We were impressed that the table and chairs were made of solid wood not just pressed wood.The price of the table and chairs was reasonable as well.The shelfs in the table were a real asset to our children for storing their crayons, schoolwork and school boxes.The table was easy to put to gather.Chairs took a little more time because instead of using regular screws they used screws that used an allen wrench.With this in mind it took a little more time, however, we are overlly satisfied with the product and would recommend the table and chairs to anyone.
We like this set a lot for our 2 year old, but it is very tall for him at this point. I would recommend it for an older kid.

this table set is beautiful...just the right size for my 7 year old.the chairs hold an adult as well.

One thing is that the bolts for the table legs are too short. There are 2 lengths for each leg.one is shorter than the other which causes the legs to be wobbly.So I replaced them all with longer screws and now they are really strong.
Only for that... This is awesome set.

I had been looking for a table for my son that would fit in with my home's decor, and have chairs sturdy enough for mom or dad to sit on and enjoy playing with him. This is it! Assembly was easy and I was very surprised how sturdy and heavy was. The only thing that I would change is the finish of the bolts used to assemble the set. I ordered the espresso finish and the bolt are a brass finish. I thought that it would look nicer for them to be a darker finish so that they would blend in and be more unseen. Over all I am very pleased and would recommend this set to family and friends.

Although a bit pricy, but I love this purchase. It arrived on time and the packing was nice. No piece was broken. Instructions were fine and me and my husband (not good at building) were able to make the whole thing in one hour. The screws for the table which are in different packet seems all long. But they are not. You will need to check out the size by comparing height of the screws so that u can put them in the right place as the instructions says. its looking great and there is space inside desk on both sides to put books and papers in which they refer as "shelves". I was confused by that as the picture does not show any drawer or shelves.the picture should be upgraded.
