Don't buy; the desk tips over. After my daughter and I put this desk together, and my grandson sat in it, it tipped over. My grandson fell, bashed his face and lips. His teeth must have bit into his lip because blood was streaming from his face. DO NOT BUY. Amazon should remove this item from their database. I threw it away. I wish I had purchased a different desk. My grandson had just turned 3 yrs old, so he was not too heavy according to the buying instructions listed.
After 3 years of constant use this desk is still in great shape!My son and daughter love it.I'm looking for a girly one for her but haven't had much luck.My son eats most of his daytime meals on the desk and does many many art projects on it.Of course don't let your kids climb on it it isn't a jungle gym for the love.For the price its great.I'm super happy with it!And all the art supplies it comes with are wonderful!We got hours of fun out of them.Cleans easily too.I just take it out and hose it off every now and then.:)
