Mega Bloks Mini Bloks Tub (200)

I am slightly disappointed as the bricks fit very loosely together. Can be frustrating for little ones. Not as sturdy as lego duplo bricks.Overall, the price was right though and they are good enough to build small buildings/walls.Also, don't expect any decoration on the bricks.This set is all solid colored blocks with no decoration and no stickers to put on them.The picture of this product is misleading.

So my wife got the 71 piece Duplo set for our daughter.She loves them, but we needed more pieces.So I thought I was being smart when I saved a few bucks and got these Mega Bloks Minis instead.We also have the giant Mega Blok Maxis, so I figured the Minis couldn't be too bad.What a load of crap these things are.Sure, they aren't as shiny or colorful as Duplos, but the low price makes up for that, right?What really ruined it for me was when we started to play with them.The blocks have a very loose fit and nothing holds.We can build things, but the moment you want to move or lift it off the ground/table, the thing just falls apart.

Having said that, the Mega Bloks Micros are really good.The ironic thing is, Mega Bloks' own Micro blocks fit the Duplos better than they do their very own Mini blocks.Not sure why these guys can big and little blocks perfectly, but screw up so much on these medium sized ones.

Needless to say, this set of 200 blocks is being returned to Amazon while we await the arrival of our boxes of Duplo blocks.

My grandson loves these blocks. He plays with them by himself for a long time. They hold together welland the set is big enough to make a lot of different things.
