I found that this product could have been made from a stronger material. The base is ok but the globe itself could have been stronger.

See the red and yellow equator? It's a piece of tape. The globe was ordered as a gift and came in multiple pieces. The tape's adhesive no longer worked and it was impossible to assemble... piece of crap. Not a big surprise given other reviews of Replogle's globes on Amazon...

I purchased this globe as a birthday gift for a friend and she totally loves it.Much better than the plain old blue ones.
