This game is well designed, it is actually three games in one.Admittedly, we only use it for checkers and backgammon, but it's a full sized board, so you are not playing on one of those so called travel game boards that are not much bigger than your cel phone, it actually opens up to a full size checker/backgammon board with regular sized checker pieces.

The ingenious design is how it folds up, keeping the well for game pieces concealed.My son loves playing both checkers and backgammon both of which he learned with this set.

Leave it to Umbra to design something is that beautiful and functional.

Small complaint, I'd love the checker pieces to be heavier in weight or made of wood, but it is a small complaint considering the overall quality and thoughtfulness of this game.
