American Plastic Toy Sand and Water Wheel

I bought it, for an experiment where I needed a water wheel. However, I could understand its fun and educational value when I played around with it for a bit.

Just a word of warning, its much bigger than it seems from the picture. Around one and a half feet tall. So be vary of that. But its an excellent toy for the kids.

We, at the time, didn't have a sandbox and just used this for water fun.My son (almost 4) loves it.It teaches gravity and cause and effect and of course it's just fun.He will place a watering can full of water on the top, run away, and watch the water pour out and move the wheels.It's fun!It's faded in the sun but it's fine.He has a sandbox coming for his 4th bday and I am sure this will be good with sand too.

We got this for our 2.5 year old and her new sandbox. She enjoys playing with it a lot, and has also used it for water play. It's quite large, though, so would only recommend for larger sand boxes, as opposed to a sand table. Would purchase again.

I purchased this toy for use in a water table that I have for the kids.It works fine with water, the kids enjoy playing with it.I haven't had it long enough to comment for sure on it's durability.

I was very happy to discover toys made in the USA instead of China, but when we went to use it the top wheeel wouldn't turn. It seemed wobbley on the metal rod and I was upset. It costs $9.99 + $4.99 shipping. I called the company and was told I had put too much sand on it. How can a 2yr old put measure how much sand to use on a toy? I was told to ship it back to get another one which would cost me another $4.99. So I would be spending as much for the toy as it costs with no gaurantee that the new one would work or I'd have to return it also. I will never ever use this company again.
