Neverfall Robot - Sold Individually, Color and Style May Vary

Neverfall Robot - Sold Individually, Color and Style May VaryOver priced windup toy. Quality is OK, but not for price. It's plastic and a windup. It should be about about $1.00-$1.50. NO MORE. Thankfully I did not have to pay for shipping. Not worth returning. I hope this will help anyone else interested. Think twice before you buy

These little wind up robots look good but if you want a specific one don't count on it as whom ever ships it will be a random one you get so be aware.I also have found these at other various stores around town and picking the ones you want is the better choice, but for convenience buying through Amazon is after all another choice.

as for play ability they hold up pretty good but do tend to fall off the tables some what so the title is a Mis-no-meaner at best.

As for price it's seems a bit much for such a small wind up and I recommend that only if a child is really interested in these should a purchase be made.

Also be aware NOT to over-wind the toy as it will ruin the wind up function.

I got one of these dudes and I like it a lot. However, maybe I missed some option somewhere, but I didn't get the color I wanted.

We bought this Never-fall Robot for our son Michael, for his 5th birthday. He loves this toy.It operates just as advertised. The sensors keep it from falling off the table. It is a fun toy that teaches him how sensors can control the robots movement.

LEGO DUPLO Tubes Experiment Set

LEGO DUPLO Tubes Experiment SetMy son received an earlier version of this toy about 7 years ago when he was 2 from a wonderful "aunt."He was very interested in Duplo at that point and this toy totally occupied him for an hour or even two in my office. He did have trouble constructing complex "mazes" with the tubes at age 2 but was able to put short lengths together.By age 4, he could build anything with it.Somewhere around age 3, he surprised me by showing me a full tubular "donut" that he built all by himself out of 8 of the curved tube segments with one of the balls trapped inside.I am very serious about this toy introducing scientific concepts to toddlers. The little seesaw looking piece on the bottom left when built out with some Duplo rectangular pieces demonstrates balancing weights. The whole set is about geometry and physics. And don't forget FUN!Just about every child loves to build ball mazes and this toy has tunnels and pop-through gates, etc.Durable as well.I passed ours along recently to my scientific brother who just started his family, and it looked brand new.Simply an awesome toy all the way around. So glad to see there is still a version of it out there for others to buy and enjoy.WTG Lego!

We had this from when my son was 2 years old. He was fascinated with ball runs of all sorts but got bored with the limited ball run configurations of baby toys. I was excited to have found this set. The concept is great. Create your own twisty ball run. Go as high as you can and the only limit is the number of tube pieces you have. I bought 2 sets!

This set has been very frustrating to use. My son (until 4 years old) had trouble putting the tubes together because the connection has to be just right. So, all right, I could build and he could play. My son watched patiently while I constructed a ball slide with 8 tube pieces. The ball slide broke with 5-6 runs. The Duplo people often get stuck in the ball slide/tunnel. Not a set for experimenting. We did make ovals and circles and swirled the ball inside. Kids stopped playing with this when they can play with marble run and small Lego. So you are looking at kids under 4 or under 5. Unfortunately the structures are not sturdy enough for kids of this age groups.

Very limited. Only for small scale construction. Not recommended.

I have a home daycare & have been in business 9 years now. We have always had regular Lego duplos for my preschoolers and just recently purchased a duplo table with trundle. After having the same legos for 9 years, I decided to start searching for a few new items. We got a few Thomas Mega Bloks trains, some plastic track, and the Lego community vehicles set. But this tube set is by far the most used & played with. My littles can build small things and laugh as they put people or balls or other Legos down the small fast tubes. With my & my 9yo's help, we can build huge twisty tall structures. Heck, I even have a ball with them!

It comes with a few big base plates for stability(we don't need them since we have a duplo table), which you will need to build big structures. It comes with several kid people figures, about 75 Lego blocks, and many tubes & tube holders. It has several design picture cards for ideas to build & a great tote in which to keep everything together.

If I had to choose only 1 Lego duplo set to buy, this would be it. Lots on regular sized duplos, figures, and tubes with balls. Very very awesome!

Best thing to happen to the Lego....make tubes!!

I did not realize when I ordered this that the age listed on the product box starts at 1 1/2 years.I almost returned it, as my boys usually enjoy toys over their ages. I am so glad we kept it, it is their favorite toy set.My 3 year old insists on packing it from room-to-room so he can have it handy at every possible moment. The storage bin is very sturdy and handy for portability and organization.

Both love constructing loops and towers and other experiments with the tubing. There are plenty of pieces to build muli-level action and tubes. We build really big systems as a family and have combined our other duplo set (fully interchangeable) to accommodate these. But it is sufficient without extra pieces and bases.

This really keeps them entertained and creating and experimenting with such fun.

It's a great toy and they havent tired of it yet, after a few months and I anticipate it will be enjoyed for several years.

I wish I had found it sooner, I think it is appropriate and entertaining for ages 1-6.

I am updating this review now that my boys are 6 and 7 years old.As I anticipated, they continued to love this set and used it very regularly through about age 5.By 6, they have moved on to Star Wars and Ninjago and LEGO City kits.Although, the six year old who is more creative and really likes building things he still keeps this set by his bed and pulls it out occassionally. This set has been so meaningful to my boys that it will be one of the few items I store away for future days of grandchildren!

Happy building to all those little hands and minds out there!

I purchased this for Christmas instead of one of the marble maze toys, thinking it might be more fun for young kids.Though the price seemed high, I now know it was worth it.The set comes with some cardboard examples of different things to build, and once I showed my 4 yr old how to do it, to my surprise he really caught on to the idea and enjoys picking out something to build from the pictures on the cards and figuring out how to build what it shows all by himself. It has held his attention more than most toys.I agree with the reviewer who said the tubes are a bit tricky to put together, but it is within the abilities of a 4yr old, given some practice.

Madeline: 10" Miss Clavel Poseable Doll

Madeline: 10' Miss Clavel Poseable DollWhat a wonderful doll, such detail with the clothes and her hair all braided and pinned up. The clothes are very durable, the first day we got peanut butter on it and it withstood a good washing. My 4 year old is fascinated by this doll and how much she looks like the character in the books and videos. This doll is essential for the dollhouse, my daughter said who else is going to watch the 12 little girls? We are glad we added Ms. Clavel to our dollhouse. Very poseable. Katelyn just adores her.

It was very hard to find anywhere but so glad that we got this!!!

KidKraft® 2 - Slat Rocking Chair

KidKraft 2-Slat Rocker - RedThis is an adorable chair and the choice of colors is wonderful (the Blue is fantastic). It's simple to put together and sturdy. My only problem was that it came with the paint scratched off on one side, at the top, and on a bottom runner. The damage clearly did not happen in transit, since it was securely wrapped and packaged. We really like the chair, will keep it and I can touch up the paint myself, but I shouldn't have to. Otherwise, this is a nice, high quality little rocker. KidKraft items are great!

I am so happy with this child's rocker.I hope it will last her forever and will be a chair for my great-grandchildren some day.Beautiful finish...no dings.EASY to put together.SUPER fast delivery as well.

We bought this chair for my daughter's first birthday four months ago and LOVE it.It's sturdy and solid and very nice looking as well. She is not a big baby and she started climbing into it right away.Even when she would stand up in it, it never tipped over.(Although we always showed her to sit down right away). We have five kids ages 10 and under, the oldest three boys even, who all sit/stand/rock in this chair and it is still as nice looking as when we first bought it.In fact, the reason that I am back to write this review is because we are buying the same exact one for my older daughter's third birthday next month! That's how much they, and I, like this rocking chair. It is definately worth the money.

I'd say that kids up to age about seven would fit comfortably in it, but even my 10 year old will sit in it sometimes; he just looks a bit too big.But the chair definately holds his weight fine.

Great rocker, it is a little high, I guess it would be good for a 2 year old, my son is 18 months. In the picture there is a slat on the bottom on all 4 sides, but there is one on the rocker, so when my son gets on it he has nothing there to push his litle booty further on the seat, but it is SUPERB quality. This is REAL SOLID wood. It will last a lifetime

56 Pieces of Wooden Train Track Compatible with All Major Train Brands By Conductor Carl

56 Pieces of Wooden Train Track Compatible with All Major Train Brands By Conductor CarlWe love this train set!The pieces are made from high-quality wood.Of course, a mother doesn't want to have to worry about splinters, so I appreciate the smooth sanding on all sides of these pieces. It contains 56 pieces of numerous sizes, and the curved and split pieces have grooves on both sides, so the curved pieces can be flipped and used to go either direction. My little brothers grew up with a similar set, but it had loose pegs that held the tracks together. They would get lost, jammed, or even pinch little fingers, so the single-piece construction of these track pieces is terrific, and I don't have to worry about the baby finding any small choking-hazard pegs. There are 8 different kinds of pieces, some strait, curved, long short, and split, so that you can create a practically endless number of different courses. We put a small circular track together in a snap, and still had a huge pile of track pieces to make more, or expand our small one.Conductor Carl, you have a huge fan over here! Thanks for the hours and hours of train fun!I love filling my house with classic, creative toys and allow for hours of using our imagination!

Park & Sun 4-In-1 Game Table

Park & Sun GT-411 4-In-1 Rotational Game TableJust bought this game table for my 7 and 9 year olds. They are having fun with it and are very pleased.I'm sure they'd give it more than three stars, but I can't for two reasons.First, it took over eight hours for me to put the &%$#@)(@!&* thing together.I'm moderately handy, but this thing comes in close to 180 pieces, many of the pre-drilled holes are little more than "dots" that require some elbow grease or power tools to put together. And if you realize you've made an error half-way through the construction, you have to do a great deal of backtracking to fix it.Some of the pieces weren't a perfect fit (or maybe I had them backwards or upside down. The construction manual isn't bad, its just alot of work.Reason #2 Some of the wood surfaces were slightly marred or cracked.Again, maybe I put in a few upside-down, but it didn't look brand new by the time I was done. The kids don't notice, but after 8 hours of work, I noticed.

In an effort to ban the cyber-world from grandchild play, I ordered this four-game, three surface contraption. It has hundreds of parts that one must inventory within 48 hours of receipt, or the company will charge for replacing them. The inventory took about 3 hours. Two tiny, but crucial, pieces were missing.

The company suggested that 3-8 hours would be required for assembly. It took this grandfather about 48 hours over a two-week period. The assembly instructions were sometimes difficult to follow owing to an almost exclusive dependence on minimal visuals in very light print with no accompanying text.

Once assembled, however, the games are a joy to play, and while my anti-cyber tactic was not entirely successful, it at least gave the kids (of all ages) a break from the electronic world. If you like to mess with hand assembling complex toys, this space-saving contraption should thrill you.

I ordered this game as an end-of-year gift for my work. It came without the parts kit and instructions, but customer support was awesome; I called the 800 number and they emailed me the PDF within a minute. I inventoried the parts (it took a good half hour), emailed them the list of missing parts and received them all in the mail in a few business days.

The table itself took a few hours to put together, including some time backtracking my steps because I had an incorrect side orientation. The instructions are not perfectly clear at all steps, so take your time and read a few steps ahead to avoid problems.

The table is not of the highest quality, but I suspect it's a relatively good value. The wood seems to be paper-veneered fiberboard, and the bars for hockey/foosball are PVC and somewhat bendy. Nonetheless, everyone seems to enjoy it.

Pros: Works as you'd expect; great customer support

Cons: Any of these games is not as solid what you'd get if you spent $400 on a single game; assembly takes effort & intuition

Bought this to replace separate air hockey table and small rod hockey game. Was attracted to the 4-1 aspect with Foosball.Price was OK for what you seemed to get.Delivery came in 4 cartons which were a bit battered-looking from shipment but the contents were OK.Three things about this item if you order it:

1.Read over the instructions first before you start to assemble anything they're not easy to understand. Not the best-written instructions I've ever seen.

2.Make very sure you have all the right parts and count of parts, especially the several screw varieties. This will be trickier than you think the parts come in separate bags and SHOULD have small circular numbers on them that look like those "Inspected By" stickers that used to come on everything back in the day.But these are the part numbers referred to in the instructions. If those have fallen off the bag or part, it can get tricky to match up parts to the drawings.

3.Be very careful to keep the screws, washers and nuts properly sorted by their numbers. They come in a plastic pack with separate shallow bins and a paper cover with the part numbers. It will be difficult to remove the paper cover without obscuring or removing the numbers, spilling any parts, and remembering the orientation of the paper cover to the bins so you can match them up later.I recommend FIRST STEP put the hardware into separate ziplocs or sandwich bags or film cans or something and number them.

Set aside at least 3 hours to put it together. Also know that if you actually have ALL the proper screws and can keep track of them, in many cases the predrilled holes are not holes but just marks about 1/16" deep.So a power screw driver is going to be very helpful.Be very careful handling and attaching the "folding" pieces that support the play surfaces at angles. At several points you will need two sets of hands to complete assembly.

Had I known all these things up front, my assembly experience would have been much better.I ended up buying 12 1-7/8" screws that I could not find at all among the delivered parts.Actually, I had to use 2" screws because 1-7/8" is unavailable in the right diameter.

Once assembled, though -the hockey and foosball games work smoothly and very well. The billiard pockets are small but hey, it's a small billiard surface suitable for a child to learn how to shoot properly. We use the table quite a bit and like it.But assembly requires patience and persistence.

This is cute but seriously only for the smallest of babies. It can't really be repurposed for a young toddler, the stethascope and "blood pressure" taker are too skinny even for my skinny 20 month old.I don't know what I was thinking buying this toy.I had wanted her to pretend to be the doctor but it's just not possible given the size of the little plush Dr.'s tools. South Shore Furniture, Peak-a-Boo Collection, Changing Table with Drawers, Pure White

South Shore Furniture, Peak-a-Boo Collection, Changing Table with Drawers, Pure WhiteMake sure you read the size of this changing table carefully before you make a decision.I made the mistake of glancing at the size and eye balling the dimensions in our very small nursery. However I am happy with the purchase (I did manage to find a good spot for it)!

It wasn't easy for my husband to put together and in the process he nicked the item a little but I would still recommend this purchase. For $185 with free super saver shipping you just can't beat the price.

The quality of the wood is decent and the pieces came intact.Expect to spend a while trying to put it together especially if you are doing it yourself.

Also note that the white is a true white like the picture. The drawers move in and out easily and the cabinet has 2 large shelves in it.I think it's just lovely and am happy we got it!

Two things that I would have liked to know before purchasing this item, either of which probably would have made me re-think the purchase. First, the back and drawer bottoms are flimsy cardboard, not wood (or "wood product," for that matter). This is more or less fine for the back, but people put things in drawers and sometimes those things are heavy. I would prefer something sturdier.

Second and more importantly, this was truly comically hard to put together. Other reviews mentioned this but don't really emphasize it enough. If someone sat around and thought very hard about how to make assembly maximally time-consuming and frustrating, this might have been the result. The materials are needlessly complex; as but one example, instead of having drawer knobs with embedded screws, which would allow you to just screw the threaded end straight into the drawer, there is a separate knob and a screw, and the instructions call for you to insert the screw both through the drawer and into the knob. Seven times. You are supposed to do this manually, which leads me to my next issue, which is how very, very wrong it is to claim, as the instructions do, that one does not need power tools for this job. I can say precisely when I would have quit had I not already pulled out my drill: at step 21 of 34 (yes, 34, many of which had sub-steps a through c), which called for screwing a 50 mm screw into a piece of presswood with an inadequately pre-drilled hole. It was hard for me to get the screw all the way in using the power drill. I think it would have been impossible without it. The drill also came in handy when I came across several "Robertson screws" to insert, a type of screw that I had never heard of but in any event seems eminently substitutable for a screw that would fit a commonly owned screwdriver. Like, say, a Phillips. Fortunately, we had a drill bit that was apparently Robertson shaped. I could go on, but leaving all this aside, it is the case that we finally got the thing together and I'm 9 months pregnant with a decidedly non-handy husband (I'm not super handy myself). If we can manage, so can others. But use power tools and be prepared to spend 3-5 hours.

I have some other minor complaints as well, such as how dirty and dusty the thing was when delivered. Presswood coated in sawdust is not closer to real wood. It just makes a mess in the baby's room. Another is the large and permanent warning on the back edge of the table top border. You can't see it in the picture on amazon and you can't remove it. It warns that if your baby falls off a four-foot high surface, it could get hurt. I am sufficiently aware of this risk to feel comfortable covering the warning with stickers, but would prefer if it my nice new changing table didn't have nanny-state printed all over it.

In sum, I would not purchase again. However, I'm familiar with the maxim "you get what you pay for." The price is quite low and now that it's all together, I think it will be quite serviceable.

Learning Curve 2003 Madeline 8" Poseable Doll Bonus Outfit

Learning Curve 2003 Madeline 8' Poseable Doll Bonus OutfitWhat kind of moron with no children decided to discontinue a popular doll and replace it with an ugly interpretation that looks nothing like the original? Here's Madison Ave. again telling us what we should like, instead of LISTENING TO US.My daughter has a couple of the classic style, and I wanted to get her a couple more, but I'm not buying this garbage.I guess it's off to the auction sites....

This new doll is much different than the older version. We liked the old doll with its style and costumes based on the book.My daughters enjoy the art of the classic books, and thus were not keen on receiving this Madeline. This doll is more glamorous, which is missing the point of brave Madeline who was not a fashion plate. She does have a nice scar, but her long hair and glitzy face makes her look ostentatious and flashy. She is not the young Madeline who worried Miss Clavel. This doll wears a bit too much makeup I guess that would worry Miss Clavel, too.

I have loved the little clothes for the 8 inch Madeline for awhile, but have never been fond of the cartoon look of "classic Madeline". I was thrilled to see a face mold that I believe is cuter and has more personality. In addition to the face mold changes, this new version has arm joints that allow the doll to move her arms up and down as well as side to side. She also has a torso joint that allows her twist her waist from side to side. If you didn't like the old doll, this new doll is a fresh approach, and she can still wear the old classic 8 inch doll clothes.

My sister used to have a lovelly little 8" Madeline doll, which, though some of my friends thought she was freaky, my whole family, particularly my sister, really liked her and thought that she was very sweet and accurat to the book. Unfortunately, we lost the doll at an airport a few weeks ago, and have been unabloe to retrieve it. She would like a new Madaline doll for her birthday, but when confronted with the new version she started to scream, and I can quite understand this as it looks like a pretty pretty mutated alien Barbie with cat's eyes, and nothing like the adorable, quaint little Madeline in the books, who has the round chin, pebble eyes and short hair of the origional doll, which captured her charactor much better. She is an adventurous scruffy, brave schooolgirl, and in not apretty pretty Barbie. Please please bring back the old dolls. You can be sure that we will not buy your yucky new model.

P.s. Madeline in the books wears a little straight dress, not a red wolly jumper and skirt.

AquaPlay 512 Portable AquaLand

AquaPlay 512 Portable AquaLandWe bought this for my son's 2nd birthday from Amazon after we saw this on display in a local children's specialty toy store. The toy store wanted $20 more than what Amazon was offering it for & of course Amazon provided free shipping! This set is awesome. It occupies my son for a long time!We play with it outside on the patio as my son tends to splash water everwhere! We also bought 2 people & 2 additional sailboats.I like that is is portable, packs into the size of a little suitcase.

We bought this for our 3 year-old to put on the patio table for water play and pack upfor the beach, but still fold-and-go for travel and convenient storage.Set-up is not to difficult, but the instructions are pretty poor.I had to kind-of trial and error the installation of the rubber gasket pieces that join the two halves and make it water-tight.The water doesn't leak out, but be prepared for plenty of spillage with play-both over the sides and the gaps in the middle of the toy--this is not something you can just put a towel underneath to absorb. It held up well, but I was disapointed to see that you have to dis-assemble them every time you want to fold and store this item...wondering just how long it will remain functional. When you fold the table, there are 2 large holes on the bottom of the case that the smaller pieces fall out of.I had thought I could fold-and-go with all components nested inside, but that is not the case...to travel well, you have to hold the case upside down, with the handle towards the floor or the contents will fall out. Also, putting all the parts inside the case for folding is a bit of an exercise in 3D puzzle-solving...it took me a few tries. The table came with decals to decorate your harbor/roads, but we elected to skip them altogether, so I can't comment on how well they hold up to the water/sand/etc.Also, no matter what I try, I can't get the water pump to work at all-not at all essential to play-time, but annoying to me.Be sure you play in a place where you can just dump out the water, as there is no drain plug, and if your pump is also defective, you can't pump out the bulk of the water into a pitcher or other container for discard--I learned this the hard way. Overall, Mommy's a bit disappointed with the lack of forethought in the engineering of this product.

Our daughter, however, really enjoys playing with this. The bridges and locks do tend to pop off with play, but she doesn't seem to care the least.I just pop it back on and all is well.I wish it came with a few people, but she doesn't seem to care. Cute concept that should have been better executed for the price!

We received this as a gift for our 18-month old son and were excited to try it out. Here are some of the pro's & con's:

Pros

We've played with it at least 10 times and it does not leak

It comes with lots of parts to manuver & play

Educational for a child at least 3+ who can use it correctly

Cons

The pieces pull off very easily

Can be difficult to manuever some of the pieces as intended

Although it does break down and has a carrying handle, the bottom of the "suitcase" when folded is still open and all the pieces fall out.So you have to carry it upsside down.

The two sealing pieces do a great job in leak protection, but they are difficult to get on and off.I've started to just keep it assembled which takes up more room.

The Easter Bunny got this for my three year old this year. The instructions are very poor and getting the U shaped pieces with the rubber gaskets on right takes a heck of a lot of work they seem like they don't fit right still, and if he shifts it, the water leaks out.None of the accessories really snap into place andstay on where they are supposed to, they just kind of sit in the grooves on the board, so my son constantly wants me to put them back on. the water pump doesn't work on mine, either. He does like playing with this toy, so I will give it 2 stars, but it is strictly outside only since it leaks and is kind of a pain for me to get set up right for him.

Victorian Pond Lily Accent Lamp in Pink / Blue

Victorian Pond Lily Accent Lamp in Pink / Blue
  • Finish: Pink Mauve Blue Antique - Glass: Pink/Blue
  • Lamp Type: Candelabra

This was nice but came without a switch and had two cracks in it. I had to splice a switch into it and apply super glue to the three cracks in it, I did buy two others that came with no issues they are very nice I will keep them all too nice to return but they could have sent bulbs with them. they don't so I would buy them before you get them, night light size.

Life-Like Race Set and Train Set Combo Intersection Track

Life-Like Race Set and Train Set Combo Intersection Track
  • Can be used with traditional track in conjunction with Power-Link Adapters
  • Dura-Lock side locking track system keeps connections secure and snaps together easily
  • Can be used with other track with rail joiners in conjunction with 2 Power-Link Adapters
  • Compatible with all Life Like HO racing track
  • Joints stay together without clips

This is a cool idea, but alot of times the cars get stuck on the train crossing. Also, you must by 2 more of the pieces to join the train to it or you can not use it. I am not sure if it says that, if it does I miseed it, they are around $11 with shipping. It is very cool when it does work, I may try to modify it so the cars will not get stuck , just have not had the chance.

Mega Man Group Desk Clock

Mega Man Group Desk ClockIt looks just like it does in the picture is the only reason its not a 1 star. The picture on amazon is bigger than the actual clock. Its smaller than my watch. I was expecting something the size of a baseball and its the size of a 50 cent piece. Again looks nice just very small.

Beka Easel Refill Paper Roll

Beka Easel Refill Paper RollThe Beka easel paper is really high quality paper for a roll of paper -I'm very happy with it.

We had a craft table made for our granddaughters for Christmas.I needed a roll of paper for the holder on this table.I read through alot of the reviews on all the rolls of paper available for purchase.I liked the reviews on this paper, and while it is a bit more money then some of the others available, I chose this roll.Once received and installed on the table...and my granddaughters started using the paper, I was very happy!!It is of great quality and weight.Very nice!I will definitely reorder this paper for their use!It withstands watercolors and is very nice for just plain coloring!
