Vibrating Football

I remember this game as a kid, so thought I'd give this one a try for my sons.First of all, it's made of very cheap plastic, and is field is lightweight. What that means is the players hardly move unless you press on the base of the game while it's vibrating. That's not the way it should be.The materials are obviously made in China and thus, everything is cheap plastic.Even the players are plastic mono-color (blue or red) with no detail or variation in color.I was expecting the players to have colored jerseys or some team resemblance. The kicker/quarterback is nearly impossible to operate. It's supposed to throw/kick, but more times than not, the ball doesn't go anywhere. The footballs are little foam pieces, I guess that's what they've always been, but running with them is about all you can do.The bottom line it's a cheap knockoff that doesn't hold up the original. But then again these days, what does?We had to make balls out of cotton balls. My eight year old grandson liked the game but as far as I am concerned, the footballs are an integral part of the game!I looked all over for this and thought my grandson would really enjoy it but only played with it a couple of timesGreat activity for spending time with Children and adults together.Brings the game to those who cannot actually play themselves.I bought this for a Christmas gift for my 7 year old grandson who loves anything to do with sports and football in particular, since it is football season right now.He loves the game.It is like the old fashion vibrating one that was popular when I was a child.
