This is simply one of the best one drops that there has ever been in mtg. It effectively allows you to double your mana in one turn.

A wonderful addition to any deck that can at least splash green. A good mana-fixer, plus a flying chump-blocker when you've established yourself mid-game. Wish these were legal in Standard!

maybe hate is too strong but they sent me a stupid little cardboard card with a picture of a bird on it .. slipped in a plastic cover maybe a 25 cent item
