Tabletop Air Hockey Game

This was the last gift I "made ready" after all the kids openend their Christmas gifts. My wife bought this and I figured it would not be much fun and/or that it would not work very good I was wrong.

This is a great toy puck slides on air just like on the big table.Fun, EASY, portable, great coffee table fun.

Good for adults and kids!!

The quality of this product is quite low to say the least. There are dust all over it when I first opened it and some of the holes (that allow air through) aren't even punctured. The battery slot is highly flawed as you need a screw driver every time (you just DON'T do that on a high consumption product) and the batteries barely fit. They just keep popping out, so in the end I had to quickly force the cap on so they would stay. Lastly, the surface isn't completely flat so puck tends to move toward the center (however, I consider this acceptable since most of these tabletop air hockey sets are like this).

I gave this review a 3 and not any lower because it's really cheap. If you go to any store, the price you will get is $30. Plus it does work and it's still a lot of fun. Performance-wise, it's pretty much the same as the $30 set I had a few years back. I just have no confidence that it will last very long.

Few additional notes of interest:

-you get 4 pucks and 4 'sticks'

-requires 2 D size batteries

This was bought for a 6 year old boy. He liked it and it was popular with 4 and 9 year old cousins. Easy to play, no setup time and fast.

I felt it was not very sturdy and probably won't last, but it was a good gift.

This toy would have been fun if it lasted beyond two weeks. It just stopped working. I took it apart, fixed the loose wire, and the on/off switch broke off.

Disappointed.

John N. Hansen Company Mega Screen Video Poker with Back-Lit Color LCD Touch-Screen

I purchased this product for my elderly mother who enjoys going to the Casino to play video poker. I was looking for a larger, touch-screen machine, and this product appeared to fit the bill. Price was $60 (plus $10 shipping). Since the original price was over $250, the reduced price was too good to resist.

The machine arrived within 7 days of purchase. It's 2 feet high and about 18 inches wide. Although a battery option exists, we plug it in to operate.

Although not perfect, if you enjoy playing video poker, you'll enjoy this machine. Even guests who weren't video poker found it to be rather addictive. There are 7 games available, including the most common at the casinos. The touch screen is large, lights up, and is easy to use. Sound can be turned off if other's find it annoying. Betting can be made at 10 coin intervals to 50 coins. Winning percentage appears to be similar to a casino's (difficult, but not uncommon to win).

Pros: Easy to use, addictive fun for video poker players. Plus, you won't lose your money.

Cons: Although the touch screen for the card display lights up, the bet display does not. This makes it difficult to use at night unless you have a light on. The betting denominations are not the same as a casino machine. It would be better if the bets were in increments from 1 to 5 (quarters or dollars) to mimic the casinos. Although the machine keeps track of your points, and tells you when you've won, it does not tell you how much you won on any individual hand. You have to check how much your score increases, or use the score table that comes with the directions and is on the back of the machine. These issues do not significantly detract from the enjoyment in using the machine.

Sum: Lots of fun for the money. An accurate (if not perfect) mimic of video poker available at the casino. Great buy for the price I paid.

I paid over $300 dollars for this machine and it is worth about $75.I have a hand held video poker machine that has all the same

features this one has. Live and learn i guess.. It is well made and the display is large, but I was expectingmuch more for the bucks.

Alex Toys Sticky Foam Ocean

My 3 yr love this item. She was able to make this with her grandmothers help. We have it displayed for everyone to see. I end up bying 3 more this style.

My granddaughter, age 4, was able to follow the really good instruction sheet by herself. The finished product was really cute and was able to be a great souvenir, because it stood up like a picture frame.

I love Alex Toy kits in general. I have purchased just about every single one offered. They are high quality & I love they include everything needed in the box.The items are all safe.On these "sticky foam" one's though please be extra cauteous w/ little one's.As long as they are putting on the art work as intended there is nothing to worry about, but if they like to put things in their mouth then close supervision is needed or wait until they are a little older. This is just so unique. It is "puffy" foam pieces that give it a 3D look.I love seeing what they create.Highly recommend. They also have a dinosaur one that we liked the best. The ocean one is great too.

Mega Bloks Mini Bloks Tub (200)

I am slightly disappointed as the bricks fit very loosely together. Can be frustrating for little ones. Not as sturdy as lego duplo bricks.Overall, the price was right though and they are good enough to build small buildings/walls.Also, don't expect any decoration on the bricks. This set is all solid colored blocks with no decoration and no stickers to put on them. The picture of this product is misleading.

So my wife got the 71 piece Duplo set for our daughter. She loves them, but we needed more pieces. So I thought I was being smart when I saved a few bucks and got these Mega Bloks Minis instead. We also have the giant Mega Blok Maxis, so I figured the Minis couldn't be too bad. What a load of crap these things are.Sure, they aren't as shiny or colorful as Duplos, but the low price makes up for that, right? What really ruined it for me was when we started to play with them. The blocks have a very loose fit and nothing holds. We can build things, but the moment you want to move or lift it off the ground/table, the thing just falls apart.

Having said that, the Mega Bloks Micros are really good. The ironic thing is, Mega Bloks' own Micro blocks fit the Duplos better than they do their very own Mini blocks. Not sure why these guys can big and little blocks perfectly, but screw up so much on these medium sized ones.

Needless to say, this set of 200 blocks is being returned to Amazon while we await the arrival of our boxes of Duplo blocks.

Need a shorter cue for those tight spots or perhaps for a younger player? Look no further this cue is top quality and will feel at home in the rack. Very well made two piece cue, top materials, and has a very nice feel. It has enough weight and is well balanced enough so that you don't have to sacrafice feel when you need to use a shorter cue. Inflatable Floating Pool Party Pong Table

I purchased this product for a vacation last summer. The table is a great idea, but it isn't very enjoyable to play on.The cups do not touch, so it is difficult to play a real game of beer pong. When I got back home, someone recommended a similar product to me that I was unaware of that the time, which is the same price and keeps your cups tight.I went ahead and bought one of those to use for the rest of the summer and I don't regret it.Learn from my mistake! For your convenience, here's a link to the superior product ;).The Air Pong Table The Portable, Inflatable Beer Pong Table

I purchased this table for my granddaughter after doing a lot of research as to what is most financially and structurally the best for her. This came on time and with very little effort I was able to put it together. The best part about this table is it will grow with her to the age of seven. That I feel is a good financial decision in this economy, a one time charge.

Its exactly what the kids needed. and for cheap but not cheaply made. The kids can not even set it on fire.............yet

Billiards Pool Silver Cup Talc Hand Powder Chalk 13 oz

I'm in a wheelchair, in Florida, and it gets pretty hot down here. I don't want to smell perfumey, or like medicine. This talc is unscented. It helps keep you from chafing in a wheelchair.

I love this stuff.

It's excellent for reducing the friction between one's hand and a guitar neck.

More slippery & lasts longer than the baby powder I was using.

No smell either.

It's difficult to convince major talc manufacturers to offer an unscented product.I remember Shower to Shower and for a short period Johnson and Johnson offered unscented talc, but the duration was short lived and the products disappeared.I would think this product would be preferred by men especially who wish not to wear a scent, and this product has all the softness and absorbency of JNJ or any other good quality talc.Unfortunately it only comes in a 13 oz. bottle---a 24 ounce bottle would be great! However, I order a dozen of these at a time and they last quite a long while, and I appreciate the unscented nature, great absorbency and humidity shielding characteristics the product offers.Recommended highly to guys who use a scented product who would prefer not to, and to guys who are too gun shy to use talc even though they would like to because of the implicating odor.

Although this is sold as a hand talc for billard players, it actually makes a great unscented body talc for use on feet, etc. For a long time I was unable to locate an unscented body talc at a reasonable price so I was delighted to discover this prodoct. I've been using it now for several months and have found it to be an excellent talc of the highest quality -and it has no scent at all.

By the way, another reviewer mentioned that he was spammed by the supplier. That hasn't happened to me so maybe they have mended their ways.

• Convenient Top Window Design for Changing Bulbs

While this light source is adequate for most purposes, the output it not stable over time. We used it as a source for color reflectance measurements and had to white balance very often. I would not recommend this source for that application but it would be fine for microscope illumination or other applications where shifts in output spectrum are unimportant.

• Highly detailed plastic model kit
• Easy to assemble
• Accurate markings and insignia
• Assembly required
• Requires painting (not included)

I purchased four boxes last year for half again as much. These are clean and well detailed molds. They are much better than the other plastic 1/72 soldier sets available for the 30 years war. The only company doing it better is the Warlord Games Pike & Shotte series. However they are considerably larger (28mm compared to 25mm) and more expensive. I only wish there were more Zvesda sets available for this period, especially cavalry and artillery. These sets are NOT TOYS for kids. They are for adults who paint them up and play miniature wargames.

Toysmith Zen Garden

i love my zen garden !i sit at a desk all day and when im stressed or anything it is a relaxing thing to play with the little rake and sand ! it sounds so weird but everyone that passes my desk uses it and cant believe what a simple thing it is but how addicting it is !!! everyone shoulw have one !

I just received this today and while I knew to expect nothing hand crafted, I was shocked at how amazingly flimsy this thing really is. The bottom wood actually came with a huge crack; big enough to leak out all the sand. The feet were glued on with cheap glue and 3 of the 4 came off in transit. Based on the construction, I'm amazed it was even in one piece.

The reason this gets 2 stars is that the accessories are pretty decent. And the sand looks fine. If this wasn't cracked in the center, I'd most likely have kept it and it would have "worked" for its purpose. Having said that, if you are looking for a desktop zen garden, look elsewhere.

I tend to stress out a bit so my husband bought me this for my office as a stress reliever.I love it! It is a great way to zone out for a little while.

Read Best Reviews of Toysmith Zen Garden Here

The reviews of this product describing a horrible quality product are unusually accurate, I learned the hard way.The bottom of the wooden box was almost completely loose right out of the box, and you can't just snap the staples back into the holes in the wood because it won't stay. If you leave it that way, the sand will seep out of the bottom as quickly as you pour it in.I had to run to Wal-Mart on Christmas eve and buy very tiny nails and tack the wooden bottom back on with a hammer. The bottom line is that if you can choose a different zen garden, you should.

Learning Curve Brands Super Why - Princess Presto Style and Pose

Princess Presto has brown skin in the PBS cartoon."Lightening" her skin for the toy is disgusting. My AA daughter and I do not appreciate this.

Although her skin color maybe/maybe not a bit darker in TV show than this product, it is not so light as you see in the product picture. The size is perfect for my toddler. If I can suggest four improvement though, 1) the hair should be fixed so that the tiara would not be hidden, 2) it is nice if it includes hand bag instead of hair brush 3) it is better if she can hold the wand in either of her hand, not just right hand, and finally 4) nice if in addition to the arms, legs can be moved.
