is to set the tension, reinstall the globe, and test it for proper operation. Its "TRIAL & Error" !!
Its also why I stated "GET GOOD HELPERS".
If its too loose, increase the tension. If its to tight and the meridian ring is difficult to move, decrease the tesion. But leave room for future adjustments without removing the globe.
Once the adjustment is completed you should be able to move the meridian ring to any position and it should hold in place to allow you to view the globe at the desired inclintation.
4TH final Step} With globe reinstalled tighten "Jam Nut" to hold adjustment setting. TADAAA!Your finished! Enjoy you globe again if you didnt scratch/crack it....
========= My gripe section ========
This was the answer I recieved for an email I wrote a gemstone globe company asking about my globe being loose and flipping upside down. Not this company, however I went to their website asking and wrote 3 emails to no avail. No answer. Notta! ziltch! And since I've read more reviews from the lion trademark globes being upside down shipped new and people recieved no tech support for it I thought I'd help their customers out since Lion Trademark/Unique art whatever they call theirself today obviously dont care too do them.
That said' I've never seen any help like it posted on globe company websites anywere at all. Never could find anything like it while doing searches for help with my globe. Its like a dirty little secret they just dont care to tell us about? I've seen several reviews complaining about this issue on new globes recieved so I would think the globe companies would like to help its customers fix them? I have no idea why its not in help sections on globe sites...Hope it helps someone to get their beautiful globe working great again so they can be proud of it again.... Just dont break it trying!

Globe is beautiful, however the globe is up side down. It is not weighted properly and when it spins it ends up, up side down. I contacted the dealer and he told me to check the screws. Bottom line, its a defective product. I did not return it. MistakeGuess Who? Board Game
My kids, ages six and ten, love to play this game together.Finding something they both enjoy happens about as frequently as a total eclipse of the sun, so that ought to tell you something right there. The plastic frames are a little flimsy for my taste, but you can play this game even if you are missing a card or two, so I anticipate getting lots of use out of this one.Guess Who is a game that is recommended for kids, yet all ages will have fun playing it. Guess Who is about finding out your opponents identity by asking questions about what their character looks like. Through this process, characters are eliminated till there is only one remaining.
Guess Who certainly provides a lot of fun. It will help kids to think and will keep them amused at the same, making it good for educational value. Also, the game is very durable. The boards are made from pretty strong plastic and won't break easily. Also the cards that the characters are on are protected by a plastic covering and they don't get ruined easily.
So Guess Who is a fun, educational and durable game that is fun for all ages.

PLEASE READ THIS!!! IT MAY CHANGE YOUR LIFE.We all know that Guess Who is a great, simple kids game but few realise the staggering genius of this little wonder. Honestly people, try this more complex version of the game just once and you'll be hooked.
We discovered the mystical powers that this game possesses while lazing away in a small fishing village in brasil, though we've found a room in London to be just as good a venue. To unlock it's secret, carefully follow these steps.......
Instead of choosing one character, choose 3.
Only ask questions that start with 'do any of your characters have...' or 'do most of your characters have..'. 'Any can mean one, two or three characters have that physical feature; most can mean two or three. By piecing together the clues, characters can slowly be eliminated. All 3 characters must be guessed correctly at the same time to win the game.
The games should last about 10 minutes, so they're perfect for any time or state you may be in!
Other little rules can be added, such as each player can refuse to answer one question about his characters per game!
Tell as many people that you can about this game, it's a phenomenon waiting to happen.
Happy Guess Whoing. Thanks to my creative consultants Pedros and Jazzy
My Scene Chillin Out Chelsea Doll
Now to the actual review of this particular doll...Chelsea and Nolee are my favorites, and this doll does not disappoint in its beauty, its lovely face paint and hair. The clothes and accessories are, for a lack of a better word, "Awesome"!This is the most realistic I have EVER seen a Barbie since the glory days of the 60's.It's padded jacket actually has a padded lining! The baseball-styled shirt is very cool.I don't like the mountain girl leggings, but HEY! they're removable. She has a cute pair of boots, as well as the skiing boots which fit PERFECTLY into the skis. The ski poles are an exact fit for posing her as if she is on the slopes...I have wanted a ski doll for about 10 years, but have not found an accurate oneuntil now.Perfect! Thanks, Mattel!!!I absolutely love Chelsea's winter outfit because it's so fun and colorful!I love the puffy blue jacket because it looks like a coat a real person would wear. The matching scarf and hat are just adorable. The white muffs on the bottom of her pants are removable and I love how they look.Chelsea has a cute, elbow-length shirt under the jacket. She also comes with skis, ski boots, ski poles, and a helmet.I gave this doll 4 stars for educational value because of the helmet, which someone should wear if they go skiing.I'm impressed that Mattel would include it with the doll, it sends a great message about safety.Yet another beautiful, eye-catching doll from My Scene!

I LOVE this Chelsea! First of all,she comes with skis with flame decals (she can actually fit her feet in the skis),snow boots for the skis,a helmet, ski poles (DUH!),and a brush. What she's wearing is,a puffy jacket (that looks like one real people wear),a striped pompom hat with matching scarf, orange snow pants,a almost baseball jersey looking shirt, furry leggings (which is why I got her!),REALLY cool boots (if you have the Un-furr-gettable Chelsea their boots look almost the same),and lastly snow goggles. South Shore Precious Collection Changing Table, Royal Cherry
It took a couple of hours to assemble. I like having 3 drawers plus a cabinet. I thought the diaper genie would fit in the cabinet drawer but it was a little too tall. This holds all her clothes, blankets, and medicine, lotions, etc. We are definitely disappointed in the quality of this changing table. For the price, you would assume it would be of better quality. It arrived with many blemishes and and takes a long time to put together. The cheap particle board and finish damage easily. If I had time, I would return it.You can get a much better product for the price. It is obvious that it will not last long and really looks cheap and in our case used due to all the blemishes. What I liked about this changing table is that one can put the changing pad on one side and on the other separation on the top one can have handy the diapers, ointments, and baby wipes! Also, the baby changing top is removable (it is attached with 4 screws on the back). So, when the baby grows, he/she can use it as a dresser.Putting it together was very painful, the instructions are not always correct and you have a lot, but a lot!!! of screws and panels to put together. My husband put it together over 2 days.

So after getting this, I was impressed with the looks, it looks nice.Quality on the other hand is terrible. The first one that was delivered had damage, so I exchanged it which on this heavy of a box is a challenge. After I got the second one and put it together, I thought it was of good quality until the first time liquid hit it.The top portion which is a baby changing table thus liquids are all over the place, peels off like paper. There is paper which gives it the color and looks, underneath which rests the wood. The first time water hit that thing, stuff started to peel off.after a month of use, this thing is ugly.so stay awayDMI FTSIMP1 39-Inch Simpsons Table Soccer
The styling on the players, Homer versus Bart, is also a little bit disappointing. Specifically one has blue shorts and the other has red shorts, with a tiny corresponding 'ring around the collar' of their team color, but otherwise it looks like they're wearing plain white T-shirts. I really would have expected a little more detail here, as playing Homer versus Bart is the whole 'cool' aspect of this game, and their isn't much color difference to tell the two sides apart while you play.
As purchased, this game is definitely sized for the youngsters and the diminutive of stature, but plastic 'bed risers' lifting it up seven inches make up for this. I bought mine at Target and they're available here. Eventually I'll probably permanently cinch the risers to the legs with bundle ties and fill the inside of the risers with pea gravel to give the whole setup a sturdier feel, but it's fully playable by adults now.
Outfitting the house I sublet rooms in I decided to compromise with this table pricewise, but thought I'd go for the best foosball balls available, which review indicated were Tornado brand that are reddish-orange and cost four dollars each. But it turns out that this table it's much smaller than standard so the balls would often stuck between the striker and the playing surface when struck, plus it turns out the included balls are actually surprisingly good quality and you get three or four of them. The grips are acceptable, nothing special, small enough for kids, not too small for larger hands. Also you can tell from the picture this game has one fewer row of players on each side than a standard sized table.
I'm not even a particularly big fan of the Simpsons anymore, but there are dozens of witty decals of major and minor characters available and they now cover all four sides of my table. To really get the wow factor though, I now have full-page fluorescent stickers in half a dozen colors from Amazon, and will be black-light outfitting the game. The plan is to cover Bart and Homer's white T-shirts and bottom ball strikers with opposing colors, most likely Orange for one, Green for the other to go along the Oregonian 'Civil War' color scheme I'm working on for all my black light games. Then outline the edges of the playing surface, goal box, and center line, with strips from other colors. So far the black-lit air hockey, darts, and ping pong in the garage are a hit, though I should point out that if you wanted to buy this table, lift it with bed risers, pimp it out with decals, and add black light reactive stickers it'd double the price all told.
Tiny Love Developlay Activity Center
Well, not so much. The supposedly simple side for younger babies features a musical smiley face button and a squeaker that require LOTS of force to make them work. My son is now 7 months old and he still can't operate them. (But he CAN use the little squeaker on the other side!) The knocker with the rattle also needs a lot of force, and even if you do manage to move it, it hardly produces any sound as it only moves a fraction of an inch. The two spinners are great and he loves those, but you can get those on any activity center. The unit is quite tall, and so far, whether lying in his playpen or sitting on the floor, he can only reach these bottom two toys.
On the other side, the toy that pops out and giggles is a lovely idea but we just can't get that door close and STAY closed. I went to a store and tried every one on the shelf and they all had the same problem. So he can't play with that feature either, really. And you need to move the lever for the spinner just so, at the right speed and with the right amount of force if you want the disc to spin.
Then, most disappointing of all, there's the music. The horrible, frenetic, tinny, nasty music that was such a shock after having the Symphony in Motion mobile. It sounded so bad that I was sure the batteries had run down, but even after replacing them it sounds the same cheap and incredibly irritating. As did all the other models in the toy store.
On the plus side, the toy is really solid, made of good quality plastic, and the colours and the design are lovely and bright and attractive.
It's outrageously expensive I live in Europe so we paid about $75 for it especially considering most of the activities are useless. I'm quite annoyed that poor old Grandad shelled out so much money for it, and didn't keep the receipt. We actually get more fun out of the old FP activity center we bought on ebay for a couple of dollars to keep at Grandma's. Lesson learned new and expensive isn't always best!My wife bought this Activity Center because we love the Tiny Love toys, and with this one we were not disappointed. Our son plays on this for hours, both sides. We were somewhat disappointed that more than just two songs are available, and after time, you will be humming them in your sleep. The only concern I had with this toy was the two small yellow plastic loopholes on the bottom of the toy. While flipping it over, hung or not on his pack and play, one of my son's fingers would get stuck in the hole and he could not figure how to remove it tight fit.He would then panic and bend his finger back, causing him to cry out in pain or distress.I removed the loops and filed them down so this would not happen again. Not sure why they are there.Despite this, this is a great toy.

We've received this toy as a gift from our friends and i liked the idea of 2 sides (is like having 2 new toys at once). But then, when we tried playing with it i didn't like several things:1) side 1
has a really hard to squeak thing,
hard to pull hammer
pretty far located smiley face so the baby playing with it as an activity table (not crib mounted) won't easily reach and press it
smiley face could have more than 1 melody playing
It results in that side having only 3 things to play for the baby at 6-8 months: spinning flower, spinning ball and a mirror
2) side 2
the most i don't like in this toy (both sides) is the music of those 4 musical instruments buttons. It sounds not like it's a baby toy but like it's some kind of tool to horrify the baby. We have pretty much musical toys and none of them has the music which is soooo unpleasant. My baby just looks at tose buttons as she looks at strangers she doesn't like.
pop-up thing could have a better holding door (opens easily) and prettier "animal" inside.
the squeaky knob on this side is hard to push even for me.
To summarize i'll just say that as for me even 2 sides are not worth the money!
I don't like it at all!

We've had this toy since my daughter was 3 months old & she's now 7 months old.We love it.She loves to push all the different buttons & listen to all the different sounds it makes. It's very colorful! My daughter will sit in her crib & play with this toy for a long time after she's woke up from a nap or in the morning. It's wonderful b/c you can hang it on the side of the crib or put it on the floor for her to play with.I would recommend anyone to buy this toy.Want Tiny Love Developlay Activity Center Discount?
I bought this for my son about 3 months. This was the lowest recommended age on the product and he had just moved into his crib. I thought he would love to play with this while he was in there. He didn't, even with my encouragement he would just look at it for a few seconds. Now though at about 8 months he enjoys it. I do like the fact that it grows with him. The first side is for 3-9 months and the second side is for 9 months and up. I love Tiny Love products, but they may need to adjust the age on this one to 6 months and up.
Butterfly 401 Shakehand Table Tennis Racket
The racket came in a day earlier than expected and I was pleasantly surprised. The racket uses Butterfly Yuki rubber onboth sides. My Senshu racket uses Flextra rubber and the Yuki rubber on this racket feels as sticky, though not quite a powerful as the flextra. The tape on the side of the racket is a very nicenylon ribbon material and it gives the racket a classy look. In play, the racket is ver well balanced with great spin and control, making this an ideal racket for the intermediate player. It also has 2.1 mm rubber which gives it a little extra "oomph" on slams.
Overall, I am very hapy with this racket, while not as fast as my Senshu, it is half the price of that racket and has 9/10's the performance.
This is an awesome paddle. The padding is good and very sticky.Great for spinning.
This paddle ratting is...
Speed 8.0
Spin 8.0
Control 8.5
It's written in Chinese I think. Great investment if your looking for a paddle that is well built.
Plus it comes with a case. Can't beat that.

This is the first paddle costing more than about $10 that I've ever bought. Many of my coworkers who I play with like Butterfly paddles, so I figured I would go for one of these. The well-made soft carrying case that comes with it is a nice bonus for me.
It's a very nice paddle.Significantly heavier than a cheap lightweight one, which I find helps me control it.The rubber is very sticky and soft, which gives me an amazing amount of spin and control. In particular, I am able to return smashes and execute loopy top-spin shots far better than I have ever been able to before. However, this paddle also deadens the ball in terms of speed.I really have to smash it hard to get much speed out of the ball. For me this is a good thing, since I have a lot of trouble with control with harder paddles, but some players might not like it.
Overall, I'm very happy with this paddle, but as I said I don't have a lot of experience to make good comparisons with other products.I think just about any beginner or intermediate player would be very happy with it.

I've used it several times and it performs above expectations.Case is handy, and rarely is one included at this price.
This is one Chinese import I do recommend buying.Just make sure you also get some liquid surface cleaner, as you would with any other paddle that has "stickiness."

Slightly disappointed with performance of this paddle; noticably heavier than several other paddles I have, but rubber is very tacky as advertised. Nice carying case included, which is nice. Handle felt shorter than I would like, but is same length as other "shake hand" styles; must be contour of the handle. It took some getting used to, but it's actually not a bad paddle. I can feel more strain on my wrist from the weight of the paddle while playing a lot of spin. This is my 5th paddle and no where near finding my ideal one yet. I'm more of a speed player than spins and this slows me down just a smidgen. I prefer very light paddles that can generate more speed than spin.

This product uses metal pins and several of the pins on mine were a little bent so did not always pop back quickly. I could easily straignten though. Also the ends of the pins seem to have been cut with a wire cutter and not rounded. Therefore when you push against your hand or other body part the sharp edges can hurt. Also the pins will not push very far in as they seem to get stuck due to hitting each other.Build quality is poor on this product.
As the pins are metal product is quite heavy and will not balance on its side or end when many of the pins extended so if you want to leave a display of a pressing you need to be sure a lot of pins pushed in.
If you want a metal version I would suggest looking for one with rounded pin ends and better build quality of look at one with plastic pinsOur son is autistic and hard to find toys he likes. His brother had a similar toy and he picked it up and wanted to play with everyday. He likes sensory toys.He likes the feel and sound of certain toys.He is 24 and non-verbal but, the smile on his face says how much he enjoys playing with it.I'm sure younger ages would like this, also.Same problem as other posters. Packaging looked good, but the cheap plastic pins were broken before it was even out of the box. Find another one. This toy was broken on arival one of the screws was broken off, the glass or plastic plate in front of it was dirty and some of the nails were kinda bent. But it still works and was not all that fun about five minute of play into it got old i am very mad about this product dont be cheap get the $20 ones

I am returning this toy to this store for two reasons. First, there is no way to adjust the volume on it and it is deafening. One song in particular (I believe it is Yankee Doodle) is louder than all the others and, when it came on, my son jumped and started bawling. (I have never seen any toy make him cry...) The speaker is on the front of the activity board and, when using it in a seated postion, it is right at ear level. Second, I had hoped my son could use this in the kicking position (he loves to kick), but that was a no go. He is six months old and 27 inches long. When I laid him in position so he could kick the "kick plate", his upper body was too far back to reach the activity board no matter how I adjusted it. It's too bad. With a few minor adjustments, this could have been a great toy.Read Best Reviews of 5 - In - 1 Adjustable Gym Here
I love the fact this toy can convert so many different ways. When our daughter was an infant, she sort of liked it but it was almost impossible to get the music to play (I had to swing at the toy myself) and it is wayyyy tooooo loud!I was suprised there was no soft/loud switch like most toys have now.I had to tape cloth over the speaker. My husband accidentally put it together backwards (so that her head is up against the green seat thing) the instructions weren't clear and once you put it together, it appears there's no mercy in fixing any mistakes.Hopefully it will be more fun when she's sitting up and playing with it that way.

Our son LOVES this gym!He smiles every time the music starts and the lights start going. He's only 4.5 months old, so we have it set on the "motion" setting and ANY time he kicks it, hits it, or pulls on the toys, it plays music. He'll lay under it and squeal and entertain himself for close to an hour sometimes! The batteries seem to be lasting really well also!We did buy rechargables just in case, but so far we haven't had to charge them in almost a month of him playing under it every day!The toys swing down so that he can get to them easily and discover how to manipulate them.We have it sitting up against our fireplace, so with him laying under it and kicking it, it doesn't move.I think that removing the bench, as someone said in another review, is also a smart idea and we may try that eventually b/c he likes to feel like he's with us in the room sometimes.I'd recommend this to anyone and I look forward to the other stages of it as my son grows!
